It's Location is far from the airport, but, Sheraton is a very good hotel for family. Big size swimming pools and beach. I watched 3 tutles in that beach.:) Near from Lahaina and Shopping mall, It was very comfortable for us.

Good location for snokeling. Very expensive. You have to walk a lot to avoid expensive ballet parking. Extra charge for resort fee. I walked all around resort because the staff misunderstand my english "business center" as "fitness center" haha.. At check in there was confusion on teh type of room that was reserved via hotels.com.

Our stay exceeded all expectations. Staff were polite and helpful from the moment we entered the lobby to the check out. We were upgraded to an ocean front room which had spectacular views. The food at the Black Rock was very good and the service excellent. Very nice beach, clean and not crowded. You can walk for a long distance easily. Snorkelling […] was good, but not a lot of fish the day we went. Local restaurants are an easy walk or short cab ride. Great value and excellent service! 더 보기

Sheraton is located in paradise. The pool is unreal, and the beach nearby is amazing (with Black Rock where you can snorkel). The location is also great, and it's only a 3 minute drive to Lahaina, which is a great little town. About 45 minutes to the airport. The resort fee is $25 dollars, which is very reasonable. We were in Honolulu the week before […] and we paid $25 for valet parking alone. The resort fee includes parking ($5 extra for valet). The rooms look a bit dated, but overall, I loved it. The whole resort is just amazing. Great location. Great beach. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Maui, and would definitely recommend it. 더 보기

The grounds and amenities are fantastic. You don't feel like you are in a hotel that is at 100% capacity. The tennis courts are great and the tennis staff wonderful! The Concierge wa so elpful in making tee times and dinner reservations. There is nothoing I would change about our experience st the Sheraton!

Best resort we've ever stayed in. Excellent food, service, amenities. Kids loved the black rock, snorkling, scuba and all of the other activities at the resort. My husband loved the golf! Will definitely make another trip to Maui and stay at the Sheraton! 5 star resort!!! Short drive to airport!

We found the service and staff attitude at this hotel to be absolutely deplorable. Guests are treated like cattle that need to be herded and staff are often rude and unpleasant. Any request is a problem. The breakfast buffet is served in a badly lit dungeon with the air conditioning blowing on guests and on the food they are trying to keep hot. The view from our room was breath-taking. We could lay on the bed, look out over the beautiful pool and straight out to the sapphire blue ocean and the black rocks. It was an unbelievable sight!

I went for my B-day...and let me tell it was the best time!!!! The hotel is amaizing! and the staff is great. The location was the best.

We did not get the room we reserved as we got a room with 2 double beds instead of a king which is not cool on a honeymoon. They were not very accommodating upon arrival with this issue or in general but service for the remainder of the stay was good. Nice location, good facility but they need to live up to their promises

Although the Sheraton Maui is not the newest or nicest hotel it was certainly the best location for snorkeling. The beach was the nicest of all the hotels in the area (Hyatt, Westin, Marriott, guests all walked down to the sheraton beach). We walked into the water and immediately saw the most amazing sea life...6 huge green turtles, manta rays, eels, […] and incredibly gorgeous fish. Staying right at Black Rock was the best decision we made and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves snorkeling. It was so good we didn't have to pay for a separate snorkeling trip since we saw more things right off the hotel beach. 더 보기

This was a beautiful hotel, but we were treated like cattle even though we are members of the hotel chain frequent guest program. We had no help when requested, the staff were surly, everything is additional charges, fodd and drink were way overpriced, waitstaff were ignoring us, kept coming up with 'out of stock' of all of the reasonable priced wines […] to the point of being ridiculous. I even had to ask TWICE to just get the candle lit on our table. There is an important concept in the service industry: Essential nonessentials, and this place has missed the boat on all counts. We stayed at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel the week before, and we felt welcome and as if they wanted us to come back to their property. Everyone had a genuine smil as if they loved their workplace. The KBH understands their customers are on holiday and want to be treated with respect and care. So for less money and a better holiday, we will return to the KBH, NOT the Sheraton Maui. 더 보기

This resort was everything we expected from Sheraton. It was nice and close to whalers village which had a variety of shops to look around of an evening. The beach resturaunts at whalers were all lovely, save room for your free hula pie on your second visit to leilanis!!! The free shuttle into old Laihaina town was great and the only down side is this […] hotel is a long way from the airport... Best to book a shuttle cause a taxi will cost in excess of $70 one way.. The starwood chain should consider a shuttle as a daily resort fee is charged anyway!! Overall though tops!!! 더 보기

We loved the place, the rooms were excellent and the view amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing place this is the place for you, just do not eat there. Again the Sheraton disappointed us with there food, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Eat at the Westin the food is amazing or go to the Whalers Village and eat at the Hula Grill. Just do not waste your […] money on food at the Sheraton, they have no concept of quality! Such a shame as it met all our needs in every other way. 더 보기

Great resort, excellent grounds and service, surrounding hotels and beaches very good. Easy to get to from the airport. We had a room with a view of the golf course, everything functional but the room was tired, well used and in need of an upgrade, not the standard I would have expected. This was the only downside to our stay.

Nice service, great pool and terrific snorkeling. But if they put you in a room in as remote a building as we were in you have to walk at least a mile to get to the pool or the lobby-forget something and you are in for a very very long trek. No parking near your room until another guest clues you in trying your key in the lot that is near. Invite guests […] and it will cost 20 dollars for them to park, no where near where your room is! 더 보기

My husband and I visited the hotel on December 31 through January 7. We stayed in buildingg 6, which was listed as Delux Ocean Front. The room was right on the ocean, and we were on the top floor. The location had views from every angle inside and outside the room. Although the location is not very convenient to activities and other hotel services. […] We had to take 3 different elevators to get to the pool for example--not that we minded walking, but if we want to just run to the room for something, that was unlikely to happen. The room was spacious and extremely quiet. We felt as if we had the whole area to ourelves. There were also some wonderful lounging areas nearby such as in the Rotunda. I did feel that the room service could have been better - it was minimal in my opinion and we were there for 7 nights. Otherwise the hotel employees were courteous. We definitely will stay here again but perhaps in building 4. We previously stayed in the Westin Maui, but we liked the location and quietness of this resort much better. The grounds are spacious and wonderful. We did wish the Starbucks was a regular Starbucks and open all day such as in the Westin. 더 보기

This is a very nice hotel to stay and I really have no complaints

Building 6 was far away from most Hotel activities. It is extremely inconvenient. I have an "ocean front" room which is less than what I expected. First floor and corner room with much of the view blocked by a fence hardly qualify as an ocean front room. Also, there are no 2 queen size bed in the resort. Parking spaces are inadequate.

This hotel suited us to a "T" because it had everything we wanted/needed. Good food, good beach, good pool, great surroundings, etc. By the way, the breakfast buffet was really great. Although basically the same each day, there was a little something different every day just to mix it up. If we go back to Maui, we'd probably go back to the Sheraton […] because aside from being good, the price was good, as well. 더 보기

We went as part of our honeymoon and had reserved a king bed, of course. Well, upon arrival we were notified that the hotel was full and we had been given an "upgrade" to an ocean view room but with 2 double beds. Sure the room was fine but when I called the front desk asking to be moved to an ocean view room with a king bed they acted like they had […] already done us a favor and suggested we call back the next day to see if anything opened. Ultimately we decided to just stay in our original 2 bed room and I let the front desk know. They still called the next morning saying our room move was ready. I just felt like the front desk staff were slightly rude and not at all interested in making us happy. Other than that the resort was great. Wonderful location right on black rock and beautiful beach. The pool was just ok. But the beach made up for it. We would go back but maybe will try the hyatt first. 더 보기

We had a great room w/ oceanfront vista for a discounted price! Sheraton Maui, among the other surrounding hotels,gave the best deals in price.

Really overpriced! The staff and services were very cold. no warmth to the service... The lanai was very poorly equiped (2 old chairs and a table), we were really expecting at least 2 lounge chairs... Restaurants were just Mediocre, and the fees for the emenities were way too much!

THe Sheraton is a really nice property located directly by Black Rock. It has one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Every thing about the sheraton felt first class. The only downfalls were a lengthy walk to your room and high restaurant prices,but you kind of expect that when you choose to stay at property that is 26 acres and has a high end […] name attached to it. However,with the property being that big it never felt too crowded,and cheaper restaurant choices were a ten minute drive into Lahaina. Overall my wife and i were extremely happy that we chose the Sheraton and will gladly stay there again! 더 보기

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for a few days during our honeymoon. The ocean view was wonderful and worth the extra cost. The staff was very friendly and accomodated us when we were unhappy with the first room we got. The on-site restaurant served fabulous food however, the restaurants and bars closed so early (9 and 10 PM, respectively). […] They charge a $25/day resort fee for beach towels and you have to pay extra for chairs and an umbrella. You can also rent snorkeling equipment. With that said, the beach was great and the sea turtles in the ocean were spectacular. I would stay away from their Luau because for the steep cost per person for food and open bar, I'd expect more than cheap vodka. Once we saw it, we cancelled our reservation. 더 보기

OK, I booked an oceanfront room and I guess we were upgraded to Building 6 on the 4th floor. There are pros and cons to this. The con is and I am not making this up is that you have to take either 3 or 4 elevators and over five minutes time to get to the pool or lobby so if you or someone in your group is not mobile or if you have really small kids […] to keep track of. This is becuase the building is on top of the cliff. The pro of building six is that you have the best ocean view in the whole state from your bed, not just the balcony but the bed. My wife and I slept with the doors open and woke up looking into the ocean. From the 4th floor, there is nothing between you and the ocean from the top of the cliff. From having other ocean views elsewhere in Hawaii, I can tell you that this view from the room is phenomenal compared to the lower buildings and a great place to watch a sunset. If being close to the pool is a must, I suppose choose one of the lower buildings. The room was fine, not exceptional and we had the breakfest buffet thrown into the deal where the omeletes were made for us and the bagels and lox were tasty, good service and good coffee. They have good bread in Hawaii. If you want to stay in Kaanapali, I think the Sheraton is the best and the Westin a close second. I thought the Hyatt looked a bit run down or aged and was probably #1 years ago. 더 보기

We stayed at the Sheraton for 5 nights at the end of May this year (2009). No complaints at all about the hotel, which is just lovely. all the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location on the beach is perfect.

I don't know if it is the Sheraton in general or just this hotel that was aggresive at offering deals, but we found a great deal at this hotel as soon as their occupancy rates began to drop with the economic recession. We ended up with a fantastic oceanfront view room for the price of a much lower class room. Loved our stay, got engaged right in front […] of the room and would definitely go back. Only complaint was the hotel is beginning to be a bit dated with its linens and furniture, but nothing horrible. 더 보기

今回初めてマウイ島へ訪れました。 そのため土地勘も分からずホテルはだいぶ悩みました。 最終的に「シェラトン」というブランドと、 公式ＨＰを見てこのホテルに決めました。 ホテルの建物と周辺環境自体は素晴らしく、 中庭も手入れが行き届いており感激しました。 ただサービスなどソフト面があまりよくなく （よくないというより、普通でした） もう少しゲストに対してwelcomeの気持ちがあっても良いのかな？と他のリゾートホテルと比べて思いました。 しかしながら、目の前に広がる海の透明度はさすがで、これからマウイに行く友人がいたらこのホテルを勧めると思います。

1歳になったばかりの娘を連れての旅行でした。 今回は部屋指定なしの朝食付きプランにしたのですが、フロントで海側でキングサイズのベッドの部屋を希望したら最初山側の部屋を用意されていたにも関わらず、部屋を変更してくれました。 朝食付きでしたがシュノーケリングツアーに参加する為に早朝出発だと告げると朝食を前夜にサンドイッチにして持っていけるようにしてくれるとのことで、部屋にいるとレストランから電話が来て希望のサンドイッチの具や果物、ヨーグルト、飲み物の希望をきかれて二時間後に用意して貰いました。 このサービスには感動です。 朝ごはんのビュッフェはオムレツを焼いてくれるのですが、自分で具をお皿にとってコックさんに渡すタイプなので英語に自身の無い人も大丈夫です。 サービスチャージがどのホテルもかか […] るのですが、ここも一泊ごとにチャージがあります。駐車場代とアクティビティーの参加費などが含まれていると書いてあったので、掲示してあるプログラム表をチェックしてフラダンスと生花で腕輪を作る講座に参加しました。私は英語のレクチャーで問題ありませんでしたが、男性のダンサーの方で以前東京ディズニーランドで働いていたことがあり日本語が出来る方がいて、彼が日本語でサポートしてくれました。 従業員の対応も非常によく快適に過ごせました。 夕飯は一回だけシェラトンで食べましたが、量も程よくお味も良かったです。 お部屋は非常に広くてバルコニーもテーブルと椅子があり広いです。お風呂はバスタブがありますが少し古めかしい感じですが、清潔にしてあるので不快感はありません。 カアナパリに最初に出来たホテルらしいですが、開放感がある建物でプライベートプールやビーチがあり、リゾートライフが楽しめるホテルです。（タオルも無料で貸してくれます） ホエラーズビレッジまでも海岸沿いの道を歩いていけます。舗装されている道なのでベビーカーでいけました。 ギリギリに予約したのもあってか、他のホテルよりも安いお値段で十分な施設とサービスが受けられたので満足です。 더 보기
