lots of noise in the hallways and outside as well, aircon did not work well. Breakfast the only real highlight, good food and service.

I'm usually no big fan of Marriott hotels, but this one was a pleasant visit. The crew at the hotel was friendly and helpful, room was nice, premises were good. I'm a trainer and the quality of the training room is a factor for my pleasure, and the room was clearly above the normal level I have to contend with. We went up there with our kids for a quick getaway and this was one of the hotels that had an indoor pool so we gave it a shot. They worked very hard to make sure we where happy. The view was not that great and teh room was pretty small. The kids had a great time, but we will most likely pass next time we are up in Salt Lake.

The Courtyard was a very nice place to stay, I was afraid at first from the outside that it may not be quite as it looked in the photos but once I found the main entrance and actually got in my room it was a fantastic stay. Very clean and roomy!

The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. Would stay again.

The room was nice the only problem we had was the loud musci from the club next door we moved rooms the next night but it did not make up for the lost night of sleep after traveling all day to get there. Janet

Close to downtown, friendly staff, clean, quiet and was perfectly situated for our needs for the weekend!

With customary Marriott-level service, this hotel was great. We were within comfortable walking distance of the Gateway Mall and dozens of restaurants and night clubs. The convention centers were 'around the corner,' as was the Temple. SLC's downtown has really cleaned up its act. I'm really, REALLY glad that we stayed here!

Our stay was great. The staff were very friendly, the grounds and hotel were very well maintainted, the food was very good. The hotel was very well positioned to access the locations we wanted to attend.

Front desk not very friendly or helpful; Rooms were not very big; Beds were not comfortable; Loud noise from traffic; Curtains do not shut completely and street lights illuminate your room throughout the night.

Nicely located, close to The Gateway shopping, Clark Planetarium, Trolley Square, TRAX transportation system, Energy Systems Arena. Clean pool and hot tub. Simple cafe, nicely landscaped courtyard area. Free parking.

The hotel was nice and the service desk people were great. I did have a few issues: Friday and Saturday night are a bit noisy. Another issue I had was that I had the "do not disturb sign" on the door, and the cleaning lady still knocked and insisted until I opened the door. That was a bit annoying. The room was a suite and very spacious for the price. Nice restaurant in the lobby although it would've been nice had there been a continental breakfast. Still, overall a nice hotel with a pool and workout area.

Hotel was awesome all staff was extremely nice beds were super comfy. Breakfast was so so good. Hotel was very clean. I will for sure stay there again.

Very nice downtown location; excellent condition and very clean! Near the interstates and airport. Remember, the restaurant isn't open for dinner on Friday, Sat, or Sunday!

Breakfast was a little on the pricey side, so we didn't eat there ( 2 adults and 3 kids ) but other than that, very nice all around. Friendly and helpful staff.
