Two problems. The bathroom had a travel toothpaste that was open and partially used. The drawers had old wrappers, receipts and trash in them. On Sunday morning when I asked the concierge what time the Getty Museum opened he said all LA museums were closed Sunday and Monday. Upon my mandatory early arrival due to the hotel located within the racetrack we had to have vehicle parked before 7am.Grand Prix is busiest weekend of the year in Long Beach there wasn't a housekeeper scheduled to clean rooms until 10am therefore no checking in available until Afternoon. Due to situation the housekeeping staff should have been prepared […] for the early guest arrivals. My usually great hotel view of the Racetrack parking had been fenced off and no access even for paying hotel guests. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly was extremely slow. 더 보기

This hotel is expensive but lovely. worth it as long as you can afford it.

This hotel is right across from the Marina where the Queen Mary is located. It is close to most everything in Long Beach within walking distance to downtown, the aquarium and the coference center. The rooms were recently remodeled and very nice. The maid service was excellent and the restaurant has a great breakfast buffet.

The hotel is a bit pricy and I didn't find any "good" deals on their website. However, I did enjoy my stay here. I was able to workout when I wanted to, relax by the pool and It was very convenient to where I needed to be. My only "complaint" was that my room wasn't cleaned like it should have been. The glasses in the bathroom were still dirty. (I […] could still see a full lip print with lipstick on the rim of the glass) Needless to say, I didn't use them. I will stay here again. The room we had was modern comfortable and had a beautiful view. Wished we could have stayed more than one night, but had a boat to catch in the a.m.

The hotel is great over all. Great location, great views, decorations, upkeep and service are everything you could want. However, people in the next room were talking at a very normal tone and it sounded like they were in the room with us. Because their conversation seemed so loud and clear it was hard to sleep. I didn't complain because I didn't think […] they were doing anything wrong. And I didn't want to have to change rooms late at night. Great Hotel restaurant and bar inside hotel. Movie theater and lots of restaurants choose from within walking distance. Very clean and up-to-date.

The furnishings although fashionable were not comfortable. My wife and I had room service dinner in our room one night (the food was pretty good) and the only chairs were of different heights and the coffee table was the only place to eat. Not comfortable. The bathroom remodel was very trendy but the toilet they chose was very tall and the sink which […] was very unusual, was too hight and had no way to stop the water in the basin. I booked the room last minute nd it ened up being an amazing night "packge deal".... The staff are very humble, open minded, and very social.... The bed and breakfast was yummy.

$17 per nite parking and no in room wi-fi?

We stayed in a newly remodeled room on the 17th floor. Very clean and comfy. Hotel staff at check in was extremely friendly. Other than the $17/day parking fee, and no free wifi it was great!

Although we were warned at check on that they were in the middle of renovations, the stay here at Hyatt was awesome!! Perfectly located by the ocean and pine street attractions. Our newly renovated room was BEaUTIFUL!!!! And oh so comfy.

the hotel service was good but the bed was uncomfortable also all the construction was ver y noisly and the parking lot is to far away from hotel and the fee for parking was to expense

The hotel could not be located in a better neighborhood. Right in the middle of shopping, restaurants and the harbor, it is in a prime location. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing was that we arrived at noon when we got off our cruise ship and they told us they had no rooms available for us yet. This is the first time I haven't been able to […] check into a hotel early. The lady at the front desk took my phone number and said she would call me when a room became available. We ended up going out to lunch and did a little shopping. No one ever called me so we came back at 3pm which was check in time. It seems pretty unlikely that not one room was clean between 12 and 3pm. They were not accomodating to an early check in time. 더 보기

Great location for Long Beach attractions - most places walkable but easier to use regular free city shuttle bus. The Hyatt is an impressive hotel that is being refurbished (Dec 2011, still had a way to go) - so be prepared for noise after 8am. Old rooms now look outdated but were very clean and well-maintained. Overnight hotel parking is quite expensive […] but can stay there until 5pm on day of departure which makes up for it. In-room wifi was strong ($5 for 4hrs. $9 for one day) Would stay there again to see how it's changed. 더 보기

The hotel is undergoing renovation with considerable noise from 8am-6pm. The water and electricity can also be turned off for part of the day. If you plan on sleeping in, this is not a good place to stay currently.

Hotel was nice and people cordial. However it was under construction and I did not anticipate hearing noise early Saturday morning....

Our experience at the hotel was great. Our only negative about the hotel was having to pay extra for parking. Maybe this is normal in California, but I have never had to pay extra to park at a hotel that I stayed in before, anywhere.

Staff was very friendly. It was close to many great restaurants and entertainment. Rooms were a little out-dated and the beds were not very comfortabe but the location was great!

It was are honymoon and we got there and ever one was so nice. When we checked in they found out that it was are honymoon. We walked to have dinner and there is a lot of resturents. The hotel is close to lots for entertainment and restaurants. We had a great night on the town but paid for it in the morning. Walls are paper thin which made it impossible to sleep. People in the room next to us were so noisy that we had to call security! We were advised that renovation work on the weeked would start around 9 am but the hammering woke […] us up at 7:30. If you are staying in downtown Long Beach, CA there are a number of hotels to consider. This is one of the best located near all the Shoreline restaurants, aquarium, entertainment, convention center, etc. Only complaint - the gym is a bit understated (re: SMALL!). Other than that - a great house.

Great location, friendly staff. TV did not have CBS so we couldn't watch Sunday football. Beds not as comfortable as you would expect for the price. Nice room, but was expecting more.

Greatly appreciate environmental measures instituted by the Hyatt- recycle receptacles in convenient locations and an environmental towel policy that's actually implemented by the housekeepers. Staff was very personable and helpful. View of the pond, ocean and Queen Mary were magical!

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is safe in a safe area and within walking distance from bars, great restaurants, Convention Center, and it is water front. The hotel and rooms are a bit dated and could use a little sprucing up, however, the friendly staff and great service made up for it. We ordered a car and they got us a car and called our […] room and check on us during our stay we had a great time. We went to an event at the Long Beach Convention Center and the location adjacent was perfect. Don't miss the Saturday breakfast buffet - wonderful. Our stay at this great location with ocean view and good restaurants across the street turned a conference into a romantic get away weekend.

This hotel has a fabolous location! You can walk to shops and restaurants and it has a fantastic view. The bed was not comfortable. The sheets and pillows were not soft. The room and bathroom looks like it is stuck in the 80's and needs to be updated. We were very disappointed.

Let me start by saying that I didn’t have an emotionally poor experience. I’m writing this purely analytically. The hotel has a nice lobby and is located in a great location. However for the price it is barely a 3 star hotel. The rooms and hallways were cheaply renovated and the experience was marred by the cheap room. They placed a 36" flat screen […] TV in the room but none of the cable signals were in HD. How cheap is that. Newer furniture but carpet and bathroom counter were straight out of the 90's with plenty of wear. Door rattled constantly just from people walking by. Staff was indeed courteous, but the hotel had little to offer. Location was close to the wharf and night life however nearly none of the rooms have good views.. But still wasn’t worth the room rates.
