The rooms were very neat and clean. Only thing it was missing was no bathroom ventilation/fan a much needed service. Enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast buffet being included in the price of the room

Great location & amenities, room was nice with great views of the city...only down side was the wait for an elevator...times it took up to 15 minutes or more.

NO SUV FITS IN THE PARKING GARAGE AND AT NIGHT THEY LOCK THE SIDE DOOR SO YOU HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BUILDING TO GET IN!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

The new renovations were nice. But, one would think that a 20 floor hotel would have more than 4 elevators for guests to get to their rooms. We seriously had to wait 20 minutes to get on an elevator numerous times. For a 6 month pregnant woman and two young children climbing up or down 14 stories is not an option---unless there had been an emergency. It […] was also irritating that I tried a few times to call down to the front desk and guest services to request a fan for out room, and there was never any answer. Another thing that REALLY made me mad was that we took our car out for the day. Upon coming back to the hotel parking garage we had to pay $25 to get back in, although we were hotel guests. (This was due to it being a "special event" weekend.) This was on top of what we had to pay to exit the next day. The last thing that made me pretty mad was when we went to check out (along with 100's of college kids) all of the self-checkout kiosks were "out of service". So, I had to wait in a 25 minute line. When it was my turn I gave my information and was simply told, "You have no charges--thanks for staying." B.S. I had to wait in line for that crap. Will not recommend this place to anyone as all 8 in my party had complaints. 더 보기

The hotel was very nice inside and is close to everything we just had to walk to everything. The only down fall is our room included parking, but when we got there the parking garage has a max height of 6'2" so my car would not fit the worker at the hotel said it would no problem, but my car is almost 7' tall and we did not want to take that chance […] so we had to pay extra to park in the mall parking garage, but the hotel is connected to the mall so it was nice. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, the staff is very friendly and the hotel has been completely updated. We will visit again. Hard to find the parking garage, but we did after circling two times around the block.

I was very disappointed that although I reserved months in advance the type of room I reserved was overbooked. The person who checked me in offered no compensation for putting me in a different room (4 people with a king bed and then temp beds added - the bathroom was also configured for handicapped which means shower was not something I liked). Great hotel altho it ,s going under a big renovation that should be done by end Jan 2012. Nice personnel, fantastic location, updated rooms that are very nice, crisp and comfortable bedding, nice flat screen and NEW bathrooms. It's a big Hyatt but no problems getting around and elevators were pretty quick. Great restaurants and activities are all right […] there. It is not a good for us to stay and pay a top dollar for the hotel under construction and thier managment think this is our mistake staying there, what hotel starting an airhammer at 7:30 AM but will stop the construction at noon time? that is it and from nect time i will go back to Hilton or Conrad as always, have a happy thanksgiving.

This was one of the pricier hotels in downtown Indianapolis and my wife and I were less than impressed with the quality of our room (old carpet that had large wrinkles in it because it wasn't laid well, no refrigerator for leftovers from our night out on the town, and just unimpressive due to it's average size and bland decor). Also, there are only […] four elevators and guest traffic is much heavier than what they can handle, so you are typically waiting a long time for one (especially when everyone is checking out in the morning). This is frustrating when you are on the 18th floor and taking the stairs really isn't an option. The other major issue we had was when we checked out in the morning it took about 30 minutes for the valet to finally bring our car around, because like the elevators they were limited on how many cars they can bring around at one time and everyone was trying to leave at the same time. The two good things about this hotel were the friendly and helpful staff and the convenient location of the hotel in downtown Indianapolis. 더 보기

this has to rank amongst one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Service poor, rooms filthy ambience awful this is not a real Hyatt Hotel

My stay there was great until after I checked out. Appearantly they had an issue with getting payment through Hotels.com so went ahead and charged me without saying anything. Hotel was great although i requested a King bed and did not recieve it when i arrived.

The Hotel was perfect only one block to the state capital bldg. easy acess to Circle City Mall & Indiana Convention Ctr. Perfect location. nice stay

This is a very beautiful hotel right downtown Indy. The only problem was the elevators. There is four for such a huge hotel. Be prepared to wait and wait.

Had trouble finding entrance to hotel.

This hotel is in dire need of an update. Changed to computer check in. No personal service. Bill reflected upgrade charge which I was able to get off but had no idea about what it was. In our recen visit to Indianapolis, we brought my daughter and 2 of her friends as an early graduation gift. They had a great time! The Hyatt is connect by skywalk to the City Center Mall giving the girls access to shopping, movies & dining options. On our second night, we treated the girls to dinner at the Eagle's Nest Restaurant (which they all […] loved!) and a late night horse drawn carriage ride around Indy. Hotel had opportunity for excellent service but blew it. They don't offer an airport shuttle. However when I called about this, they could have advised me of the Green Line which is the best economical way to get there. I had to find out through trial and error. Then I needed wireless internet. I was shocked it wasn't included in the room when most […] lower priced hotels offer it free. Here again, I was able to find free access inside the hotel but I had to search for it. The front desk could have advised me of how to find it but they didn't. We had a very good stay accomondations were great. However my only problem is that they nickel and dime you for everything. Parking was an additional $22. per night, Internet use was an additional $., and breakfast at the hotel was around $18.00 per person per day.

Plastic cups in the hotel lobby bar....nice touch for $200+ per night........elevators are really slow & too small......parking is insanely priced for the city.....overall - not worth it when there are other options nearby like the Westin or JW Marriott.

We loved our room. It was clean and quiet. The lobby bar had great service and good food and drinks. The hotel is also connected to the mall so we went shopping without even walking outside. The restaurant we went to dinner at (St. Elmos) was close to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location for downtown nightlife.

This hotel is top-notch, and I asked for a room on the top floor with a great view and they even helped me get last minute dinner reservations at the most romantic restaurant in Indy, "the Eagles Nest". Awesome and Great Job Hyatt!

I was not able to get the room I had booked and the room I got was not in very good repair. The view was not good and there was a lot of construction going on all around the hotel. My husband and I stayed overnight because we were attending a Pacer's game. The hotel was in easy walking distance. We had a great view of downtown Indianapolis. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We did have problems with our electronic key which kept de-activating, but the staff was nice in activating the key each time. nice hotel, tv volume was broke, the movie rental and internet service was not working.

Avoid, bathroom dirty, the toilet not working well, the door handle crooked, too much noise at night, people running, front desk don't know what to do, I need to call them 3 time to make the noise stop. Check in was a breeze. This is the most centrally located hotel for all the best resturaunts in the Downtown Indianapolis area. The rooms are a little on the small side for the price, but very clean, comfortable, and convieniant. Stayed here one other time about 6 years ago, and is still every bit as nice.
