The hotel staff was very nice and I was actually surprised that the staff asked if I had any special requests when I was checking in. Overall it was very relaxing and the rooms were quite modern. The only thing I would suggest is update the TVs. Ours was was not very clear and upgrading to HD is something customers would appreciate.

I'm picky on location. I think you always need to be close to something.... and the only thing this hotel is particuarly close to is Reagan National Airport, which you only need when you are arriving and departing. The area around the hotel isn't particularly "cool." You're not right at the Metro, though the hotel does offer a free shuttle. Location […] aside, the hotel was clean and sleek. Without a doubt a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Our room was spotless and even the bed was comfortable! The location is great with easy access to Washington D.C. and surrounding areas via hotel shuttle to the metro and airport. Hotel is Located very close to airport and they have free shuttle. But the room was very small, no free wi fi was a bummer. Not a great value for the buck, overall not a bad stay either

They mentioned they would do something nice for our anniversary, but didn't send anything. There were only 2 towels in the room and they never changed our sheets (even after we accidently spilled breakfast on them). It's about a mile walk from the metro so I likely wouldn' stay here again.

I was a bit disappointed in the lack of free internet (which is standard in most hotels now) or access to a computer to check emails etc. Also, the sheets used in on the beds pull out too easily revealing an uncovered mattress, this is unhealthy. The hotel is great, rooms are beautiful, modern and very comfortable. Overall excellent. Really the only complaint we had was that if you are in your room with door shut you still hear people in hallways as if door was open. All fine and a pleasant distance from hotel to Crystal City Metro. Choice of resaurants close. Room was as expected, but disappointed that mid-range hotels offer free internet access, while nicer hotels like this charge. I guess assuming the business traveller on expenses.

After reading other reviews, I was a bit nervous about our upcoming stay. However, I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. I thought the bed was quite comfortable and the shower was great too! The only minor problems were, as mentioned before, no free Internet. Thank goodness it was a trip for pleasure not business. Relatively easy access to Metro rail. Lack of complimentary wireless Internet is the biggest negative.

Hotel staff was among the best I've encountered. Second time in hotel and although I have to schlep it into town to see the sights, the shuttle to the Crystal City metro stop and the comfort/atmosphere of hotel makes it all worth while.

It was a large and nice room for a more than reasonable price. Though it is a bit from the Metro station, because they have a free shuttle it makes it worth the price and location.

The valet price for parking at the hotel, could have been lower. Looking at the parking garage next door and neighboring hotels, the Hyatt could have done a better job in that department. When I checked in there was a group of elderly people trying to check in, I understand they always have some kind of need they have to have, but at that point, there […] shouldn't have been only two desk employees. It wasn't until I was done checking in when the rest of the employees came out to help. Other than that, it's a nice hotel, the rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the surrounding cafes are convenient. It's more of a business trip hotel, and not really a family oriented hotel. Most of the rooms where looking straight at other hotel rooms, but for the price, service and cleanliness this place was the best compared to surrounding hotels. Hotel was fine. Nice rooms, VERY friendly service, but basically no restaurant to speak of. There is one there, but the menu is HORRIBLE ( spaghetti, one small,nasty steak, one or two seafood dishes. Luckily I ended up here, my new favorite place when visiting DC, when another hotel screwed up my reservation (other hotel gave me a confirmation #, but contacted me later to say they were overbooked). My good fortune, since this place, with several hundred rooms, seems well managed all around: pleasant, efficient check-in; great modern, bright, clean, […] large room; good flat-screen TVs, just what you want all-around.
