We were soo disappointed. Will never ho through you again. You told us ocean front...we were back in a tiny room in the parking lot!

Great location to enjoy a little R & R. The weather was lousy so we didn't get to take full advantage of the pool nor the beach. But we did enjoy our stay.

We loved the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa. We regret that we were only there for one night. I asked at check in if we could get an upgrade which we were able to do at no additional cost. Our room was spacious, clean, and bright with a decent sized, clean bathroom with great shower pressure. We had a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean beyond […] and our room was located fairly close to the elevators. There was a nice Starbucks next to the lobby where we were able to get coffee and a quick, simple breakfast before taking off on the next leg of our trip. There were two large glass containers of water, one flavored with fresh oranges and one with fresh lemons, in the lobby area. All of the staff were especially pleasant and most helpful. Someone on staff recommended a fabulous restaurant to us which we LOVED. We did not have an opportunity to take advantage of the amenities since we were there for a short 24 hour period and the weather was cold, and rainy. Yes we did have to pay for parking and for WiFi in the rooms but in my research of hotels, I found that that seemed to be typical. My main concerns when choosing a hotel are that it be conveniently located, clean and safe. The Newport Beach Marriott was that and a whole lot more. The staff did an excellent job of making us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. 더 보기

The hotel was lovely as was the staff, however self parking was $21 a day. Found this a bit stiff.

Everything great except the clerk who checked us in seemed in a hurry to get rid of us - no extra info.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Marriott! Room service was delicious, everything was clean, beds were super comfy! And the staff was always helpful and friendly!

every time we stay there it is always very good. all the personnel take very good care of you. we will every time in the area stay there.

Very nice and conveniently located next to Fashion Island. Their valet service is great but a bit costly for a $28 each night. Great restaurant buffet breakfast and services were just great and extremely friendly staffs. Highly recommended. Will stay again if we go visit next time.

The Staff at the Newport Marriott was wonderful. I has a great location with Fashion Island right across the street offering an assortment of restaurants and great shopping. I would recommend this hotel Sincereely, LT

Excellent service at this Marriott. Wonderful location. Only thing I would recommend is that they update the furniture at the pool.

Excellent service. Very nice and clean. I recommend this hotel. I took my sister to celebrate her birthday. Lots of restaurants near by. Driving distance to Balboa Island. Gorgeous golf course & ocean views in the distance. We were lucky it was clear & could see Catalina. Loved our balcony. We watched sunset & sunrise. My husband wants to go back.

Highly recommend for families as well as couples! We are looking forward to our next stay.

stay was fine, the onl.y problem was that ti sis not a 4 star "resort" it is a hotel; clean and service is fine thats it. kmm

We stayed here while we were visiting colleges.The central location, incredibly friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff, and attractive useful common spaces were great. Wonderful sushi.... The room was fine. Bit of a annoyance that roof fans below made it impossible to have the slider to the small balcony open for air because of the noise. (We were on […] the 10th floor). This hotel is in a wonderful area. The best perk is having a fabulous mall across the street with numerous places to see, shop and eat. I might have rated this hotel high if they would have been able to handle one task for me. My guest room was extremely warm when i arrived and i cranked the a/c down to 60 with high fan. As i changed for a wedding that […] i was attending onsite, the temp never cooled down. The a/c was running and blowing cool, but it was not getting cold in the room. So as i put on my suit, i was dripping sweat and this was after i had just taken a shower. I went to the wedding and returned to the room a few hours later to grab a few things and the room was still warm. As i passed the front desk on my way to the reception, i asked the front desk clerk to send engineering to take a look at my room to see if they could fix the a/c. They said they would handle it. Well after the reception, i went back to check the room and it was still not putting out the cold that it should have been. I was not happy to pay that amount of money to stay somewhere where they couldn't even get the a/c right. Hopefully the next person going in there can doesn't have an issue with it. 더 보기

We enjoyed our stay at this Marriott. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room and hotel were well maintained.

Clean, cheerful, great service, good breakfast. We only stayed one night so we didn't use all of the facilities but the amount of time we were there was a very pleasant experience all the way around.

Impressed with the staff and their positive attitudes and helpful manner.

I stayed here with my girlfriend over the weekend for a little pleasure trip. The hotel is immediately adjacent to Fashion Island, so she loved the proximity to shopping options. We had a room on the 8th floor which offered great views of a golf course, the bay, and ocean on the horizon. It made for a fantastic sunset, which we took in from our balcony. […] The room/bed/bath/tv was all solid. Everything we needed was there, and in good condition. We decided to eat at the on-site Steakhouse (mainly because we purchased a hotel voucher with our room on hotels.com). The $35 fixed price dinners were an excellent value and of very high quality. The restaurant service was just ok though. Kind of a younger waiter who was trying, but a bit laid back for my taste at this price. It worked out well though. They have an upscale bar with a few TVs and a Starbucks! We thought about hitting some spa treatments, but they were too spendy for our taste. The pool and jacuzzis were nice though, no complaints at all there. They had outside fire pits that were cool as well. Overall, a nice experience that I am comfortable recommending to others. This hotel was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. Enjoyed our stay!

I like staying at Marriott's because they are always consistently high quality and this location did not disappoint. I would definitely stay there again. The adjacent mall was beautiful and convenient.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were nice. I loved having a balcony that over looked the pool. There are 3 seperate pools. I would stay here again for sure. The location is great. It has a lot of restaurants within walking distance. It would have been nice to have a tub in the room.

We stayed for 3 nights and invited some friends over (10 people) to celebrate an afternoon get-together who also checked-in for 1 night to this hotel. We used the patio area by the Cabana (outside the pool area) and brought in outside food. After about 1.5 hrs we were told to leave since there would be a wedding reception happening that evening and […] the wedding guests would be using the patio cabana. He asked us to transfer to the other patio area which would have been fine until he asked if we were checked-in into the hotel. We got upset. What a nerve he has for asking guests this? Very rude! The patio area is for all the guests to use. It's not part of the patio restaurant or the pool at all. It's by the terrace. Anyways, this guy made our day but we still managed to have fun amid the rudeness of this employee. Other than that, the hotel itself is upscale, the surroundings are pleasant and the room was quite nice. I am turned off by the $12.95 per day internet fee they imposed. This is almost free anywhere now and I don't see the reason why Marriott and other hotels will charge a fee! This wouldn't cost them much to offer for free. The other places we stayed in Carlsbad - the Grand Palisades Resort had free internet/wifi as well as the Hampton Inn and Suites in Seal Beach. The parking fee of $18 is moderate. That is fine. Other hotels like the Hyatt in Huntington charged us $30 a day and it was valet only. I do not like valet - at all! They gouge you for more $$$. 더 보기

We have a great time - good location, short ddrive to the beaches. Staff was very professional. We will keep this place in mind for future stays.

They have a nice outside play area next to swimming pool. My family enjoyed our entire stay. Service was great.

We were totally amazed at the location of the hotel. It was away from the noisy beach area but in a beautiful setting with great restaurants close by. The hotel restaurants and bar were great too. The pools and spa were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great getaway!
