All in all a good stay. At first was placed in wrong room, but very quickly corrected. Parking can be a long walking distance. The bathtub is very small, even though it was designed for handicapped. From the reviews and pictures of the hotel, I thought I had found a great place to stay as a "treat" for us. Normally we will just stay in a simpler, and much cheaper, hotel when we travel, but I thought this would be a nice getaway. Although the bed was comfortable, I don't believe our stay or the hotel itself justified the amount paid at all. The […] room overall was cramped, and my view was of the side of a building from all angles. And to have to pay for parking to stay at your hotel doesn't make sense to me, and we almost got charged for parking even though our reservation was made to include it as a "special". I for one will not be making another reservation at this hotel, I wish I had stayed elsewhere for our weekend. 더 보기

The hotel staff was most helpful - they mailed shoes to me I had left in the room. The bed linens were quite nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Most of the staff were very pleasant. We had difficulty getting service the second day we were in the restaraunt for breakfast. The first night we were at the hotel the parking attendants informed us of free car service to area shops/restaraunts. We had no problem getting to the place of our choice, but it took them 45 minutes to come and get us after […] we called for pickup. They had a new driver who was asking us for directions on how to get to where we were; and we are from out of town. Hello GPS!! Also the room has smoke detectors that I appreciate, but the light that shines and blinks on it reflected off the mirror located in front of it and it looked like a small lightening bolt in our room ALL NIGHT!! The last issue we had was the fact that the indoor pool was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel for our stay. The temperature in the indoor area was very frigid. So frigid that we could not stay in the water for very long and other non-swimmers were covered in towels (non-swimmers who had never gone into the water) in order to stay warm. When we addressed the front desk with these issues we received an apology and an offer for a discount off snacks in the "store area". There were definitely things left to be desired in our stay. We love Marriott hotels, but we will definitely stay somewhere else on our next visit. 더 보기

My family of 5 (3 kids) planned the stay and paid for it up front through Hotels.com for a two queen bedroom but when got there there was none available!! What a start of vacation!! Is been 13 days and I still haven't received the credit back from Hotels.com The people at the hotel were very helpful and courteous.

My wife, two little critters and I spent three amazing days at this Marriott hotel. Location is simply excellent!

Some of the staff there need to be retrained in customer service.Room given away given 1 king size bed for five people.

Submitted Concerns with Hotel Staff regarding room not fully cleaned at check-In. I had to personally clean out the refrigerator and remove towels from bathroom. In addition, experienced A/C issue upon Check-In and reported the issue several times. At bed-time, the A/C completely would not operate. The night security checked it multiple times and flip […] the breaker but no change. He then sent up a fan and reported it to the front desk. Nothing was done about the A/C, no formal apology fo rthe discomfort this caused and no assistance from the staff or Director of Operations was offered at that time. They refused to assist me and inturn gave me a business card and said to send a email because they were busy and did not have time to speak with me. I believe I was just as a valued customer as the others and was "blown" off. This did not show professionalism nor a positive representation on behalf of the Marriot Hotel.. This hotel went above to serve my family during our stay. Our room that we thought we were going to get was unavailable so we were upgraded, at no extra charge, to a top floor room. The type of room that requires a room key in the elevator to access the floor. My family was very impressed with the room. The maid brought up an extra bed, changed the […] sheets on the hideaway bed and turned down all the beds. It was the most amazing hotel and the service was great. If you go to Houston, stay here!! It look to be a lil older but nice .... I think tha bar area could use a lil work

Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent mattress and linens. Like the fact that the A/C is at the ceiling level. Many hotels I stay in have floor-level units that blow hot/cold air in your face. Caveats: parking and internet are not typically included in the price. Parking garage is a walk (inside the hotel) from the lobby / main elevators.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. It was luxurious and wonderful to come back to at the end of the day. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely add breakfast when you make your reservation. It is costly otherwise. We had dinner in the bar one night and the food was very good.

It charges you for parking, internet access, no breakfast. With too many choices and the same quality of bed, it does not make much sense to pay for it

Friendly and helpful hotel staff. One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. Exercise room had brand new equipment. Pool area was nice, also. Excellent freeway access. Close to Galleria mall and some very nice restaurants. Will definitely stay there the next time I travel to Houston.

My husband, myself, and our three children stayed for two days. The only problem we had is that our bathtub was not very clean, but after I told the front desk, they immediately corrected the problem, and it was clean before we got back from breakfast. The breakfast was good, but you should get it included with your room if you are traveling as a family, […] or it may seem pretty steep. If you have a van with a high top, you will not want to park in their garage, but our Caravan got through just fine. Staff was wonderful and gave us an upgrade and several meal comps. They have plans posted in the lobby to redo the rooms which will include flat panel TV's.
