This hotel is definitely outdated and shabby! The front desk was not very helpful when asked any questions about the area and also about the Marriott rewards program. Would not stay there in the future.

We were on a college visit trip and the hotel was close to both Georgetown and Howard.

Good location. Has all the amenities. However, the beds were very soft and so were the pillows. Had a very difficult time sleeping because they gave us 2 double size beds. They should have firmer mattresses!!! I have a bad back and this did not help.

Such a great place to stay and the staff was really nice! There were some minor things with the hotel that were a bit awkward like the toilet seat not being tightened and almost falling in every time - but hey - everything else was pretty much perfect! Great location, great service and a comfy clean bed/towels/room every night! Definitely stay here […] because it is close to Georgetown, Dupont Circle and the metro station to go around DC! 더 보기

Abolutely great location. Only problem was with the cleaning of the room after 4:00pm.

Very accommodating. Helpful staff. Clean. Two nice local restaurants conveniently located right around the corner from the hotel. My daughter loved the indoor pool. Best of all, NO evidence of bedbugs! I check. ( If you want to learn how to check, google How To Check For Bedbugs In Hotels.)

Staff were excellent! Young reservation clerk evening of 12/15/11 (sorry i don't recall her name), was the greatest. She helped us with detailed information and timing to get to an event on time. It was a very busy evening, she made us feel as important as anyone else at the hotel. We had a great time and would love to return to DC and would stay again […] at he Marriott. 더 보기

The only bad item was no free computer to use to look up hotels and restaurants

The Marriott was located conveniently enough. Short walk to Georgetown, bit longer to the Mall, etc. All of the staff were really nice. They have the best beds ever!

OK...not great but totally OK. A little far from the DC highlights but nothing overly terrible.

Easy walk to Dupont Circle or Foggy Bottom metro stations. Only complaint - housekeeping did not clean our room or give us new towels on second day. We had the Do Not Disturb sign out until we left the hotel at 1pm and when we returned about 12 hours later, housekeeping had never come. Very nice hotel and the staff was very helpful. The Metro is about four to five blocks away from hotel in Dupont Circle. Valet parking is about $$ a night. We had room service one morning (3 plates pancakes, 3 home fries, 3 juices, and coffee) about $$$$$. Nice walk to White House and all attractions. We would stay at this hotel again.

The room was a very nice size for the price and it being $th July weekend. It was close enough to everything thta i wanted and I would definately stay here again next time. The only down part was that the elevator took its time coming down to the lobby when called!

I found this hotel very convenient to what I wanted to see. Close to Foggy Bottom metro for access to Smithsonian Museums. Short 15 min walk to Georgetown restaurants/shopping. Nice neighborhood for walking.

I stayed here for four nights in May and had a totally fantastic stay! I was in town for a wedding that was being held nearby and shared the room with three others. I am an independent budget traveler and ended up staying here because of the location, and between two couples, the price was reasonable for a really nice hotel in an upscale neighborhood. […] I don't often stay at fancy hotels, so I totally loved the experience. There are two Metro stops within a few blocks, so getting around is easy. The Washington Marriott gets full points across the board - the room was excellent and we all enjoyed the hotel very much. The service there was superb, the staff was friendly, and I felt like a VIP for my graduation dinner held on site at the Atrium restaurant! Also, the hotel was only blocks from Dupont Circle (looks a lot further on the map). I will likely stay there next time I visit DC.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great, it's between Georgetown and Dupont Circle. The room was small, but very cozy. It was very clean and the service was excellent and friendly. I ordered room service a couple of times and the food was always nice and hot. I chose to park my car at the hotel and the parking area was extremely tight, […] I was somewhat concerned about my car getting scratched or dinged. Besides that, it was a very pleasant stay. 더 보기

This hotel was listed as an affiliated hotel to the National Marathon and we selected it thinking it would offer something that would be helpful to race participants with getting to and from the marathon or some kind of benefit for staying there. It wasn't near the start/finish line, didn't offer the ability to purchase metro tickets at the hotel, didn't […] offer shuttle service for runners or to have taxi's available and had a slightly higher rate to register through the race website than if we booked it via other means. Other than being named on the marathon website as an affiliated hotel it had nothing to do with the marathon. Our room was a business class room that supposedly had been recently renovated and was allegedly very quite. It was clean and had new furnishings but no tub, shower only and we could hear the person next door coughing most of the night. As a hotel, if it is near where you need to be it is just fine, but for our purpose we were disappointed. 더 보기

We had a lovely few days exploring Washington, DC. This hotel is so conveniently located to Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and many of the tourist sites (National Mall, White House, museums, etc.). It was very easy to get around from the hotel, and we found a wonderful restaurant within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice solid Marriott quality in an older facility. The vacant lot across the street is rather ugly. The room was a bit small but not claustrophobic. The staff was very pleasant. The bar area and service are nice as well. Not a lot of in-room amenities. The Metro and Georgetown are relatively convenient, as is George Washington University. My only complaint about the hotel is that the water pressure in the shower is terrible. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

I've stayed in many of the hotels in the immediate area and the Marriott was as good as any of them. The room was very nice and love the location near both Dupont Circle and Georgetown. Easy walk to the Metro. I'll stay there again.

I had stayed at another 5 star hotel for 5 nights before coming to the Marriott for my last 2 nights. It was much nicer and the people were more friendly. Highly recommended and will definitely stay there again when I'm in D.C.
