i have been here several times each time the stay was always pleasant,rooms clean and modern and most of all the beds are comfortable thats one of my main concerns when choiceing a hotel to stay at its in a cozy location close to everything and the price is very reasonable yes i would and am staying here again

the rooms very clean and the service was very good too and I would stay there again.

The hotel room was clean and the staff helpful. My only complaints were the design of the curtains keep the the AC from working well and the room was a little too warm. The other was that there were people who were loud early in the morning which woke us. Other than that it was fine and we'd stay there again.

Since we got there before the crowd you would think we would have gotten a tip top room. Instead we got a room with a connecting door to the next room. The person there must have been deaf because he/she had the TV on pretty loud. We had to turn ours on and match their noise so they would turn theirs down a bit. Door lock didn't work correctly, twice someone fixed it. Room was clean and acceptable. MAJOR PROBLEM I came to White Plains to do legal work, paying top dollar to work with a attorney.. your internet did not work most of the time.. Made completes, breakfast, lunch and dinner and during the night. Promised that IT would call me I NEVER LEFT THE ROOM […] and NO ONE called at all. Parking lot was nothing but POT HOLES great for my car. This would not be a hotel that I would return too. We first got put on the 3rd floor, which was the smoking floor. Smelled terribly with a light haze in the hallway, after which we asked for a room change. I was now put on the first floor, with a double bed room. Upon first inspection, the room looked clean and orderly, but upon use it wasn't so. The toilet was situated low enough for a grade school, […] upon flushing the toilet came to within an inch of the top and slowly went down. After hiding all my valuables, i left the room and pushed on the door to make sure it was locked, at which point the door would bend in a quarter inch, and sounded like it would break in half if i pushed any more. Upon getting in the shower i noticed mold in the caulk around the entire bathtub, and at the end of my shower i was standing in 6 inches of water that didn't drain. In the morning when i left my room for breakfast, i smelled stale smoke in the hallway. And across the hallway, i heard a dog barking in the room. Breakfast was probably the highlight of the stay at the hotel. The food was good and there was a reasonable assortment. 더 보기

Room had dirty contents left from previous users, AC didn't work and they couldn't accomodate us another room, staff handled food contents incorrectly, not personably at all to their customers.

It's a decent hotel if you're looking for a reasonable and pretty clean room. Not the greatest of locations but it'd decent.

I came to White Plains to take exam for two days, stayed in this hotel for two nights and this is a comfortable hotel at an average price. I ordered food from the nearby restaurants by phone after reviewing some restaurants' menus provided at the hotel (minimum $12 for free delivery), you can save any extra food in the refrigerator and reheat in the […] microwave as these two are provided in your hotel room, hence no problem for food; and early morning the hotel provides nice breakfast (with apples, tea/coffee, cup cakes), and the front desk of the hotel are very helpful and professional. I paid $15 one way from the hotel to the Pace Law School (around 6 miles) for taxi one way since there is no public transportation available from here, though first time one Chinese taxi driver charged $30 from the hotel to the Pace Law School taking advantage by looking at my new face. Hotel has a nice swimming pool though I didn't have enough time to use it as its timings are between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. I recommend this hotel to the students or employees who come for important meetings or exams etc., but if they have car or able to rent a car, this hotel is wonderful for you since you can expect silent atmosphere and accomplish attending your preplanned business meetings or scheduled exams etc. Happy Stay. 더 보기

Staff were friendly and relatively attentive. Room was clean, although the mattress was lumpy. Very useful tip: once you get the room close to the temperature you want, turn off the heating/cooling unit. The rooms are fairly well insulated and will keep the same temperature all night. If, however, you leave the unit on, it will LOUDLY cycle on and off […] all night long as it attempts to maintain the temperature at whatever exact setting you had it set at. If you are a light sleeper, this will wake you multiple times a night. I turned the unit off and while it may have gotten a couple of degrees cooler, I was rewarded with a good night's sleep. Not enough staff on duty to help w/requests. Eg. needed extra towels and shampoo. Front desk person alone and couldn't locate housekeeping at all. Never received what we needed.

First, I had no idea that they allow dogs. One room on our floor had 4 dogs in it. I don't want barking at a hotel. Second, the pool was not accessible because the lock on the door did not work and the management knew about this for at least 24 hours (according to the woman at the desk). Third, staff seemed annoyed to be working there and dealing with […] guests (with the exception of the manager, who was there on the second day). Fourth, I could not access WIFI. No one on site could help me. Fifth, the set up of the place was extraordinarily awkward. We had to take two separate elevators to access the lobby and breakfast area and also walk a great distance -- hard on my husband who has a bad hip. We've often stayed at a Marriott Courtyard nearby and have had a far nicer stay. We switched it up for a change but will be happy to run back to the Marriott. YUCK is my opinion of La Qunita! 더 보기

so i was up in white plains for some work. the hotel service was great up until the last night when i had a problem with my keycard. the doors in the back would not respond to it, so natrally i had to go get it recoded or a new card. i get to the lobby and there are unsupervised childred microwaving pizza and no one at the front desk. i pay no mind […] the sign on the desk read that the clerk would be back soon, sorry for the inconvinience. i was slightly entertained by the wild screaming children for 10 minutes. then 20, almost 25 minutes later finnally the children went away and the clerk had shown up, no biggie just needed a card. otherwise a successful trip. thanks 더 보기

I requested a non smoking room due to an asthmatic child and guess what I got stuck with a smoking room Whose fault ?? Hotels.com or the Actually hotel I will never knew everyone played the it wasnt me game.

Great hotel for the price. It had the 4 C's. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and cheap. What more could you ask for?

I travel frequently for business and had never stayed at a La Quinta and can assure you I will not be staying at another one. Upon arrival they put me in a room that had a broken sink that had flooded the bathroom and entrance of the room. gross. I tried calling down to the front desk three times. no answer. So I had to bring all of my stuff down with […] me to be sent back up to another room that was then locked and my key wouldn't work. Front desk still wasn't answering their phone (even though they were standing right there) so I had to go back down and ask for help. His suggestion was "the maids must have slammed the door. try jiggling the handle up". ok... traipsed back up to the room with all of my bags and got in the room to find that the garbage hadn't been emptied so the room smelled like McDonald's. GROSS. I called down (shock they picked up!) to tell them to come get the trash (which they didn't do until the morning). Out of pure exhaustion I gave up and stayed there fully clothed in case the sheets had been 'forgotten' to be changed as well. Absolutely don't stay here if you can avoid it!! The requests that I sent when I booked the room could not be read on the screen when we checked in. The overworked desk attendant assigned us to a room that was already occupied which we discovered when we entered the room. The corridors were littered and carpets stained. Barking dogs heard from some rooms. Bathroom smelled like mold. Pouring some bleach […] down the drains and changing the shower curtain would be a start. Overall experience gross. Good location and very affordable. I was OK with the service though, we originally went to check in and the manager said they didn't have any clean rooms available yet. At the time it was no big deal as we went sight seeing, but when we came back 3 hours later it was the same situation. Not only that but now there was a long line of people waiting […] at the check in desk all waiting to get a room. It was very chaotic. Alot of unhappy people inline and hanging out in the lobby. My wife was not happy. For the price it was worthwhile- you get what you pay for. The location was great and I was fine with my experience there. 더 보기

Met My Business money Alment for my room

This place is conveniently located if you plan on visiting NYC by car. It is a good alternative if you don't want to spend as much for a hotel room as in the city. We also liked that it had a breakfast buffet. The cleanliness of the room seemed o.k. when we opended the door. However, as soon as we were in the room we noticed a couple of things: it […] smelled strange and all the trashcans in the room were not empty. There was a used visitor's badge on one of the beds, and the floor in bathroom wasn't very clean either. In the bathroom we found the soap bar of the person who stayed here before in a paper cup and even in the shower was a used soap bar. In addition to that there was no hairdryer in the room. The beds were very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for this type of hotel. Everything was clean, continental breakfast was pretty good and included DIY waffles. My only negative was that they didn't have sufficient towels at the pool.

My overall stay was fine but, it could have been improved if the Hotel employees were nore attentative. On two seperate occations, there were no towels in the Pool area. Both times I had to go to the front desk and request towels. Only once did they actually bring towels and it took them over and hour. My other issues involved the room. There was […] no channel Lineup which would have been helpful to someone like myself who is unfamiliar with Dish Network. In addition, there wasn's a welcome book in the room. I like to use this book to find local restaurants and attractions. I asked about local restaurants art the front desk and was given verbal directions but, how hard would it be to printout directions to local restaurants and have them available for guests. I 더 보기

The rooms and hallways smelled so strongly of old & new cigarette smoke.

best rate around, and a good location. Easy access, and the included breakfast was a really pleasant surprise! It was much better than anticipated, or written on the websites. The waffle machine pushed it over the edge!

Very clean, compared to the other La Quinta(Stamford). Very quite, and comfortable, would stay there again. Room smelled very good.

No problems .... Just one point, nice pool but the hour are 9a - 7p and Check in is at 4p & check out 11a doesn't give much time to use it. Hours need to 7a to 10p like other motels.

Hotel room was clean but this was a very old hotel - probably built 40 years ago and looked it. The staff was nice and there was nothing specific to complain about but this is not the type of hotel I usually stay at

If you have a pet and need to be in the Elmsford area (about 30 min drive by car to NYC)... this is a good hotel. The front desk people aren't the most welcoming... but you get what you pay for on that aspect (I doubt the front desk people get more than $8/hr... so don't expect them to be gushing upon your arrival). But the rooms are clean and it's […] a well built building on an incline.... so it's highly unlikely you (or your car) will be flooded if you are escaping a flood disaster. It is pet/child friendly... so if you don't have a pet/child... expect to have certain odors throughout the hotel.... if you do have canine or feline children... then you won't notice it. The pool is well kept and restaurants are not far away. Overall.... it's a well run hotel. (the manager just needs to get more friendly, well spoken people working the front desk) But don't pass up this hotel if you need a local place in the central Westchester area. 더 보기

Good place to go if your just in town for 2 days wish the pool was open pass 7 pm didn't get a chance to go to the pool, service was alright we had to change rooms cause it smelled like some one was smoking and then tried to cover it up with a lemon spray, first night there noisey even til 6;30 in the am a baby was screaming her head off at in the morning […] but besides that it's an alright spot to hang out only for the weekend. 더 보기
