총평 : 중급 호텔 치고는 꽤 괜찮은 곳이었습니다. *위치 뉴올리언스 시청, 도서관을 길 건너편에 두고 있으며, 인근 블럭에는 금융가가 인접해있음. (서울시청 앞 플라자 호텔 같은 위치) * 음식 아침식사가 뷔페(평범한 수준의 서양인 식단) 또는 선택메뉴로 제공, 점심, 저녁 식사는 9~19달러 사이에서 선택 가능.(TAX, tip, 음료 미포함 가격) 참고로 19달러 짜리 sirloin steak는 드시지 마시기를. 오래된 고기로 요리하는지 기분나쁜 피 맛이 느껴졌고, 집어던지고 싶을 정도로 맛 없었습니다. * 청결 객실 청결 상태는 good!!! 에어컨도 한기를 느낄 정도로 잘 나옴. 다만, 더운지방이라 그런지 […] 객실이 다소 습하다는 점은 단점. * 주변지역 접근성 뉴올리언스를 대표하는 관광지역인 French Quarter 까지도 도보로 20분 이내에 갈 수 있음. Morial convention center까지는 걷기에 다소 부담스러운 거리. 도보 30~40분... 걷다가 더워서 죽을 뻔 했습니다(교통편 이용하세요). * 치안 치안 유지는 괜찮은 편이라 생각됩니다. 특히 French Quarter에는 두 블럭에 한 번 씩 경찰을 만날 수 있음. 불행하게도 일정 중인 2011년 5월 19일 자정 무렵, 멀지 않은 곳에서 총격전이 일어나 불안했습니다. 몇 발 발사가 아니라, 최소한 20여 발 이상을 주고 받는 수준의 총격전이었습니다. TV에도 "emergency alarm : bla bla~ 어디어디 street에는 가지 마라, 지금도 진행중이다" 이 총격전 경험 빼고는 만족할 만한 수준의 호텔이네요. 더 보기

We have always stayed in the french quarter, but we will come back here. There art collection is great, The steak was great. Ribs were great. There is a lot of noise from street construction right now, but dont let that discourage your stay.

Great hotel I thought. The only complaint I had was our air conditioner was a little noiser than what it should be but we reported it to have it fixed. Room was updated, clean, and people were friendly and helpful Within walking distance to Superdome and French quarter.

It was great, but too bad about construction. We know the end product will be better.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Appreciated the ride to the Cruise Terminal even if the bus was 30 minutes late. We were VERY disappointed that there was a charge for parking. We had booked through Hotels.Com under their Park and Cruise section. Location Location Location!!!! The hotel is close by the Superdome, short walk to Bourbon Street, Harrah's Casino, and many of the other sights in New Orleans. Pool is Nice Also on the 8th Floor.

Great location, one disappointment, they no longer offer a shuttle service to the French Quarter. Also, the Hotel charges $25 a day for parking.

We came for the Rock and Roll Marathon and upon check in things went down hill. I registered for a double bed and received a single bed. Someone did bring in a cot but no blanket. I called down for a blanket three times before one came. We stayed in this hotel for three days and four nights and the room was not cleaned ONCE. We call on several occasions […] for extra towels and we did not receive them. One day, we did not have hot water. When eating in the hotel resturant, the food was ok but the coffee was barely warm. Overall I'd say my memory of this hotel is 'adequate' for the price. Service is all round slow, from front desk to restaurant service to the luggage and support. Rooms are ok - clean but not sparkling - lots of sirens day and night. Nice enough people but I was not overwhelmed by their welcome. We will look at other hotels next trip through but would […] stay here again if we got a bargain price and were just crashing between flights. We found that service and speed are not the order of the day in any of the three hotels we stayed at in New Orleans this trip. Perhaps it is just how things are there? The other two were in closer to the French Quarter and so more convenient and had more character than this one. This hotel is being "updated." In the process, the room they gave me had two washbasins, both with clogged drains, and there was no hot water the first morning of my stay. Half-finished hallways on our floor were also a distraction. The new room layout and improved room lighting are good, but not being able to take a shower in the morning was a mood-killer. Installation […] of the new streetcar line outside my window also was noisy and distracting, but only during the daytime. Only a 5 minute walk to Bourbon St. and Mardi Gras parades. Superdome within spittin distant distance. Very clean, safe hotel. Very quiet, and very friendly staff.

Perfect location for the Superdome events! The hotel is still under transformation; but it was not disturbing to us.........the only problem is the elevators were a little slow b/c workers were also using them-----but that is just something that any hotel would have to deal with also.... It had nothing to do with the staff or workers, etc... LOVE the […] huge desk area in room! We had a food "lay out" for our tailgating friends and it was the perfect ambiance! Ice chests with drinks under the "desk/counters" and foods on top! Plus, we were not expecting a refrigerator and microwave in the room-----but had one! So all liquors, etc. were in the refrigerator........ A new Rouse's grocery store is just a few blocks away, so we took advantage of that to pick up some last minute dips, chips and soft drinks.... Perfect for people who travel and don't want to haul food with them; the store is very conveniently located --- you can see it from the balcony! We stayed when the hotel was booked for the UL-Lafayette Championship Game----and we found a parking place even though the hotel was booked! The Holiday Inn Downtown New Orleans was perfect for my trip. Access to Superdome, as well as French Quarters. Hotel was completely booked, but services were excellent and hotle was clean.

Absolutely great hotel. Stayed for Sugar Bowl. 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street...5 minutes to the Superdome. Clean room, smelled good, nice restaurant. No complaints. Will definitely book at this hotel again if I return to the Big Easy!

I book this hotel frequently when i stay ion NOLA for the saints/hornets game games.It is a very short walk to the arenas. It had been newly remodeled and furnished the past year or two and everything in the rooms is brand new. The beds are very comfortable with choices of soft and firm pillows. The location of the Hotel was great. Staff was friendly, helpful. We were in N.O. to attend the New Orleans Bowl football game and had a great time. We tailgated in the hotel!!!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn during Bayou Classic and it was located close enough to everything we needed it to be. Comfortable beds, very clean and a very nice staff. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel shuttle made the whole stay fanatastic! The shuttle runs on the hour and drops you off at all of the main attractions. You just call and let them know where you need to be picked up, and they're on the way (on the hour). The room smelled a little moldy from the air conditioner. I just opened the door every now and then to let some "fresh air" […] in. The Staff was extremely helpful when answering questions about the area. The hotel maid service where not thorough and because i needed a hotel room i decided to stay. also the food was not that great

Hotel was nice. The room was nice, still has some oldschool look to it, but overall was nice. Its about 4-5 blocks away from Bourbon St. No close by restaurants or stores. The courtesy van had no AC:(, takes forever to get picked up.

This Hotel is in a very convient location. It is close to everything that a first time visitor would like to see. It close to restaurants and the restaurant in the lobby even has great food. The front desk people are great and friendly this is a definate place to stay when anyone visits New Orleans.

The hotel was great for one night. We arrived one night early for the Essence Festival and wanted a place to crash. Staff was friendly and warm. Toilet didn't work at first, but they fixed it right away

The front desk service did not like me, pay a reservation for 3 people with breakfast and went with it was just for two. corridors smelled of old ... Room clean but small beds

Stated online that there was a free airport shuttle but when we got there they told us that they didn't have that. The elevators very very rough riding. Hotel was being inspected for renovations. Door to outside balcony didn't work very well. Be prepared before you pick this hotel. No free breakfast. No laundry room in the entire hotel. Will have to pay a taxi to get to the nearest laundry room. Also your being ripped off for parking. $22.00 a night. Front desk has bad customer service sometimes and can be really rude. Great location until it gets dark. Have to be really carefull.

You pay extra for the breakfast expecting that to include all people you have specified, but no. Only two. Luckily, the restaurant staff took care of that for us...

The Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome is convenient to transportation in New Orleans, with the AMTRAK station 0.5 mile away, about the same distance to the tram system and 200m to the terminus of the E2 Airport bus route. Hotel was clean and value for money. Would stay again.

The staff were helpful and courteous, but the free hourly shuttle did not run on schedule. It left early once, so we missed it, and it ran late the second time, so walking would have been faster. There are still 1-2 blocks of gutted buildings and ongoing renovation, so the neighborhood is not good for walking at night.
