호텔 헬베티 (Hotel Helvetie) - 몽트뢰

밤늦게 역에 내려 찾아갔지만 쉽게 찾았습니다. 직원들도 친절해서 좋았습니다. 오래된 건물이라 시설은 조금 낡았지만 그런 멋도 있어 좋았습니다.

The Hotel Helvetie is a Victorian delight, right on the main street in Montreux. The staff is efficient and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The room I had was very clean and comfortable, but anyone who doesn't appreciate antiques and the kind of issues old buildings have may not enjoy this place as much as I. Cute little hotel, across from the Casino. We had a nice view of the lake and the Alps. It's quite a walk to the train station though because you have to go uphill. The staff does not speak English well, so you might have some trouble communicating, but there is nothing in Montreux you can't figure out on your own. The hotel is very old . It scared me at the first time I saw the room since I m not much antique-like person.the reception is very helpful explain everything . The location is not far from the shopping street the Geneva lake and thain station( about 10 mins walk:uphill) the Internet can be used in lobby only. Breakfast is good.

Although I was aware from the reviews I read that the hotel might be in need of refurbishment. I was still nervous when I walked to my room; it felt as if going to to a dungeon; dark and very long corridor, and I found it difficult to locate the light switch. The room itself was pleasant enough, with a nive view over the casino and lake. The shower […] room was unfortunately one of these tiny molded pink all in one room thing with a separate toilet. I would have expected some toiletries or at least some soap to wash my hands. Overall, the hotel is fair for the price, the room is clean, staff friendly enough and the breakfast was good. Wonderful location with convenient public transportation right outside the door. Old hotel but has been maintained okay. We luckily got upgraded to a junior suite which was a very large room with small balcony. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. While these are pluses the negatives are: breakfast lacked imagination and that was the only meal […] served; and no bar. This hotel is very costly when you calculate taxes and parking fees. We spent two enjoyable nights at Hotel Helvetie in October, 2011. Our room and bathroom on the 3rd floor, though both very tiny and very simple, served our purposes well - to relax in a clean space on the Swiss Riviera. We had a lovely little balcony that allowed us to gaze out on the streetscape of Montreux, the beautiful Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) and […] the gorgeous snow-covered Alps beyond. The crisp, lily-white linens and Swiss duvets on our bed made for dreamy, restful sleeps. The breakfast room, also overlooking the street and lake, was airy, spacious and so old-world European, and the food (included in the room price) was so plentiful and delicious and served on pristine, white starched tablecloths. A heavenly, inexpensive retreat in a gorgeous setting, with very friendly staff. A few steps walk from the beautiful boardwalk around the Swiss shore of Lake Geneva. Not the newest hotel, but definitely friendly, helpful and clean. Nice high ceilings. PLENTY of ROOM. Good breakfast with attentive hostesses and enough places so you don't have to wait. Free internet in the lobby.

The hotel provided relatively good service, has a very nice character, but unfortunately is a bit run down and is desperate need of refurbishment. The buffet brakefast was a little basic for my liking as it is my main meal while I am on holiday. The hotel also was very well located and was with walking distance of the lake, shops, casino (for those […] who gamble), and the train station. However there was no place for people to be dropped off or collected by car which is bit of a drawback especially for those commuting by car. 더 보기

Very good! Friendly staffs. The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but appropriate. Location was not bad, you can reach the hotel on foot as well as by bus if you can find #201 bus on the below street (You can access the street by escalator just in front of the station). The only problem is using internet. You can use internet only at […] the robby, not in the room. Lake view was impossible, but the lake was within 5 minutes walk. Great value hotel, 1 minute from centre of Montreux, Great price that included continental breakfast. Rooms comfortable and god standard. Would highly recommend this hotel as a great value,3 start hotel. No bar in the evenng though !

The hotel is satisfactory, the breakfast is satisfactory, but the location (unless you wish to frequent the one-block away casino) is a bit distant from the railroad station and restaurants. Also, it's not on the beach and doesn't (at least, our room didn't) have a view of Lake Geneve.

Amazing hotel, with the ambience of an old building. Modern from the front, 70's feel from the inside. Wooden furniture and hi-tech 50" plasma TV, a wonderful combination! The hotel's doorstep is a bus-station and very easily accessible. Would not really recommend this hotel, am sure there are other better ones around the area. Staff were not particularly friendly. Our room was big and clean but very old. The floor boards made so much noise when you walked on them, I felt sorry if there was anyone in a room beneath us!

The hotel is very convenient in terms of location, being just 100m away from Lake Geneva. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wish I could have stayed a little longer.

Excellent and able to book in at 13.00 so had a great afternoon around Montreux. Montreux Riveriera card is most useful for local travel and sightseeing.

We were thrilled with our stay at the Helveti. This is a hotel built in 1865 which is in very good condition and will appeal to those of us who like old buildings, beautiful woodwork and antiques. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We sat out and snacked on the small balcony with views of Lake Geneva in one direction and the alps in another. Beds […] were comfortable. They have a wonderful european style breakfast included in the morning with waiters, white table cloths, wonderful breads, cheeses, cereals, fruits and juices and excellent coffee. Only eggs are hard boiled eggs. We would definitely stay here on any future visit to Montreux. They give you a card on checking in that gives you unlimited rides on the trams and 50% discount on most local attractions. Reception clerks were very helpful and spoke good english. Only negatives I can think of, is internet works only in lobby, not in rooms and the "shower" is an wand in the bathtub that is attached at about my belt level. This hotel was an unexpected treat for my wife and me, as it was also the least expensive hotel in town without going to a hostel. 더 보기

Hotellet ligger sentralt i Montreux, men nær hovedgate. Noe trafikkbråk gjennom gamle vinduer. Gammelt hotell med trange ganger, sannsynligvis med etasjeskiller av tre (med tanke på eventuelt brannsikkerhet). Nymalte rom, men gammel innredning. Bra senger og ok renhold. Bra standard på frokost. Prisen var bra i forhold til beliggenhet og standard.

Hotel d'un autre age tres depassé ,en travaux lors de notre séjour.

Hôtel d'époque dont le cachet a été conservé grâce à des rénovations judicieuses. On a l'impression d'être au 19ème siècle avec tout le confort actuel.

Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel, central gelegen, sauber u schöne Zimmer. Das Personal ist freundlich u zuvorkomend.

arrivés à 14h45 on nous annonce la chambre 420. elle n'est pas prête ! nous revenons à 15h15. n'est elle tjrs pas prête ? on nous donne la 129 qui n'est plus au 4ème vue sur lac mais au 1er vue sur un avant-toit ! les parquets étant ancien nous avons entendu marcher sur nos têtes toute la nuit. hiltbrand.
