I live in Denver but needed to spend a few days away as my home was being renovated. The staff were friendly, the view of downtown was great, the internet worked well and resturant on site was helpfull.

Rooms are very small, the restaraunt/bar at the top is very nice and friendly

Very disappointed overall in the hotel. It received three stars but did not meet that standard at all.

Didn't know what to expect, but the location was what I needed. Lobby area was very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. The actual room, quite a disappointment! Bed and bedding VERY cheap and dated. Was a little nervous to actually sleep under the covers! Carpet was worn and stale.

The lobby of the hotel smelled so strong of air freshener that it was sickening, several floors smelled overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. Rooms were small but adequate, restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner with a fabulous view of the city. Staff were very nice and helpful, shuttle was terrific!

Although the description, picture, etc. on the original advertisement for HOTEL VQ was just a bit misleading, this hotel is, in fact, a good place to stay for the money. It is not a new hotel however - it was probably THE place to stay back in the day but is really what I would call "old school". The hotel lobby is beautiful but the rooms are in need of renovation. The bed we slept in dipped at the head area making it very uncomfortable and the bedding looks like it's 20years old.....Hotel VQ needs an upgrade into this millennium!

Visit to Denver for hockey game, had a great stay the staff was very friendly shuttle to downtown/pepsi center/back to hotel was convenient!! Thanks Larry the shuttle driver for everything. Room Service was amazing. Close to Pepsi Center not a far walk to downtown would definitely recommend and stay again on our next trip to Denver :)

The employees were rude. Check in time was well over 45 minutes. We paid way too much for that room. We were very unsatisfied and would not stay at this hotel again.

We enjoyed the fact the hotel had a view, dark curtains, late check out free shuttle, pretty front desk girl, a free tube of toothpaste and free parking. We didn't like the urine stains running down the toilet base,the hair stuck to the back of the bathroom hair drier and the shuttle quitting @ 11pm. The taxi from the Pepsi Center was only $10. Good value with easy access to downtown or freeway system. Pleasant view from 14th floor of downtown at night.Shuttle service a bonus to downtown.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff I talked to was friendly. I especially enjoyed the complimentary shuttle. Saved me from trying to find parking downtown. Enjoyed my stay!

This hotel is affordable and you really do get a little more than you pay for. Great view if you ask for it next door to football stadium and about 5 min from downtown denver. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful, and the food in the restaurant, while more expensive than a regular cafe or "street" restaurant, was convenient and tasty. The top floor restaurant and bar have a great view of the city. The room was comfortable and clean, even though some of the furnishings are showing some age. Hotel VQ was a great value for the cost. Very conveniently located to the Pepsi Center, where we were attending the State Wrestling Tournament for 3 days. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Hotel shuttle was convenient, easy to use, and saved us some money on parking.

Right next door to Mile High/Sports Authority Field. Convenient shuttle service to Pepsi Center and points downtown. Don't get a room facing the highway. Lots of road noise and train whistles. The hotel is crap, but the location is great. There was a tailgate party going on for the playoff game in our parking lot. Can't beat the shuttle that will take you where ever you want. Don't expect luxury and you won't be let down.

The staff were very professional and curtious. The biggest issue I seen was the dirty hallway carpet the beds were totally worn out and the elevator broke down . If the owners of the VQ would update the carpet install new beds and repair the elevators once and for all I think the customers would come. Booked here as an alternative to expensive downtown Denver hotels during a trade show. Glad that Bronco's season was over or this would have been a nightmare as the hotel sits in the parking lot of the stadium. Rooms were a little worn, probably due to post game partying. First night was horrible. I was given a room facing downtown and the freeway, […] The traffic noise, especially trucks, between 1am and 6am was brutal. Don't accept a room on the East side. Staff was very cooperative on switching rooms next morning. West side was significantly quieter until the trash truck showed up one morning at 6:30am........... Free shuttle to convention center, $10 cab rides back. Wireless was pretty slow for this day and age. I might stay here again, but wouldn't recommend it. 더 보기

Loud... Right by the highway

VQ was old and junky. In dire need of an update or remodel altogether.

Really run down rooms. Beautiful view of the city.

I have to say this hotel was a complete disappointment! The lobby was the ONLY thing in the building that seemed to be updated. The rooms are terrible and outdated. The beds were UNCOMFORTABLE. The bed linens were stained. The tv was OLD. Thankfully I brought my own linens and Lysol b/c I was NOT about to sleep on those linens. The bathroom was a bit […] larger than a port-a-potty. And the entrance into the room was barely wide enough to push the cart into it! The top level was considered the restaurant with the name "Skybox"...but it too was old and outdated. It was to have a sportsbar appeal to it, but with all the old TV's in there, it was NOTHING like the sports bar you are accustomed to. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I was totally misled by the photos and the reviews. Anyone that has stayed there should feel the same way I did about my stay. 더 보기

Restaurant and bar on top floor very convenient although pricey. One of the two elevators was inoperable, but they opened the service elevator for guests. Room was a bit small, but location made it all worthwhile. Could use some updating and an exhaust fan in bathroom.

The hotel location was very convenient to the stadium and amusement park. The Hotel itself had some issues including only one working elevator and some mustiness inside the room from what appeared to be some spills. The pillows were also a bit uncomfortable in that they appeared slightly overused since they were almost flat.

The windows are drafty and the beds are wore out!

My wife and I were forced, unexpectedly, in the middle of our two week holiday vacation, to spend more than one week in Denver. We searched online for decent hotels at acceptable prices and ended up deciding upon the Hotel VQ. The room was unexciting, but clean and comfortable. The heater was hit and miss, leaving our room temperature anywhere between […] 50 and 65 degrees. Due to either our unpredictable schedule of leaving the room or staying in all day, the maids neglected to maintain our room for at least 3 days, which was a little frustrating. A definite pro for this hotel, however, was the view of downtown Denver at night from the 14th floor bar/restaurant. Ultimately I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for quiet comfort as opposed to lush extravagence. 더 보기

The hotel rooms are plain and old. The heating system was hot and would not turn down.

I think we could of got a way better room at motel 6

Pleasantly surprised. Will stay again, staff excellent,room clean , bed was great.

Dirty. I cannot recommend this hotel. I checked in went into my room and checked right out. I had to find a new hotel for the night.
