Good location for Light Rail and good quality as a good price. However, not the best hotel. (Some broken equipments, serious ants, etc...) It's a good choice for cost effective and trasfortation effective manners.

Overall my was nice and convenience. The room was comfortable and for the most part clean. There's a wonderful garden and pool on the property. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Valley Metro Rail System which takes you right into downtown Phoenix. The staff was professional however I needed a 4am wake-up call for which I never received. […] They have free internet and a business center located in the lobby area. +Love the hotel, deco has been updated, nice flat screen, great bedding. - The towels are super thin and very dingy, replace them with something of decent quality and please use "BLEACH" so they are at least white. Same thing to be said about sheets. Also very little if not any Shampoo, Lotion, etc.. We were there for 4 nights with 1 sample package […] (not little bottle) of shampoo. You can't beat the price, location is central to Phoenix, I just wish the Hotel doesn't let it slide for the little things 더 보기

our ac did not work we burn on the morning checking in security was terrriable the hallways smell of funk miscommunicate on breakfast hours we didn't stay but 1 night and 2 days and was charge for 3.

Carpeting is deplorable. Sleep number bed in room lost air, and I slept on a deflated mattress. So-called "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. Easy to see why Raddison cut it loose. Low priced, and not anywhere near worth even that.

We stayed with our 3 kids for 2 nights. The pool was great, but that was the only good thing. Our bath tub was clogged, there was coffee but no coffee pot, the hair dryer was missing, the sleep number beds were not working, the carpets were dirty, and the parking was confusing. We were told that breakfast was included, but breakfast is only free for […] 2 people, so we had to pay for the kids. The breakfast was not anything special. I couldn't find the coffee, they were out of milk and the toaster didn't work. Would not stay there again. 더 보기

I had a wonderful stay, the hotel was very nice and all of the staff was very helpful.

The hotel is fine. Don't look for luxury and have a plan to eat somewhere else. Food was way overpriced and a Denny's meal would have been better. Not a lot of good choices nearby when you need to grab something and get back to your room for work. I probably would not stay again based on value for price.

The room was very nice. They did not have my reservation on file at the front desk and were not in a hurry to find it. Waited an half hour before getting checked in. Breakfast buffet was good but they were under staffed. One person bringing food, plates and silverware. They were constantly out of something.

It was an ok place. the condition of the room, it was dirty. The room that was reserved for us was preoccupied so they gave us another room. the door key wouldn't work. The towels looked dirty.

Negatives; We were upgraded to a suite which I was quite pleased with until I reached the room. The suites are located on the 5th floor with their own private courtyard area w/ a pool. The pool obviously has been neglected, there were only 2 towels left on the shelf and were never restocked during our entire visit. The pool was a little murky and looked […] as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Most of the lamps were not plugged in at our room. They had a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee for guests, unfortunately there was only Decaf available our entire 2 night stay. They never seemed to restock the regular coffee. Positives; The exterior and lobby interior were very nice, I wasn't surprised though since it used to be a Radisson Hotel. The main pool downstairs was amazing! Looked like a smaller version of a Las Vegas pool. They had a Beach volleyball area and jungle gym for kids. The hotel was a decent place to stay but honestly I do not think I would stay there again. I was just felt they did not put enough effort into this place once they took it over from Radisson. Kinda sad since it has GREAT potential. 더 보기

Was less than I hoped for considering the the customer ratings. Was just average, not the cleanest, amenities were nonexistent (unless you include the bottle of Costco water). Very tired looking.

I can't believe I have to write a negative review. I've never needed it do it before. We we're in Phoenix to watch 3 baseball games. We are a family, a very liberal, live and let live family. The hotel isn't a Radison as our reservation stated so we had a hard time finding it, No Problem. The problem was there was a Gay/Lesbian/Cross Dressing/ Bondage […] weekend long convention going on at the same time. No Problem - except an occasion man wearing nothing but a leather bikini, studs and leashes during daylight hours in common area's or the loud, drunken , profanity strewn brawls in parking lot, again during daylight hours. We left after 2 nights of no sleep and usually only 1 working elevator with long, long waits because we had a handicapped person unable to walk up 6 flights of stairs ( the only option as another room wasn't available ) We lost the cost of our 3rd nights stay but as we weren't going to get any sleep anyway we decided to drive straight through the night after the last baseball game. We met many Gays, Lesbians and Cross Dressers that were a joy to be staying with, but the hotel is SHABBY, LOUD and IN SERIOUS DISREPAIR and didn't seem to care that a few obscene party goers were disrupting the entire hotel. 더 보기

Unfortunately, we were not there for partying. I was attending a semiar that was booked at the hotel, and it started the next morning at 7:30 AM, and I required a good night's sleep. However, there was a very loud party going on through the night, and then there were loud noises coming from the cooler in the room. Had I been informed of the situation […] in advance, I would have booked elsewhere. We were not able to use the outdoor garden pool area or enjoy the hotel, as there were pool party attendees crowded everywhere, and the garden pool was off limits for those not attending this function. The hotel furnishings are dated and not as nice as neighboring hotels that I've stayed at.

Nice hotel, clean rooms. Kids loved the pool. One of the elevators wasn't working properly, and being on the 5th floor made it an inconvenience. Complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels I've been to.

Rooms (at least my room) had a hole in the carpet and never quite smelled clean (always faintly moldy). Breakfast is good but rooms need major update.

We have been there on 2 separate occassions and we really loved our stay. The staff is so accomadating and knowledgable. We would highly reccomend it. Being that close to the medical facilities made it that much easier for my husband to get around.

Breakfast buffet was nice. Only problem was shower wouldn't drain easily and business computer wouldn't print out my boarding pass. Informed front desk but not neither was fixed during stay.

The hotel looked fine from the outside and in the lobby, but the halls were grungy, the bed (a Select Comfort) was missing the pad that goes inside under the zip top (we have one so I know what I'm talking about!!) and the towels were like drying with washcloths -- thin and threadbare. Okay, the price was good and that's why we booked it, but we really […] booked it because it was a "Radison" and was in a good part of town. But, we wouldn't stay again. When we went on hotels.com we booked the Radisson when we arrived we couldn't find the Radisson and found out that it was now called The Phoenix place hotel and Suites. The hotel is ok you can see it has been a little neglected. The pool was freezing and pieces of the waterfall we in the pool, the glass tables in the pool area were very dirty you can […] see they hadn't been cleaned in a while, and the lights in the area were not working. Although the last day we were there you could see they were starting to clean up the area and make repairs. The garden area is so beautiful and peaceful. The free continental breakfast was great and the staff very nice. As for the area not the best, we never had issues but we didn't really stay in the area or walk around. 더 보기

I booked this hotel when I thought it was a Radisson, when I checked in I was informed it was no longer a Radisson. Upon arriving in the room I noticed there was not desk chair, so I called the front desk to request one, I called again an hour later and said I was going to bed and to wait until tomorrow to deliver. The bed was a sleep number which didn't […] hold the air thru the entire night, and the faucet in the bathroom didn't have any pressure. In addition, it appears they changed out the towels to very inexpensive quality replacements. I can only assume they were dropped by Radisson due to quality of the hotel. 더 보기

The overall quality of the hotel was nice. The carpets in the hallway, leading to the room were very dirty, they could use a good cleaning or replacement. The room had everything I needed and was very clean. The location was as indicated, within the financial district, the location was not on a main street, rather on a side street in an older part of […] town. Stayed here for 12 days for surgery at nearby hospital. Great low medical rate. Rooms clean,cool,comfortable. Excellent Cont. Bkfst-best we have had in years. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again-Tom

I did a lot of on-line hotel shopping for a week-long stay in Phoenix and either found hotels that had some scary reviews or were priced way above what I expect to pay. The reviews for The Phoenix Place Hotel & Suites were all good (it was a Radisson hotel at the time). They changed the hotel name while I was there. My stay there was even better than […] the reviews stated. The room was clean, the bed super comfortable, the breakfast buffet delicious, and the back yard patio and pool a completely unexpected gem. The one time I needed help from the staff to set up a group meeting in their back yard, they not only did what I asked but offered to help provide lunch too. I was thoroughly pleased with the hotel, the price, and the service. I highly recommend it. 더 보기

Customer service was horrible. We did not get rooms we reserved.. The shower would not drain and the towel was stopped up. We had to move rooms.

Booked hotel listed as a Radisson. Arrived only to find name change and rooms not up to standard as that of a Radisson room. Felt Hotels.com should have let us know of change and given us the opportunity to change hotels if we desired. Room was WELLL worn, carpeting dirty and the bed was broken. (Select comfort). This place looks very nice from the outside. It wasn't all bad. They definitely need to invest in some new towels. Not owned by Radisson anymore, is now called Phoenix Inn & Suites. Conveinient because its close to everything downtown.

Close to light rail system. Very good Breakfast Buffet.

Hotel was very clean and had a pretty courtyard and garden. It had a nice bar and good atmosphere. Breakfast buffet was good, but the servers were kind of slow. The hotel was in fact pretty full, so I expected a little slow service. Printers at the business center were messed up though, but overall I would stay there again.

The Radisson Hotel in Phoenix, Az - Location was convient, lobby was beautiful, carpet in hallway were filty, there was no sleep number beds available for the so called upgraded cabana suites, bed was like sleeping on concrete.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was VERY run-down. Very poorly maintained, only the upstairs pool had the heating system working, and it was filthy. We stayed in a cabana suite which was incredibly uncomfortable and constantly steamy. Overall, this hotel was nothing like what we saw online or paid for. My wife and I do not usually stay in nicer […] hotels, but we paid more on this trip because it looked nicer. The customer service however was excellent. I expected better from a 3.5 star property. We chose this hotel because it seemed a decent price for the star rating. We were on a 3 day business trip but the public computer and printer was almost unusable. Our biggest complaint is that there was only one server on duty at the restaurant each time we attempted to eat there. Twice we left after 15 minutes […] and not getting even a greeting, let alone a menu or glass of water. On Saturday morning the breakfast buffet was empty for more than 15 min while the one server was delivering room service. Customers were bussing tables to even have a place to sit, and finding there own coffee and silverware The front desk clerk did not care at all. They have tried to update the hotel and parts of it are nice but the towels were old and thin and the overall grounds looked dingy. 더 보기

Honestly, I was floored to find bath towels in my room that were so old and worn that they had lost the ability to absorb water. And, not to mention discolored from extended use. I found everything in the room to be satisfactory however, I will choose a different hotel for my next visit. I strongly recommed the hotel improve the quality of its room […] essentials.
