I booked with hotels.com for a pet friendly hotel and room when I arrived the manager was hard to understand and I just sign the check in slip. Well when he found out I had a dog in my room he got very upset and went on and on about what I signed so the start of this vacation time was ruined. then to top it off the room had some bugs it was dirty my […] tv only got 4 channels and the massage shower head only stayed on pulsate. the breakfast was a joke, they should install some sort of ashtrays outside and there were stray cats roaming around the grounds. I was disappointed from the start I booked 2 rooms one for a room with one adult and a pet(that is why I picked a pet friendly hotel) and one for a family of 4. they did not show my reservation as having a pet and then gave me the wrong room and tried to charge me for a week due to my pet being in the room. The room was filthy was not thrilled about […] even allowing my dog to stay nevermind myself. The manager was rude the accomodates hardly what was advertised and the breakfast a joke. 더 보기

The room was hard to find as it was not in sequence.We had to go through a dark alley to get to the room. I felt quite unsafe. The rug was full of stains that should have been taken out. There was no tv "clicker' and they couldn,t produce one. The hair dryer also did not work. In the morning I just wanted to leave. Sorry but I would not stay there  […] again. 더 보기

I made the reservation thru hotels.com for the Clairon Inn in Brunswick, GA. I selected this hotel because it was Pet Friendly. We have 2, miniature Chihuahua dogs. When I arrived at the desk I asked the clerk, if possible, I would like a downstairs room as the reservation was for a upstairs. I was told by the clerk that the hotel was booked solid and […] a down stairs room was not available. This was the day before Christmas Eve. I was told there would be a 25 dollar room cleaning fee for having the 2 dogs and that the room was deemed a "pet friendly room". I thought that was very strange. I paid the fee and walked to my car when my wife asked me about the room. When I told her she became upset and went back to talk to the clerk. After an exchange of words we were about to call hotels.com and cancel the room and move to a LaQuinta that was across the street. As we were walking back to the car the hotel clerk came running out and told us he had a "cancellation" and we could have the downstairs room. We stayed 2 nights and there were only 3 other automobiles in the parking lot for the entire 2 days. The hotel room was very run down, paint falling off the ceiling, linens were soiled and the TV remote control did not work properly. The parking lot was trashy. There were transient people walking about with the cops appearing one morning. The door to the room was not safe in that you could push it hard to open without even unlocking it from the outside. I will never, ever stay here or any other Clairon Hotel. 더 보기

I will stay at this hotel again. We was coming home from Disney, we had been in the park all day so it was 10:00pm before we got there. The guy at the counter knew who I was as soon as I gave him my last name. I was checked in and on my way in 2 minutes. The hotel was super clean and quiet. this Clarion is Really awesome , the bedmaking was so good I did not realize that I was sleeping on a topsheet and small blanket the comforter is the best i've ever used short of my own. the breakrast is good could use turkey bacon to add agood protein and the oj had a funny taste they knew and tried to rectify but it was ok with apple juice. THE ONLY […] problem was that ther used to be a lounge and I mean this is like a club style hipster lounge but I think the owners religious beliefs it s just hter not being use, I said with all the hotesl if they threw a mixer I thinlk it would be great also they had a fishing pond onsite that was a surprise. also they gym could use a little upgrade but overall I will stay here again no problem , keep up the great work 더 보기

For a small hotel right off of the interstate - I was VERY Thrilled with this hotel. The room was very nice and the beds were SUPER comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Would have liked breakfast to go beyond 9am, but otherwise - very satisfied!

There wasn't anything crazy awesome about this hotel. For the money it definitely worked out. There was a very musky smell the first day so we sprayed a lot of febreze and that helped out. Very peaceful pool. Overall I would stay in the hotel again.

There were roaches in our bathroom in the am.. It is a fairly new hotel and we were clearly surprised. Told desk clerk. The l ocation was ok for on and off rt 95 Do not recommend site seeing in surrounding towns.

This is more of a Motel than Hotel - and no place for dinner anywhere close - convenient for an overnight stop close to the Hwy

Room was very comfortable. The only downfall is it is more of a motel style(outside room entry). Great room for the price.

My Husband and I stayed here after a night on the Emerald Princess Casino Boat. We knew we wanted a hotel for the night and read reviews of all surrounding hotels before booking. This place was perfect! It is not in a nice area, and it is more of a motel style, than hotel style, however our room was extrememly clean, and came with mini fridge and microwave. […] It had great temperature control, black out curtains and the bedding was crisp, and smelled fresh and very clean. It also seemed as if the the bedding and towels were new. This hotel was absolutely worth the price! 더 보기

The one staff person on duty was a delightful lady from the Caribbean who knew very little about Brunswick and therefore could be of little help in providing information re restaurants, etc. The motel was dark and dank, the interior decor a poor catalog choice. Everything (lamps, toilet, shower, etc.) was functional, but the motel was minimally adequate […] and favorable opinions formed only because a short drive downtown will deliver you to the Cargo Portside Grill, a truly gracious, little Southern cafe with charm and character galore and a chef worth raving about. 더 보기

Black mold on ceiling tiles. Air system smelled musty. Broken door handle. Could see under the door to the outdoors.

Decent and clean accommodations for the price. Comfortable. The breakfast was not the quality or the variety I have had for the same price elsewhere.

We were satisfied with the room; obvious that it had been renovated. Bathroom in good shape, clean comfortable beds. Nice pool. OLD tv, and remote did not work, but that's no big deal. Quiet, and the AC worked well. Staff seemed to be friendly and courteous. Older neighborhood, and it's quite a few miles away from Jekyll/St Simons, but no real complaints […] at all. Dated but very clean

The hotel was clean and right off the I-95. This was my first time in Brunswick and I was able to reach all of my appointments with ease. There was a damp odor in the room. This was my only complaint Otherwise, the bed, bedding, linen and housekeeping was great.

Hotel rooms were updated with new linens, bedding, carpet and new bathrooms. We didn't use the pool area, but it was very nice and clean. We got a great rate for 4 nights or more. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and it's located next to the expressway for easy access. This property was quite a shock. It was a cheap motor lodge disguised as a Clarion. The room smelled of mildue and was located right off the interstate. I could not believe the condition of the place considering the price. I was very dissapointed to sat the least.
