The room was shabby and I don't mean "shabby chic". The chair upholstery and carpeting were dirty and stained. The ceiling tiles were dirty and looked dingy grey instead of white. It was March and there was only one thin blanket on the bed and it had seen better days. I could not believe that we were actually in a room at a Best Western hotel.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, but a bit shabby.Perhaps one is given an older,less than pristine room because of traveling with pets. Room service a definite plus! Would stay here again.

Pros - Pet Friendly, Near Highway, Fridge/Microwave, Hair-Dryer, Spacious, free continental breakfast, free wifi.

The only thing I would have liked added would be the safety bar in the bath tub/shower. Everything else was very good.

Hotel and room were clean and well-maintained. Purpose of our stay was to move our son into college! During our visits to Lehigh University, we will definitely return!

The hotel provided our basic needs. The room was comfortable enough, the beds somewhat soft, the shower good. The tv was low-tech. the large outside pool area was very nice. There was even a small cocktail cabana. Service was friendly. the hotel was just off the highway, but quiet. It was about a fifteen minute drive into Bethlehem. For a one night stopover on the way back to New York this hotel was satisfactory with a comfortable room and bed (king). The only blemishs were the attitude of one staff member at the breakfast serving and the breakfast itself. She appeared not to be too bothered to assist guests to enjoy their stay and wanted them gone as soon as possible. This hotel surpassed our expectations. It was a great value, and the free breakfast was exceptional. We spent another night in the area is a much fancier and more expensive hotel, and this Best Western Plus had more conveniences and was equally nice.

Very large hotel on 2 stories! The pool is being renovated with jack hammers! Dont bother trying to get sleep during the day. Also breakfast isn't served til 630 which is late for a contractor like me who needs to be on job site at 7am.

I found long pecies of womens hair in the bed. Then when I saw the shower curtin there was a streak of blood of it. It look like a csi crime sence.

the staff could not have been more polite the room was clean and there were plenty of soft fluffy towels i would definitely stay here again thank you!

The hotel lobby was pretty nice..Hotel had a night club it looked like a fun place.Conveniently close to Sands Casino. Te rooms were nice but, the only negative thing i found was the beds. they were old,worn and uncomfortable also,the pillows had a funky smell.:(

My husband and I needed a last minute lodging property for a whirlwind trip to Pennsylvania. We were able to book a room through Expedia. The room was spacious and clean, although the use of room deoderant was overwhelming. The property was conveniently located in Bethlehem, PA. Other than the strong room deoderant, the only other issue was the mattress, […] although my husband found the pillows comfortable. My choice is a softer pillow. My only complaint is that I reserved 2 double beds and that was not available unless I would settle for smoking. I opted for the King size bed. The clerk could not have been more apologenic. For our trouble, she gave us 2 complimentary passes for the hot breakfast buffet. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was fine. We stayed at this hotel last year around the same time for the Celtic Classic and had a very pleasant experience. This year was definitely not the same situation. Check in was fine, pleasant staff and easily completed. We went to the room and everything was fine. We were in need of shuttle service which was the main reason we came back to this hotel. […] Friday night, we went downstairs to find out about the shuttle and they said that it would be approximately 15 minutes. Well, 45 minutes later the driver showed up. He was at the other hotel, Hampton Inn, because there was only one driver on for both locations. The return trip was handled perfectly. We returned back to the hotel and wanted to go get a snack. I don't know who they think they are feeding in this restaurant but I am a normal everyday person and not very educated in High Class Cuisine. They had "white truffle emulsion" and "aioli" and all kinds of things that we never heard of that we looked up on the internet. Then Saturday came. We went to the continental breakfast and the hot breakfast and it was very nice. We decided to get ready to go to the Celtic Classic again. We went down to ask for the shuttle and they told us it was an hour to two hour wait. We were shocked. They said that they could call us a cab and I told them that the reason that we came to this hotel was for the shuttle. I advised them that last year we were able to call for reservations and they said that they no longer did that. Of course, we were really frustrated. They was a shuttle out front that didn't seem to be going anywhere. My husband decided to go out and talk to the shuttle driver. The driver said that he would take us over. There were only two people on the shuttle and he didn't understand why they told us it would take so long. So we got to the festival. Everything there was great. We were ready to leave and so we called the hotel to have a pickup. They stated that they are picking up every hour and to be there about 5 minutes 더 보기

The pool was wonderfully big for lap swimming, but the pool hours were lacking. I am an early morning swimmer and expected the pool to be opened before 9:00 am. I had hoped to get my laps in before heading out for meetings.

The most impressive aspect of this motel was their "continental" breakfast. Compared to what we have been given at other motels, this was a feast. There were several hot foods, plus a large variety of regular breakfast fare. The motel itself was normal, with the usual maintenance problems of an older building. Overall, it was confortable.

The Lehigh Valley Best Western is a mid grade hotel with good service and confortable rooms. For the price, we were quite happy with our weekend getaway. Complimentary continental breakfast was nice, but we opted for the small charge for the upgrade to include a hot buffet. The staff was very helpful. The hotel shuttle took us out to dinner in Bethlehem […] Friday night and picked us up shortly after we called to say we were ready. All that for free, too. When we were trying to figure out what to do when rain threatened our outdoor plans, the front desk was helpful with a variety of suggestions. The key with this hotel is to ask for their help and they seem happy to give it. My wife and I were quite happy with our stay. 더 보기

We booked this through hotels.com and paid a few dollars less than our last hotel in the area. And Best Western Lehigh Valley had several extras - - a pool, a restaurant, a bar, complimentary continental breakfast that was more than just donuts and coffee (hard-boiled eggs, french toast, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit!!). I enjoyed my week long stay at the Best Western until the final two days. The hotel had a group of teenage baseball teams staying at the hotel over Memorial Day Weekend. The first night I had to call the front desk to complain about the noise and general chaos in the hallways and in the parking lot. I was told that extra security was being called in. […] The following morning I asked if additional measures would be taken to keep this group under control. I was assured that there would be. That assurance fell short and the second night of the group's stay was equally riotous. Unless the hotel management can guarantee that ALL their guests follow the conventions of hotel stay, I would not recommend this hotel. Too bad, because other than these two nights of noise and commotion from 9 pm until 2 am, this hotel was flawless. 더 보기

My family and I were visiting my son @ Lehigh Univ for homecoming I needed a large rm 2 beds for the 4 of us the rm was very clean water in the shower hot hotel staff exceptional we arrived 945 am and they let us checkin we needed add crib for the 21mth old responded immediately and was not chged 11pm at night we needed milk for her cup again Hostess […] very pleasant fresh coffee avail also no chg compl continental brkfst buffet offered plenty of variety and busher very helpful Does need some work but again friendliness of staff will make me want to return Lareau salem Ma 11/21/2009 더 보기

In reading reviews, someone posted that there was used soap in the shower. It's still there! While everything appeared clean I'm not so sure. The place could use a good vaccuming & the soaps looks like it was there a long time.
