I will be visiting the area for the next 4 yrs because my son is going to college in Bar Harbor. I will stay at this hotel when I visit.

Worthwhile stay at Comfort Inn.

The overall condition of the hotel and rooms was very good. The beds were super comfortable. The pool was very disappointing. It needs work!

This is a very nice property, extremely comfortable beds, nice breakfast, good exercise facilities. I would recommend it for a nice base from which to visit Acadia NP.

Nice place to stay away from Bar Harbor. convenient location next to a large grocery chain, situated near many local eating places.

Hotel was conveniently located just at the end of town, near a supermarket (very useful) but not far from city center. It was excellent except for: - wifi required hacking on my android for it to work (set static ip & route) - beds were too high - made it uncomfortable to put on/off my shoes - breakfast could have been better considering the price

Being a heavy business traveler I typically shy away from Ramada Inn's. They're ususally old and in serious need of updating. I was very happy to see this one was nicely updated. New furnishings, carpet, bedding, etc. I would stay again.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The halls had an odd smell but the room did not and was lovely as was the pool/fitness area Breakfast area particularly cheerful

This hotel is fine - it's about a 20 minute drive to Bar Harbor. The pool was perfect and the indoor tennis court was an added bonus. The breakfast in the morning was also fine considering my kids aren't big eaters

Great Hotel, close to Food, Shopping, Movies, etc. Fantastic staff that accomodates your needs.This is probably the nicest hotel in Ellsworth. We travel a lot and this hotel is what you hope for when you make reservations.

Stayed here Saturday of labor day weekend because we were unable to get the last night of our vacation at the bar harbor regency, where we stayed for the three prior nights. The ramada was convenient, clean and the people were very nice. The rooms were on par with the bar harbor regency.( although not the location, but that was expected!)

We stayed in this Ramada 3 nights. The room was very clean, as was the entire hotel. The breakfast was very busy and I would call it a little unorganized. Overall, for the money, the hotel is very convenient, clean, and safe.

We stayed here when visiting Acadia over Labor Day weekend. It's not ideally located for that purpose, but we were traveling with our pet, and the Ramada does allow pets for a small fee. The hotel was easy to locate off of Route 3. The hotel was newly remodeled with an updated bathroom, nice bedding, and a flat screen TV in our room. The room was a […] bit crowded with two queen beds, an armchair and ottoman, a desk, and a dresser. Nick the front desk employee at Ramada is one of the best guys i met at staying in the hotels. he will go out of his ways to take care of the guests. he made our stay more pleasant. We were very happy with the resturants and sigh deeing places he recommended.

We had a great stay. the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus as was the continental breakfast each morning.

Rooms were just renovated. Really nice. Little shopping center right next to it and a little down town around the corner. 25 minutes to Bar Harbor and a good access point if you have other destinations. Good place to stay.

A great hotel. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good and served in an attractive spacious dining area. The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and our travel plans ( Bar Harbor and Bangor Airport). We stayed there and visited Bar Harbor during the day.

Ramada is a very nice hotel. Our room was a little bit too small. Another problem was the washing machine which could not be used after 8 pm

This hotel is located within a short walking distance of several reasonably-priced restaurants, a supermarket, and a shopping mall. It is on the main road to Acadia National Park, only 15 minutes away. Several beautiful seaside Maine communities are less than a 30 minutes' drive. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are many more hotels, inns, motels and "B&B's" to try out near Bar Harbor. This one was about 25-30 minutes away from the town. While I'm sure the price reflected the distance, there were many 'vacancy' signs much closer in to town that would have been happy to have you stay with them, even if it was for less than you would normally pay. Do your […] homework... look up all options for staying in this beautiful area, because I would have preferred to stay close to the ocean in a wooded area than next to a grocery store across from a Walmart when visiting Maine! 더 보기

Perfect location and price if you're going to Bar Harbor and don't mind driving a bit. The continental breakfast was more than we expected. Our only complaint was the hot tub. It was too small for a hotel of this size. Other than that, we were very pleased with the location and overall accommodations.

Had a great time. Had to drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia N.P. but actually chose that option. Great staff. wish they had a free breakfast.

We were going to Acadia National Park. Did not expect to pull into a parking lot that featured numerous stores. It was also a 1/2 hour drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Otherwise everything was great. Loved the beds and pillows. Had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and found it to be good and very reasonable.

Our room in the hotel was lovely - very well designed, spotless (clean), and so very comfortable. Two floors but no elevator so pack a small bag for overnight although maintenance will move bags for you. Dead centre of town, seemingly in the parking lot of a shopping centre - not far from LLB. You have the best staff i have ever encountered at a hotel, and i do lots of travelling. my kids loved the pool because you were not too strict at closing it at exactly 10:00 pm. we needed a rollaway, unfortunately they were all booked you went beyond and got us an air mattress to make our stay more comfortable which we really appreciate. we will stay […] at that hotel every time we are around Acadia National Park. We arrived at this hotel after hiking up Mt. Katahdin in northern Maine. We were all sore and achy after this long hike and this hotel met all of our needs. The beds were sooooo comfortable with fluffy pillows and nice white down comforters...great mattresses. The room was roomy and looked great! Ramada Ellsworth is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff is very polite, helpful and pleasant, and the location is great - right across the street from a grocery store, close to town center and right on Route 3 which goes directly to Acadia NP (about 20 - 40 mins drive, depending on traffic). The wife and I were treated with respect from not only the lobby personal but also from the personal that works in the Restaurant & Lounge. I would have no problem staying here again.

Purchased room for 3 nights. Have small kids. The free Breakfast was the reason we went with this hotel. I was informed that the hotel has stopped free breakfast over a year ago. The management should remove photos and text about breakfast.

The only thing that could have made the stay better...a more comprehensive continental breakfast. Otherwise it was wonderful

The hotel was very comfortable and adequate for our needs. There was no complimentary breakfast, though they did put out juice and muffins each morning. There is a supermarket right next door, so we picked up some cereal and fruit for low cost. The pool and hot tub are nice features. Only problem we had was light coming in around the door. Very comfortable and meet our needs for one night.

The weather was lousy when we came to Maine but there was an indoor, heated pool and tennis courts at the Ramada in Ellsworth so we kept ourselves occupied when the weather conditions were rainy and miserable.
