MCM 엘레간테 (MCM Elegante) - 앨버커키

Great location, close to downtown and old town, just a short driving distance. Breakfast, which was included in price, was great and very filling.

wasnt satisfied with ac not working and didnt get fixed till had to call again next day

It took a little extra effort to get the room we had requested on the ground floor. There was a conference going on, and we were clearly low priority, but the room was generally pleasant. The room was clean, but we left the card on the bed to indicate clean sheets were not required for the second night and found the bed pretty much as we had left it […] with the comfortor pulled up over rumpled, untucked sheets. Our main complaint was the derelict types walking the streets around the hotel, although we felt safe enough inside. 더 보기

Very nice inclusive breakfast which featured made-to-order omlettes. Beds were comfortable and hotel was very nice and quiet. Staff was extremely courteous and they had a fabulous gift shop!

Bathrooms were dirty, i cleaned with my personal Clorox wipes that I travel with... disgusting...bed sheets where stained I called front desk got switched out but just the fact that it was an oversight and I had to point out was terrible. Air conditioner was outdated and terribly loud either we dealt with noise or suffered through the stuffiness ...taking […] shower was a challenge water went from scalding hot to freezing in a matter of seconds regardless how much attempted to adjust settings it didn't matter..this was fourth stay at this hotel in span of 5 years and the last two stays were not great by far this last one was the worst... 더 보기

Hotel is remolding but the bathtub did not work and the shower went from hot to cold the whole time of the shower. Explained at checkout and was ignored.

I stay here almost every year. This year was the quietest. A good free hot breakfast and a couple free drinks are nice extras. The lobby is clean as is the outside around the hotel. Nice indoor pool. The staff is always pleasant but not terrifically competent. Hallway on my floor was very dirty and remained so throughout my stay. Horrid odor in the […] hall for the first 24 hours. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. A large crack above the door let in the hallway light like a bright spotlight. The hotel is not in an area where you would want to walk around after dark but very close to everything I require. The elevator didn't work, then when we got to our room, the sliding glass door in the room was open and discovered it didn't lock. We went back for another room and the next had no power (no lights, no ac and the phone didn't work, so we went back a third time for another room. This last room appeared to be ok. We immediately left and went out for dinner. […] Later we arrived back in the room, I went to take a shower. I'm assuming the bath/shower had not been cleaned since there was a half used shampoo bottle and soap bar on the soap dish on the shower wall. Completely grossed out! 더 보기

This is the 3rd time for us at the Elegante and it is a great loctaion for downtown and UNM activities. The rooms are comfortable, the fitness center is great and the breakfast is everything you could want. They are starting to show a lot of wear and tear that comes with large convention hotels. I expected the hotel to be in good condition, but it was outdated and run down. The shower was leaky. The beds were comfortable but smaller than a queen size. They were also remodeling so the hall and rooms smelled like paint. On the upside, the pool was in good condition and the breakfast was good.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. Came back because I really liked it. It is literally in the middle of Albuquerque. You can't ask more for the price. You always get free drinks and breakfast.

Free breakfast and drinks were great. Bed was very cozy. Easy access to highways. Staff was friendly.

I like it here and has hot breakfast and swiming pool has a employee watch over you there. some hotels dont' have any cuz my nephew almost drown in another hotel. so i like this hotel and treat everyone equally

Had a wonderful stay. Very clean and the staff was friendly. Only complaint was that the fire Alarm went off and scared the kids. Turned out to be a burnt bag of popcorn. Some people just can't cook.

We stayed her last year and liked it so much that we came back again. Good price, good pool, clean comfortable room, great free breakfast with omlets made to order AND FREE DRINK TICKETS all at a reasonable price

Very comfortable rooms. Slept really good which we don't usually do in most hotels. Good location from airport. About 5-10 minutes away via shuttle. Actually stayed here twice. Good location with highways and restaruants, not to mention Walmart and Walgreens. Area seemed safe enough. Weren't a lot of people out for this time of year.

this is a wonderful cozy hotel, w/ many restaurants close by, and by far the best breakfast buffet of any hotel I have ever stayed in. the breakfast more than pays for the room itself, really, and the highway is a hop, skip and a jump away.

Had a great time. Staff very friendly. Definitely would go back again.

1. Good location 2. Good breakfast (Free) 3. Most of the waitresses at the bar ar quite friendly and polite, except for a blond lady of hispanic heritage. There is another lady from hispanic heritage (black hair) which is a sweet, friendly and polite person. 4. Free parking

The place was older but clean and comfortable except that we were not able to sleep well because the heater sounded like a jet engine and it continued to cycle on and off even though the fan was set on low not auto. It was too cold to not have the heat on that night. The breakfast bar appeared nice, but we had made other plans so we just had coffee […] and juice there. 더 보기

We've stayed here before and always satisfied. We stayed here for New Years Eve to avoid driving.

Very old, outdated hotel. Towels looked like rags Hotel restaurant had horrible service and was out of food.

Nice place and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

When first arriving service was great. The hallways had a not great smell and the carpet was old ugly and stained. In the morning was the problem, tried showering and did not have hot water. After trying to shower, the tub was filled with watered from drain not properly draining. When we went to front desk to check out, we walked up to counter with […] 3 employees with their heads down ignoring us. Afer she finally realized we were there another employee had to help us cause the woman was ignoring us. We mentioned the not water problem and the only response we got was maybe we will have someone look at it.. We were upset cause we just experienced the worst shower ever and nobody cared. We mentioned it cause we were upset. We were not looking for a refund/discount but maybe an apology and someone caring and did not get that. We love to travel to Albuquerque and will make sure our friends/family know to avoid this hotel due to no one cares there. sad we experienced this. 더 보기

We stayed at this hotel while spontaneously driving across the U.S. after missing our Christmas flight home. We made reservations a few hours in advance for a king room and after a little trouble finding the place (it was a bit off the beaten path and in a strange area - though possibly some of that was because we arrived so late). When we were entering […] the hotel I noticed what I thought was a rather odd thing to be in front of a hotel - a very large statue of the Ten Commandments. While checking in, the clerk asked us if we were sure we wanted a single bed (even though the reservation was for a king bed). I told him that yes, we were husband and wife so we would like a single bed. He looked at both of us skeptically so I had to subtly show him my ring. It was rather odd. Our room was pretty clean, although it was older. Unfortunately though, the heater did not work very well. It would just continuously heat until it got way too hot, but since it was about 7 degrees out, we didn't have a lot of options. Upon entering the hotel parking lot, you feel as though you have entered into an episode of COPS. The hotel rooms, hallways, elevators and restrooms all need renovations. The elevators look filthy and feel unsafe. The hallways leading up to the rooms are unclean. The rooms have 1987 decor. The bathrooms make you feel as though you are using a restroom […] at a bad house party. There were 12 members of a party that stayed at the hotel with me, and they all said it took 20 minutes to get hot water for a shower. The clientele roaming the hallways at night were shady, at least. Not recommended for those that require a higher standard of cleanliness and safety. 더 보기

I love this chain. I discovered it while traveling thru Abilene, Tx. where I stayed a few nights previous to this. Staff was very friendly, good beds, and "killer" breakfast which comes with the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My brother and I stayed during our cross-country trip and it happened to be Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet and our bell captain Damon was awesome.

The MCM Elegante was a poor hotel. The first room we were given was previously a smoking room and stunk of deoderizer, despite the fact the hotel was obviously nearly empty. The second room we were given, although a VIP room, that smelled clean, had a huge hole around the heating unit that let the wind blow right into the room. A terrible place.

The bar, restaurant, and room were all first rate. Even the pet area outside was clean and convenient. The full breakfast as advertised was delightful. Front desk staff were very helpful. Free drinks were a pleasant surprise.

The hotel exceeded our expectations with the quality of service. The room was nice and clean. The work out room and in door pool were fun and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - great tasting and great selection. We entered about 10 minutes before closing and it was very well stocked. Enjoyed our stay!

My family and I (little children age 5 & 6) had a great time at this hotel! The rooms are not very modern but overall for the price you cannot find anything better. The breakfast buffet was delicious...eggs made to order...any way. We spend the afternoon at the indoor heated pool...My children had a blast.
