No need to have valet parking. self parking is the same. pro: nice area, clean, spacious, friendly, close to Manhattan, many restaurants around the area con: noisy heater, dated heater and air condition, need long walk to parking.

Very nice, so convenient to anything, shopping, eating, movies, entertainment. Will stay there again.

I chose this hotel because I noticed so many excellent reviews, and I am happy to add mine to the bunch! The room was better than we expected, very clean, staff were great. So quick and easy to get to NY. I will stay here again.

Even though we mentioned that we are a party of 4 people and will require 2 queens bed in our room, they gave us the room with only 1 king size bed. They refused to change our room even on the request. Also, the room was facing graveyard :-|

As soon as we walked in the hotel seemed very classy and clean. The service at the front desk was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfy! Rooms were very standard. Parking is free and valet parking is 13 bucks a day. They made it seem as though the free parking was dangerous and your car isn't is a great location. We […] got fooled and took the valet parking, and later realized that the free parking would have been almost the same thing. Stick to the free parking, it's really not bad. The worst part of the hotel was by far the restaurant. The service was by far the worst service I've ever received in my life!! It took 10 minutes for us just to be seated. There were only 6 other people in the whole place (I guess now I know why). For breakfast you have the option of a menu or a buffet. Because there was a breakfast buffet which most people opted for, they were very hesitant about giving us a menu. It took about 15 minutes to get our menu, which we had to ask twice for. The waitress was in the moon and didn't know anything about the menu or even know how to spell the menu items. It took about 35 to 45 minutes just to get our food. The food was ok but the service was the worst I've ever seen. We left a 25 cent tip because it was so bad! So overall the hotel was pretty good, but for gods sake stay away from the restaurant!! 더 보기

The staff was friendly. Great location to bus stop to get into New York. Adjacent to movie theater, restuarants and a super close to Walmart (just in case you forgot something). We will stay there again. We only missed having access to a pool.

I had a fairly pleasant stay. I say fairly because: (1) upon arrival at the hotel, the desk clerk said that all she had available was a smoking room (mind you I had already booked and prepaid for a NON smoking room online). I told her I have asthma and that there's no way I can have a smoking room. Just then as she viewed my reservation, she goes "oh, […] you prepaid?" Then she "magically" finds a non-smoking room for me and goes "oh, we have one more non-smoking room". Such BS!!! If a person has a confirmation for a non-smoking room, shouldn't that be enough?! Reason number two that I had a fairly pleasant stay was due to the a/c unit in my room....it never got "cold", just sort of "cool" air blowing. Anyway, it was ok because I wasn't in my room all that much.....I spent the majority of my time in the city. I only booked here so that I could have a better room than I would have in the city in this price range. This was my second stay at this hotel (I had no complaints during my first stay) and I will likely stay again. 더 보기

Very good shuttle service to reach bus stop and metro.

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to NY and chose this hotel as it had very good reviews and was very resonably priced. The room was spotless and included a microwave and fridge, the staff was excellent and very helpful, there was free parking, free computer w/ internert access available on the main floor and it only took us aprox 15 to get […] to Time Square. The surrounding area had many great options for dining and there are several tour buses that come right to this hotel! I would definately stay here again! Kim 더 보기

Usually I stay in Manhattan and spend twice as much for a room. Henceforth, I'm staying there!

although arriving at midnight we were greeted by a very friendly guy at reception, the room was extremely comfortable and well equipped the food was good and the service at breakfast excellent, the hotel staff were very helpful throughout our stay with our many pointless enquiries. i would not hesitate to encourage anyone to stay here.

Let's face it, Secaucus isn't exactly a prime travel destination, but if you have to be there, this is a really good hotel option. Close to Meadowlands and close to the bus to Manhattan. Staff was terrific. Next time we have a show at Meadowlands, we'd come back to the Holiday Inn.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Location is pretty good with the 320 bus that takes you to Midtown in Manhattan. However we were not pleased with that the only window in the room we got was bolted shut.

A high quality hotel with reasonable prices. Great location, easy bus commute to Manhattan. Would definetly stay there again. Helpful staff and many nearby resturants to choose from. Safe respectable location.

This hotel is far away enough from Manhatton for a quiet and care free night but only a short bus journey from right outside the hotel direct to Port Authority Bus Terminal in central Manhatton for only $7.90 for a round trip at any time of day! Superb service all round and even though the hotel is going through major refurbishment the rooms have been […] completed already and look amazing. The main foyer and dining rooms were in the process of being completed which seems noisy when you check in, but once you go to your floor you cant hear it! Breakfast was good considering there was no kitchen for them to cook anything but when it is completed in early August it will look fantastic. I would definately stay here again and there are loads of cafes and restaurants to the rear of the hotel anyway. Walmart is nearby and you can get a shuttle there and back for free from the hotel. Just ask at reception to book the times you want to go. I walked it instead and its a great neighbourhood to walk through. All in all a great hotel and friendly staff within a safe area and easy access to NJ and NYC. Buses run every 15minutes in either direction from just outside hotel plaza. 더 보기

The hotel was having renovation. Main lobby was under construction but the room was very clean and nice. close to mid town NYC. only 10 mins.

It was okay but really expensive for the construction conditions. It was really easy to take a bus into New York.

While the decor of the room was pleasant the quality of the employees left so much to be desired that we won't be back. I booked my room over a week in advance and then called to confirm our room choice two days before our stay. The gentleman on the phone assured me the room we requested was available and reserved. Yet, when I arrived this was not […] the case. The girl behind the counter was less than friendly and immediately informed us the requested type of room was not available, when I let her know I had confirmed the reservation she "magically" came up with the room but when we arrived it was literally under construction. A crew was in there tearing down wall paper and sanding the walls, in fact the whole floor was like that! We had to go all the way back down to find that ALL the rooms similar to what we had requested were under construction. Their response? To downgrade me from a king room to a double bed. When I insisted a downgrade wasn't an option and asked for an upgrade the magically came up with a king room on their "special 8th floor", when I asked what made it "special" the attendant stated it was because it was on the top floor and in the evening the put fresh fruit in the hall way??!!! The room was ok (it had a few issues of it's own) but the customer service nightmare continued. They automatically charged us $37 for a pay per view movie we didn't order and then had the audacity to leave the bill face up half way under the door for the other guests to see. The only onsite parking is a $10 valet choice or free parking a few buildings over. We explained the the valet our NYC show started at 10:30pm who promptly informed us we could come and go as we please he was there the whole night and it didn't matter how late the show was he'd be there. When we returned from the show the valet was no where to be found because his shift ends at 10pm and he doesn't return til 6am!!!! Queremos agradecer a todos los que trabajan en el hotel , nuestra estadia fue perfecta, la gente es muy amable , nos sentimos como en casa, Elhotel tiene una perfecta ubicacion el area es muy limpia y segura especialmente para grupos familiares, es de facil acceso y muy seguro para ir a manhattan. la verdad que la pasamos muy bien, volveremos

Excelente custo-benefício. Transporte público fácil e rápido para NY. Grande variedade de comércio próximo ao hotel.

Me hospede con mi familia y realmente quedamos muy contentos con este hotel, todas las personas son muy amables y sonrientes y siempre listas a solucionar cualquier inquietud, el hotel es expectacular , la ubicacion es realmente buena ya que tienes la parada del bus 320 en frente y estas a solo 15 minutos de Time Square , el sitio es superseguro y tiene […] un mall de outles a menos de 5 minutos y te llevan y te regogen gratis de el hotel adicional a menos de 100 mts hay una zona de restaurantes en donde tienes muchas alternativas, y adicionalmente tienes un parqueadero gratis a menos de 100 mts. y es seguro sin duda alguna en mi proximo viaje a New York me quedare en este hotel .
