When we arrived he had issues with the dead bolt on the door. We asked for a different room. Maint told us how it worked (as if we didn't know). So our entire stay we had to manipulate the door handle when leaving the room. Second day we asked for a new room due to the people accross the hall changing rooms all night and slaming doors. We were told […] they were sold out and couldn't change. So the third day the maids congregated ouside our door at 7am and talked for about an hour (this was also the case day four and five). So I asked again on day three to change rooms (around check in time) and was denied again. On the final day the manager asked how the room was. I told hime I had no sleep in 6 days. He said I should have told him and he would have changed my room. I told him I asked 3 times and 2 of them was to him personally. Will never stay here again. 더 보기

The shuttle was the best part. We didn't have to worry about driving or parking in the city. The driver did just fine. The hotel itself was very nice.

Great hotel. I really enjoyed to have a hotel with a affordable price and close to Manhatam. The van available is very handy and leaves us at great location in Mahantam. We stayed there for 3 days and all days it took us less than 15 minutes to get there. I'd stay at DaysInn again. The bedroom and washroom are kept very clean.

Hard to find, but very nice and comfy for a well priced room. Great service.

The hotel seemed a little sketchy and the neighborhood wasn't beautiful, but it was completely safe. The room was perfect. And you can't beat the price. The hotel is a 15 minute commute to NY by way of the Lincoln Tunnel. This puts you right at the Javits Center. The Hotel also is very close to a 75 year old dinner thats very busy, crowded, fast service, and GREAY FOOD. The Coach House.

Hotel is older and well used. Check in was quick, parking no problem. Easy access to NYC. Okay if just looking for a place to sleep.

The lobby had a escort sitting trying to pick up people ... i did not expect this from a Days Inn. The room was ok. The elevators were rattling and noisy.

We stayed on the 8th floor and it didn't look like the pictures but it was still a nice hotel. It was loud in the room because it was right next to numerous roads and railroad tracks but the location for getting in to NYC was great and quick.

Been there before, good area to be close to NYC, but you have to be careful around the area. During the day its ok but at night I would have a watchfull eye. The parking lot in rear is in need to be repair, also I never seen any security. It is also very hard to leave(drive) and make a left to head north.

The location of this hotel is definitely the best thing about it; centrally located less than a 10 min drive to the NYC ferry. There is a shuttle to the ferry but we did not take it. The room we had was in VERY poor condition, everything needed updated. My husband had to go to another floor to get ice and pop because the machine on our floor did not […] work AND took our money. The way the room was set up we could not even get our suitcase passed the 'hallway' area. They had the mini-fridge cutting off the area to the bed. I have read other reviews of this hotel that weren't too bad so it is my hope that they are remodelling the hotel and we were just unlucky to get a room that has yet to be remodelled. The hotel was great - room and bathroom was clean. We even had a mini fridge included. However if you plan on going to NYC it's a little far (20-25 minute cab ride) Also the comforters were a little thin, but that's minor. All in all, good choice though.

The Days Inn was overall a nice hotel. The room was big and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable after a long day in NYC. I wish the bathroom had a regular door rather than the sliding door that didn't lock. Public transportation was available within a 10 minute walk although NJ transportation isn't the most reliable (we waited 2 hours for […] our return bus because the 4:30 never came). The staff was average; they weren't too friendly but they weren't rude either. The only thing I really did not like was the "gift shop". It was the size of a closet and the staff was not interested in helping anyone. Other than that, the hotel was acceptable and I would stay there again. 더 보기

Clean and friendly. We've been staying there for almost 10 years when we go to NYC. Almost always happy.

I had no complaints. Being close to the bus stop is key considering cabs into the city run $65-70 one way! Te staff was very polite and helpful!

The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are of a good size and perfectly fine. The location is on the one hand close to Manhattan, and on the other seedy and entirely lacking in charm. The emphasis for choosing this hotel must be primarily on price, and then on location, which are both as advertised. The shuttle service to and from Manhattan […] was OK, but too few shuttles are provided and the staff of the shuttle service and buses could use some training in English and in the manners expected of hotel staff by clients. They were not so much rude, as brusque and curt. I would recommend this hotel to those who really want to be near Manhattan but avoid its outrageous prices, and who have a high tolerance for staff who utterly lack a service mentality. 더 보기

Broken fittings and walls in the room. The pics are misleading.

I attended a conference at the Crown Plaza in Times Square (rooms for $3/400 a night). I decided I would rather eat and have fun with my money, so opted for the Days Inn in North Bergen. A decent place close to NY city and easily accessible by the shuttle provided from the hotel (at a reasonable charge) which has ample parking. The restaurant at the hotel/motel is reasonably clean providing good tea/coffee and breakfast.

While in a pretty mediocre part of North bergen, this days Innn delivers what it promises. Once a Holiday Inn in the 80's, the now refurbished Days Inn provides clean accomodation, and most of the perks. The on-site cafe is clean and reasonably priced for breakfast, while the amenities are ample. Lincoln Tunnel is 2 minutes away. Too far from public transits & shops.You have to always rely on cabs to go any where if you dont have car or rentals.evacuate the hotel during my stay at hotel due to fire alarm in the the mid night. very hard time during the stay. very panic time.

Limited information in the hotel about the transit system, its a ten minute walk up a hill to the bus stop. The NJ system is separate from the NY so its tricky getting back. The first room assigned was terrible and was in fact due to be refurbished. The ninth floor was renovated beautifully however there are plumbing problems, the room safe didn't work, […] gaps around the window frame, no sheers covering the window so you had to close the drapes in order to get dressed in the daytime and the censored powered garbage didn't work. The hotel itself was not bad. Not too expensive, which is what we were after. I just wish the shuttles had traveled later than 11 pm. You pay enough for them, but you can't stay too late in the city if you plan on using them.

First, We checked in at hotel and hotel staff was in back room talking on the Ph for a while. Advertised Breakfast was included but it wasn't just kids eat free with adult meal. No Big Deal as it wasn't important for us. When we got to room the room was really warm and took a while for Air Conditioner to cool down. I sit on the chair and found out Cushion […] underneath is completely wet. Disgusting! The worst part is they asked for ID and I gave my Driver's Licence. They forgot to give it back to me when I checked out. It was partially my fault as well since I forgot to ask back. I called to find out what happened to my Driver's Licence and staff found it and transferred to management. Management was not helpful and I still did not get my Driver's Licence back. 더 보기

I had asked for a single king size bed room and they gave us a double full size bed room, I told the girl upfront and she ended up switching us 3 times because she didn't know what she was doing. I was told they had a gym and when I went to check in I asked about it, and the same girl replied "Oh, we're working on it". Close to Times Sq. they provided shuttle to and from for a small fee, which is perfect. No contiennal breakfast but the food was good and cooked to order. No pool,but who had time anyway. The hotel is nice and the beds were GREAT!

The Hotel location is near the Lincoln Tunnel, so with the shuttle from the Super 8, that take 15 minutes to go downtown NewYork, the Super 8 shuttle is really cheap compare to the one at the hotel.

Hotel was affordable, easy access to the city, room was clean and spacious, front desk staff helpful and friendly. Good choice for people on a budget who want to be close to the city. Short drive in or bus/shuttle options. Would stay again.

It is old, dirty. We saw "coquerelles" on the room and corridors. the neighborhood is horrible. Hotel surrounded by many rapid ways. It is difficult to find our way out.The only good things,it's that we can let the car on the parking and take a bus to New York for $14 each person( go and back).

Stayed at this location for 4 nights, room was clean and comfortable. Time and distance to Times Square was reasonable as we drove our own vehicle. we did not use hotel shuttle service as the cost worked out to be the same as driving and finding parking in NY each day. would recommend staying at this hotel as it was a good starting point for our travels […] around the area. 더 보기

Don't get me wrong, if I was on a budget and need to get as close as I could to mid-town without the $, I would stay here again. The breakfast looked good, but despite the 25 tables, there were only enough chairs to fill half of them, so we were turned away. Fine for a short stay, near a busy highway and surrounded by haulage companies who work 24/7. Room was reasonably priced and reasonably clean, decor dated. There was a small water leak in the bathroom. The front desk was understaffed, staff there were extremely professional and helpful but there was not enough of them. Hotel itself was great. The shuttle service to NYC was horrible, late, not enough space, staff were rude, etc.

The hotel is in a very good location for travel to the City. However, the surrounding location leaves a lot to be desired. Decent hotel. Decent price. But short drive to New York City.
