Not a bad place to stay. We stayed the night after snowboarding all day and could have slept just about anywhere. It took a while to check in to our room, as there was no one at the counter. There were an abundant amount of kids there, as there was a hockey turnamant (little kids). Those are thing the hotel could not control. The Hotel was in a great location for visitors that were attending the I Love Lucy celebration. It is only 1 block from the fesivities. That was great as we could walk around town. Make sure that you have towels in your bathroom. There seemed to be a shortage of them as we only had 1 wash cloth and 1 small hand towel. I did ask for more and they did […] give them to us but it was an inconvenience to us. The staff in the recepiton area were lacking personalities. Not willing to accomodate you. The motel appeared to be old and needed renovation but was clean. As for the lounge area they need to get a bartender that could understand what a person was ordering. He messed ours up big time. arrived at checkin time allowed to check in only to find room not cleaned yet had to wait 30 minutes for room to be cleaned on 2nd day of stay housekeeping failed to replace used cups for coffee and bar soap free breakfast was soso but for a free breakfast u cant complain

When checking in I was told both elevators in the hotel were broken down. The only room available was on the 6th floor, so my father and I had to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room which was no easy task, because my dad recently had both knee and hip surgery and I have a condition called CMT (a form of MD) that makes negotiating stairs difficult. […] We explained this to the deck clerk, but they were not helpful at all. When we went into our room we discovered the room was already occupied, fortunately they were not in. We had to make the trip using the stairs to the front desk. The hotels lack of maintenance and the fact that the staff was unable to help us with a room closer to the first floor made this stay the worst I've ever had. The toliet in the room was stained, maybe rust, maybe mold, maybe? We had no information in the room about ANYTHING. We called the front desk 6 times for information. We had a Select Comfort bed but no instructions and the digital indicator only showed half or less of the display so couldn't even tell what number it was on. The bed might have been a […] plus if we had been able to use it correctly. Breakfast was very good. Couldn't recommend this hotel 더 보기

The hotel overall was probably 1 out of 10 stars.very unclean and outdated. There was concrete falling off the side of the building. Smelled of smoke. Pool unheated and disgusting. Every chair in the pool area was broken. The food for the breakfast was inedible and cold. The staff on hand were worthless. An old hotel, but pretty well kept. The rooms were QUIET, well insulated which we appreciated. The shower/bath tub appeared to be quite new. When we checked in, we discovered we were in rooms farthest from the elevators . We reserved 2 rooms for four of us OLD people, not realizing the long walk down a hall would tire us all. The Clarion met my expectations, check-in was quick, the room was clean, everything was in working order, the bed was very comfortable and the rate competitive.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. Owners and staff not very friendly. They will follow you around watching you. Breakfast buffet was terrible. Hotel charges a "convenience" charge of $20 in case you take them. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy let alone a friend.

Breakfast was "hot" as promised, but consisted of bread, muffins fried potatoes and fried pieces of sausage. If you are a healthy eater you could have Rice Crispies with an apple with only one choice of milk.. regular (which eliminates the thought of cereal). This hotel has potential. It is located in downtown Jamestown with good access to everything. Hotel has been upgraded a bit since last time I was there. There were, however, several bad maintenance issues. The worst of these was that the lobby bathrooms were a mess. In the mens room one of the 2 toilets was backed up. In the womans room both of them […] were..for the entire 3 days we were there! There was coffee in the lobby, but no cups on all but one day. Also no creamer. When I asked for cups they could not find any. There was an outlet that didn't work in the bathroom. The people at the front desk knew it was an issue in several of the rooms, but it was never fixed during our stay. The bathrooms outside of the "restaurant" on the 2nd floor were locked the enier time we were there. The bed was one of those Comfort Number beds (basically an air matress) and the display on the remote did not work. The hotel has potential but obviously it has bad mangement or management to is not willing to spend money to fix things! 더 보기

At check in We had to wait while the man behind the counter took care of several other hotel needs - supply deliveries, cookies for a reception,etc. The room was not clean - no fan in the bathroom would naturally allow some lint accumulation, but that's what I thought daily maid service was for. The in room coffee pot was stained, but I cleaned it and […] used it anyway. It would have been nice if the maid left more coffee the next day to replace what we used. Our smoke alarm beeped after midnight - we were offered another room, but after already being in bed we declined to move - we had to put the alarm in the hall way to keep it from waking us and it was not replaced for the remainder of our stay. The pool was not attractive and the sidewalk to the parking area was in a state of disrepair - dangerous to walk over let alone try to wheel luggage over. 더 보기

Two key things went wrong during our stay at the Clarion Jamestown: the toilet stopped working and the cable went out. At least both oxygen and water were plentiful. Seriously, it seemed the hotel had a run of bad luck...the chain in the toilet broke (it was, to be honest, an older toilet), and as soon as I called the front desk, they offered us a different […] room. We stayed put and they had someone there first thing the next morning and everything - with that - was fine. The afternoon of our arrival, apparently, the satellite dish had gotten blown over, so we literally had no cable television all weekend long. With that, there were no in-room movie selections available, either. The management was profusely apologetic about it, but at the end of the day, there was nothing they could do fix it until Monday (the day of our departure). Even with that, the rate was very reasonable, the pool was clean and warm, the "gym" contained at least a few weight-bearing machines, and - surprise, surprise - the stay came with a certificate for a free full breakfast in the hotel restaurant every morning. Now, this came with its own pecadillo...specifically, if the server was not there when you arrived at the restaurant, you had no idea what the deal was...there was what appeared to be standard continental breakfast fare spread out in a buffet line and nothing else. When the server did come in, she asked if we would like anything from the kitchen...there were no menus. BUT...they served eggs, meats, home fries, pancakes, french toast, even omelettes...made to order and quite good. The room was clean, large, and well appointed (except for the issues already mentioned)...oh, another issue (maybe I should change my rating!)...the hotel lounge went out of business. So I couldn't go have a drink and watch the game that I couldn't see in my room because there was no place to go to, that is. So...I would recommend the hotel in part because I had a lot do while I was there and kept very busy a 더 보기

The Clarion in Jamestown was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever had in any hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was awful. When we went to eat dinner, we couldn't get waited on at all. There were only 3 other tables with customers, so it wasn't busy. The waitress never even came to our table, but she had no problem cleaning […] up the tables around us. She was also using the computer at the front of the restaurant. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, we finally got up and left. It was inexcusable. 더 보기

Hard to find, sidwalks from parking were in disrepair, Person at desk took forever to find our reservations, Bed was terrible.
