I only stayed for one night just to sleep. The hotel is cheap and right in the heart of Oslo. small room that could need a brush-up. Breakfast & service was ok. I can recommend if you only want å place to sleep.

The rooms are not completely up to date, but you get what you pay for. Its clean and in walking distance to Karl Johan. Breakfast is good. Overall nice stay and might stay here again.

Small and quet hotel in sentral downtown in Oslo. Located in an officearea and the neighberhood is very quet by evening/night. Old and modest hotel with a very smal lobby. Staff members are very helpful and the breakfast is really great! They have wireless internet available in the rooms and a printer and desktop available in the lobby. Only thing is that they advertised that the rooms have a fridge, but not many of them actually do. The reception has a fridge and they let you put things there.

One of the worst experience. The pictures carry NO truth of what it is inside. The hotel is not more that 1 1/2 stars. They gave me the last floor, and couldn't sleep because of the stench that was coming from the bathroom. It seems like this floor was added in a rush after the hotel was finished, and was made with cheap materials. Stains of pumping […] problems are on the walls. Plus you can see the bad finishing on the ceilings and corners. The reason I gave them overall rating 2 stars is because they accepted to charge me for just one night when I moved to a different hotel. Great budget hotel for exploring Oslo. The only thing was the heat, being on the 9th floor, it got pretty hot up there, and there is no air con. Other than that it was ideal. Great buffet breakfast in the mornings too.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was as good as most others, nothing to complain about. It was only a short walk to the main art gallery in Oslo, and most other attractions. The only complaint we had would be the soft bed in our room, apart from that the hotel was perfect.

they checked is right away, the room was simple but spacious. Breakfast was very good and included. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay there aagain.

We enjoyed our stay at the Thon Hotel Munch. The staff were friendly and the hotel was well maintained. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection of hot and cold foods. The location is an excellent base for exploring the city.

overall, this hotel was very good value for money. it was definitely the cheapest hotel i found online - it was basic, but clean and good breakfast. great location - so perfect for anyone doing a city break on the cheap.. though be warned.. the hotel was definitely the bargain of the weekend for us! Thon Munch is a budget hotel. Rooms are reasonably priced for what you get. Comfortable bed, clean (but small) bathroom. Very close, and within walking distance, to city centre and all important sights. Recommendable.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was helpfull, breakfast was brilliant lots stuff to choose from. Location in the city centre, view from window was only poor. Overall highly recommend.

I am staying regularly in Oslo. This is a very quite good hotel with good services. A bit further to walk to the station, but within easy reach of town centre and the many restaurants. Good extended choice for breakfast.

The Hotel Munch is fairly basic. Our room was quite old with a tiny bathroom. Breakfast was adequate but not as good as in many Norwegian hotels. The surrounding area is shabby but it is only a short walk to the centre of Oslo and Karl Johans gt. For the price this is as good as you'll get for a budget hotel in the city centre.

This is my first time staying in one of the Thon hotels, and I definitely would recommend Thon Hotel Munch to anybody who plans to visit Oslo. This hotel offers free wi-fi, has an excellent breakfast buffet, and charges a reasonable room rate. It is definitely worth the money.

I had a single room and chose this hotel largely because it was the cheapest I could find at short notice. I was pleasantly surprised; the room was well maintained, clean and had everything I needed. Reception staff were helpful and free internet was available by the check-in desk. My friends and I found this hotel to be completely satisfactory. Both rooms were fine. Nice central location. Oslo and Norway are expensive, so this "budget" hotel was a good find. Breakfast, not included in our room rate, was quite good.

I i were to return to Oslo,I would check this hotel for rooms 1st. Less than 5 minutes walk from the main drag & less than 10 minutes at a gentle stroll from the Theatre underground,makes this place ideally located

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. No AC, so if the weather gets hot can be a problem

Hotellet hadde bra beliggenhet, da det var i gåavstand av det meste i Oslo. Veldig fornøyd med frokosten, bra utvalg!! Men mye støy og rot på hotellet grunnet ombygging! Håper det blir bedre neste gang. Burde ikke ha så høye priser når det er mye støy og rot i gangene. Men vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Generelt godt fornøyd, hotellet er under oppussing/vedlikehold for tiden, og bar preg av det, men som sagt - forholdene tatt i betraktning var jeg svært godt fornøyd med oppholdet.

Rimelig og greitt om du bare skal sove og ha en seng for natten ! Hotellet var under oppussing, dette syntest i gangene der ledningene hang rundt ørene på meg, og håndtverkerene begynte å arbeide 07.00. Hotellet var under renovering, dvs en byggarbetsplats även på de våningar där de hyr ut rum. Ändå ordinarie pris = undermåligt!

Det var byggearbeid på hotellet når jeg overnattet der. Noe som bråkte en del og som gjorde det utrivelig å gå utenfor rommet. Men ellers var det god frokost og hyggelig betjening.

Hotellet under renovering. Etasjer med renovering burde vært avstengt. Dårlig renhold. Bad må holdes rent også bak WC og i kriker og kroker.

Hotellet bar veldig preg av et etterlengtet renoveringsarbeid. Synes det er pussig at man leier ut noen rom i en etasje hvor bygningsarbeidere løp inn og ut fra alle rommene som var under renovering. Prisen på rommet var altfor høy i forhold til dette og kvalitet på rommet som sådan. Veldig lite bad

Vi fik ikke, hvad vi havde bestilt (dog kompensation). I er svære at finde. Hoterllet har nikke egen parkering (ekstraudgift).

Var ikke klar over at hotellet var en byggeplass. Det måtte i det minste være mulig å stenge en etasje av gangen, ikke blande alt slik tilfellet var nå. Det eneste positive var at det var kort vei til sentrum og at frokosten var god. Rommet var også rent, med unntak av gulvteppet, føltes tryggest å gå med sko på.

Dette var ett ufattelig lavstandard "hotell"--- Strengt talt vil jeg ikke kalle det hotell, snarere ett leirsted. Byggearbeider pågikk ute OG inne, det er greit nok, men når i tillegg alle håndverkere frekventerte gjeste kantinen i skitne arbeidsklær osv var det ikke noe greit

Hotellet har en meget sentral beliggenhet i Oslo sentrum og en hyggelig pris. Dessuten satte vi pris på hyggelig betjening og en god frokost.

Ingen ventilation på toaletten/duschen. Gammal heltäckningsmatta. Obefintlig utsikt. Trångt. Inga faciliteter på rummet. Jag kommer inte bo på hotellet igen.
