맨지즈 시드니 (The Menzies Sydney) - 시드니

시드니는 걸어서 여행할 수 있는 도시이다. 달링하버 근처나, 오페라 하우스 근처의 서큘러키에 호텔을 잡으면, 산책하기도 좋고 교통비를 들이지 않고 관광을 할 수 있다. 시내 관광은 물론 특히, 서큘러키는 타롱가 주, 갭팍 같은 원거리 이용시 페리를 타는 곳이라 교통이 참 좋다. 시드니를 내 마음대로 여행하고픈 관광객이나 배낭객에게 아주 좋은 위치이다. 반면, 객실 위생이나, 소비스는 보통인 편이다. 하지만, 시드니 다른 호텔이 좀 비싼편인데, 경제적인 것 생각하면 합리적인 선택임에는 틀림없다.

주요 쇼핑가에 바로 걸어서 갈 수 있고, 일요일 아침에 록스 마켓에 서둘러 가지 않아도 될 만한 완벽한 위치에 있습니다. 힐을 신어도 써큘러 퀘이와 달링 하버 양쪽에 있는 훌륭한 식당들을 걸어갈 수 있습니다. 사소한 단점이라면, 방이 조금 낡았고 가구들이 어울리지 않는다는 점 입니다.

위치가 매우 좋습니다. 시드니에서의 5일 동안의 야간체류 내내 편리했습니다. 직원들은 대단히 호의적이었습니다. 저는 다시 방문할 것입니다. 고마워요 멘지스 호텔

Fantastic. Location is excellent, staff are fun and very efficient. The pool, spa and sauna were great after a long day out walking. The first floor piano bar was great. Music was fab and the pianist will take requests. Great voice and quantity of songs ia amazing. A must stay hotel.

Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. had to lie on the bed to watch TV as it could not been seen from the couch. overall value for money and in a great location. Dining room on the expensive side but the service was very good. Would stay again.

The hotel seems rather ok. But few things bothered us. First, there was a weird "door opening" noise coming from upstairs (I guess) throughout the night. This noise was so loud that it woke up our children few times, and therefore it was extremely annoying. Second, we could not find "do not disturb" sign from our room. There was also no bottle opener […] in the room although minibar was full of bottles. The pool, sauna and gym were rather ok. The gym, however, missed many essential things that any decent gym would require. Anyway, in general the hotel was not that bad. Only the sudden noise was really disturbing. 더 보기

Superb location! Direct opposite to Wynyard Station makes commuting so much easier..

My wife and I were very pleased with your hotel facilities and the service we recd. while we were there recently. A special recognition should be noted to your employee, Janina for her constant courteous manner and helpfulness while we were there. Next year we hope to stay at the Menzies once again to enjoy the hotel and its special services..

The hotel was very well located but the noise between the rooms were terrible. Evertime the room next door flused their toilet or had a shower you could hear the water (especially early in the morning and late at night). We could hear the arguments in the next room too. I had a great time at the Menzies. It was the best location with shopping centres, bars and eateries right outside the door. The room was also very comfy and althought I thought it was a bit small it wasn't a problem at all. Very service orientated. Helped with extra things eg charging Electronic Devices, Theatre tickets, Sight=seeing . Public Transport. Breakfast service excellent.

Good location for staying & getting around the city, room was clean and room rate was good - only issue was the TV was very small & my thoughts that every hotel room needs at least a 40 flat screen in todays world!!

Convenient for either walking or taking public transport to various tourist sights. Helpful staff

I was disappointed in this hotel. We arrived in the rain, my husband dropped me off while he went to park behind hotel. There were only 2 spaces at front. I struggled in while two conceige staff chatted. The same applied when we left. The room was clean but was supposed to feature a queen bed. One man can make a difference in a hotel and this guy is the real deal and in a league of his own. He sorted out a great room for me on both trips to this property.

from the first i was impressed with the look and the service at the menzies, andrew the conceirge was wonderful and so helpful, as was all the staff that we interacted with. thes best thing was for convenience the hotel had an awesome location, it was right near the train and bus station, and has a taxi stand right out front. circular quay and the opera […] house was a short walk away. bottle-o right across the road and a bookshop arpound the corner kept both my partner and i happy. the only flaws i could think of were the room wasn't that big, there were mysterious switches that didn't seem to do anything and the airconditioning was confusing. the hotel pool isn't a large(it's not that deep) one but it doesn't get busy, and it would be suitable for children. all in all i would def stay there again and recommend it to others. 더 보기

The beds were extremely unconfortable. The mattressess in our room should be replaced. It is not acceptable to charge a high rate for unacceptable sleepinmg comfort,

Really good location directly opposite the Wynyard (?) Railway station just 20 minutes from Sydney airport. Surrounding area is excellent with ready access to shops, restaurants, both harbours and the major sights. Unfortunately the room was frankly shabby and the carpets in the hallways were badly stained and ripped, the elevators smelt stale. Just […] one night there so managed alright - would not have wanted a longer Sydney stay to be located here. Value for money was OK but for literally an extra $30-$40 per night we could have stayed at the Marriott or the Hilton where I have stayed before and they are both excellent standard and location. 더 보기

Had a comfortable stay and the hotel was very convenient and close to all ammenities.

The Menzies is very centrally located within easy walk to Kings Wharf / Darling Harbour, the Rocks and Circular Quay, the city and all good restaurants,bars and many attractions. The hotel is clean and live-able but the rooms are a little tired and could do with an upgrade.

The Menzies Hotel was fantastically positioned in Sydney right in the CBD and opposite an underground station on a direct route to the airport. Our room was large and had the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on in a hotel. Would definitely stay there again

Found the Menzies Hotel better than expected for the room rate. It has that old worldy charm. The service by staff, comfort of the room and choice of breakfast in the dining room was excellent, but found the lifts not working properly. The only bad point... The internet connections are a rip off... much too expensive, but as there are internet cafés everywhere it is not a problem.

Was great!! I needed an early checkin I rang 2 weeks before and 48 hrs to remind them and got in before 2 everything was paid for because through hotels.com staff were great!!!!

Not impressed with the service. At time of booking we were told that parking was free. However we had to pay $45.00. The worse was that the hotel staff had no idea of guiding were to park. Had to do 2 rounds before getting to the car park. The car park staff and hotel reception were only interested in knowing when I will take the car away. This was a great place to stay. In terms of CBD location and price, I found this to be a great choice. We stayed on the 14th floor with a Park view which was great because we weren't bothered with the traffic noise. The room was well appointed and very neat and tidy.

Nice hotel at the prime location. All tourist attraction at the walking distance. Pool was nice. Parking access from lobby. Station with fast foodd etc accross the street.

Very clean and comfortable, across the road from Vinyard train station and about four blocks from Darling Harbour

Hotel is in a great location. Cross the road and your in Wynyard Train station! Room was not flash but comfortable. However the view from the window was straight into someone elses window. We couldn't tell this from the website and we weren't allowed to move. Price was very good for this area so shouldn't complain too much. I'm not sure if other hotels […] do this but The Menzies puts a $50/day hold on your credit card for "incidentals" which we weren't aware of until we couldn't pay for our dinner! We had trouble with late night revellers making noise but the hotel staff dealt with them fairly quickly. They were generally very helpful and pleasant. Concierge desk helped us immensely with travel plans. Overall a good stay but specify a view if you want one. 더 보기

We had an excellent one night stay at the Menzies! Dined in the restaurant-Delicious! Listened to some great music in the piano bar. Great location & within walking distant to great shopping & attractions. A most enjoyable stay, will definitely be back in the near future!

We booked this last minute, the staff were polite, and VERY helpful, close to the station, and the room was neat and clean, def going to stay again

Wonderful location right oppersite the train station, room very comfortable and everything in there that is needed. Staff very friendly and profesional. The only thing I could pick is not enough room to put your suitcases but the rest was perfect.

The location is great, right next to the train station to get to the airport, a matter of minutes to Pitt st mall, for shopping and very close to other attractions in Darling Harbour. Had to move rooms late at nit due to an issue with the power. Not a big deal though.

the hotel was a very clean and the service is very good and the location was fantastic . and just were very accessable to all the buses and train station. and over all we did love everything about it.

The Menzies hotel was much better than we expected for the money we paid. Very classy reception with helpful and friendly staff. The room itself was generous, had loads of tv channels and a fabulous shower! The outlook from the hotel was a lovely green park and also right opposite the train station. Very convenient for all tourist attractions and the […] city centre. If we were to be really picky, our only 2 complaints would be that the heating vents were a little noisey in the room and they could be a bit more generous with the free wifi.
