Very relaxing pool, sauna and jacuzzi after a full days shopping!

The staff and service were outstanding. We thought the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The breakfast was perfect for our family. The pool/spa facilities were very nice as well. The bathroom was a bit tired and could some updating. We would definitely come back.

Hotel is close to centre but is not a 4 star

My friends and I stayed at the crowne plaza Leeds in December 2011, for one night. We had a great stay, the hotel was excellent and I can honestly say the staff were outstandingly helpful, polite and friendly. Not too far from Leeds centre, just 10-15 minute walk to station, but a quiet business district. Great value on line (buy the breakfast with the room rate as much more expensive on the day). Rooms comfortable and smart - good value at the price.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel - Abigail who works on receprtion was wonderful, she told us where to go & what to do, i had a 10 yr old with me who thought Abigail was lovely. Our room was lovely & we ate at the hotel & really enjoyed the food. It's in a great spot literally 5 mins from the station we will definately stay here again.

I have never stayed in a hotel where you have to pay for the internet,having to pay for parking is another failure,we found it difficult to get the room warm,and the heating system was noisey,other than that it was a good stay,but i'm sure i could find another hotel for the same price without the negatives i've mentioned.

Fantastic over night stay all round!!! Will definitely stay again! Staff were brilliant hotel clean food great! Highly recommend!

Nice hotel, good facilities, good location and friendly staff. I have booked to stay there again and would happliy recomend.

Water pressure in the shower was dire but we were on the 5th floor. Staff were great and location pretty good about 10 min walk to station

Nice hotel but overpriced. The food in the hotel was very expensive and the dining room was empty as most of the guests seem to eat out. Breakfast was very average.

An excellent hotel, & only a short stroll from the train station & main shopping area. The room was very comfortable, clean & well presented. The restaurant was similar, with a good choice of hot & cold food at breakfast. The only down sides were that the drinks were a bit pricey, & on-site car parking was extra, even for residents. Good pool and Gym. Breakfast expensive

I found the hotel clean and well kept in an ideal location just minutes away from the city centre. The staff were all polite and friendly and assisted our every need. Although the health club was on the small side it offered everything you need with a decent sized pool and when it's inclusive in the stay you cannot complain! Certain things can really put you off a hotel, and sadly this one hit a few of the wrong buttons with me from the outset. First its badly signposted, so by the time you realise you have reached it, you've gone past the entrance, and have to drive round the block to get back to it. Second, they had ignored my booking request for a room with two beds, […] and gave me one with just one double bed, so I had to ring down to get that sorted. The room was ok, but there were issue such as a broken piece of metal sticking out of the wire soap holder in the shower. It was reasonably clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to keep it cool once the sun was up. The hotel was quite close to the city centre, but difficult to get to by road because of the one way system. The surrounding area was not good - I wouldn't want to walk around there, it had nothing to attract one. Breakfast was good, but expensive. 더 보기

Decent big modern-enough hotel. 4 star is a fair rating. room could have done with a dust right enough and was too hot after being subject to the afternoon sunshine - with a poor aircon unit.

Had family room, two double beds, very comfortable, good spa facilities, decent location not too far to walk to centre. Will be back

Hotel was good,just a few things we thought would improve our stay would be for rooms to have ipod docking stations and a list of restaurant and bar sevice times. The bathroom in our room could also do with a bit of an upgrade such as new tiles and a shower screen rather than a shower curtain. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted to simply stay away from home (and the kids) for the night. We live in Leeds and know the city well, so it made sense to stay local. We've both been in the bar of the hotel so knew what it was like. We checked in early at 1.30pm which was no problem as they said our room was ready. […] We enjoyed a lovely romantic night away and had some quality time together that you often don't get with busy family life. The staff were very accommodating and the hotel and rooms very clean and pleasantly decorated. We added breakfast and this was very good, there was varied choice full english, continental, fruit etc We upgraded to a deluxe suite and received complementary bottled water, wine, fruit and chocolates. I wouldn't recommend this, I did not see the standard room so cannot comment on them, but all we could see that would be different in the deluxe room was a desk with table light and extra telephone - no good to us. Also, we had to ask for wine, fruit and chocolates twice!!! My husband was rather embarrassed when we asked the second time but afterall we had payed for them. We were not given the choice of wine so when a small bottle of red (we both hate red) arrived we were rather dissapointed but took it no further, the fruit was nice but again not very generous and it was two small chocolates. Hardly worth the upgrade price I felt. We also did not receive our complimentary newspaper - but had forgotten about this until we got home anyway. All in all I would recommend this hotel. It's close enough to the city centre to enjoy it but alittle out of the way so its not too noisy or on top of everything. The spa was a great bonus and the overall price I thought was good. 더 보기

Me and my friends stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Feb which had an excellent location from the city centre and 5 minutes walk along the road from the station. Us girls felt very posh in our room which came if chocolates on our pillows and a robe with slippers to make our stay more comfy!!! shame we had to visit the pubs ooh and the pool 2. We stayed for just one night with my 6 yr old neice-booked especially for the pool (access is free for guests) and she LOVED it! Room was great, big comfy beds, breakfast had everything you could want. Slightly off the beaten track but still within walking distance of shops etc. Great value, great hotel. Would definitely go back.

Having read some of the reviews, we were slightly worried about the quality of the hotel. But it was superb - fantastic staff who couldn't be more helpful, excellent food and good location for walking into Leeds centre. Child friendly too. Good customer service. Nice, roomy, clean room. Really helpful staff at the gym. Facilities were great, good gym and swimming pool. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Leeds in September 2010 for one night while visiting family. The Crowne Plaza is often among the cheaper hotels in central Leeds, which led to me to expect it to be located a long distance from the city centre. However, I was surprised to find it was only a short walk from the railway station, Millennium Square […] and the rest of that end of town. It would be a bit further to walk to the main shops, but no problem to anyone fully able-bodied. The area is on the outskirts of the city centre, close to the railway station and located on a road consisting of hotels, a few bars (including a strip club or two!) and restaurants, and business premises. The hotel itself was grand and impressive in appearance (although from the outside you would never guess), with comfortable and smart rooms. The bathroom was dated and showed signs of wear and tear, and a light switch was not working in our room, but generally standards of maintenance were high and everything was very clean. The bed was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable - my husband wanted to ask where they bought the mattress as it gave his arthritic back no problems at all, which is very unusual as he always wakes up with back pain after staying in hotels. We did not have any meals so cannot comment on the quality of food or room service. Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel, and with the price, and we would definitely stay here again. My husband is very picky and has high standards, so his seal of approval is quite a compliment! 더 보기

We parked the car overnight for £7.50 from first thing Saturday morning til Sunday lunchtime, which i thought was areasonable rate. About 5-10 min walk to the shops, as hotel is set in business area but it's not far to walk to centre. Service within the hotel was very good. Overall a very nice hotel!

My wife and I spent a wekend in this hotel, An excellant hotel and facilities, the room upgade is worth the extra cost, as includes,wine,friuit,chocates,mints, water, relax sprays, tea & coffee etc.. Staff very helpfull and friendly, Hotel has a Pool , jaccuzi, steam and suana, no extra costs, ideal location 10mins walk into town. Great last minute price, hotel was further out of Leeds centre than expected, but not too far out overall. Bathroom was dated, other than that, no complaints given the price paid.

stayed here for 2 nights and stay was pleasant. Rooms were nice and modern, bathrooms could do with update. Staff friendly and cost of car park competitive for city centre hotel (15 weekend rate). 5 - 10 minute walk into centre, good location and easy to find. Would recommend and stay again.
