very nice stay! We needed a good sized gym to accommodate a sports team. This hotel fit the bill!

Very close to the mall. Room was clean, and spacious. Room service was very fast and food was very good. However, we had some security and noise issues and the hotel staff was not responsive to these situations. There were loud parties, fights, doors banging until 5am, swearing and yelling (we were actually extremely concerned about the safety of the […] woman or women in the room next to us as we could here loud fighting, swearing, crying). We could also smell people smoking "pot," and we were pretty sure there were two rooms on our floor a few rooms down from ours that were being used to sell drugs from all night long for our entire stay. We reported our concerns to the hotel desk, but again, then we were concerned for our own safety and that of the small children we had with us. We asked to be moved to a "safer" floor and were told all the rooms were booked and no other rooms were available. So, we decided to shut up at that point, lay low and keep our kids close and our doors locked. Too bad, as it's a nice hotel otherwise and right where a family would want to stay for a mall visit. The rooms are perfect for families, as is the pool, the breakfast buffet, etc. But, we might think about staying elsewhere next time. And, we were a bit disappointed at the lack of concern from the hotel staff and management. We also had a hard time with communication with many of the hotel staff, as many of them did not speak English very well. They were kind and friendly, but didn't seem to understand our request most of the time - and we struggled understanding their instructions to us, too. 더 보기

the parking was a joke and the resturant staff didnt give a dam about any thing you need to take lessons from crowne plaza beijing

The hotel was located with easy access to the airport and MOA. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a very short stay but I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel experience was great, value for the dollar, excellent. I paid extra to eat the breakfast and wish I had'nt. Everything was cold, even the hot items that were supposed to be hot. Even paid an extra $ for my daughter to eat as well. Wont be eating there again!

This hotel is NOT across the street from MOA, despite what you may be told. More like 1/2 mile away. Typical overpriced hotel restaurant. Bar ok. Pool to far from most rooms to enjoy.

Karen the hotel manager was awesome. upon initial check in the room was sub-standard...stains on carpet, marks on the wall and didnt seem as nice as i was thinking it would be. Karen upgraded me to a larger room with a very nice view and I was definately more satifisfied. Thank you so much making the adjustments.

Hotel has everything you could ask for.

Very dated and well used hotel. In major need of an update. Very harsh and uncomfortable. Beds are every bit of 20 plus years old. Like sleeping in a soup bowl. Many, better hotels near.

The room was clean; there were earplugs and an eye mask in a little bag on the bed. Even though I was near the elevator, I didn't hear it during the night. I didn't hear any planes either. The shuttle drivers were courteous and helpful. The dinner service was a bit slow in the restaurant, but the food was good.

Sorry to say but was a little disappointed with the fact that this was a mini vacation with 3 kids and the internet had shown that there was a game room and come to find out that the hotel had been remodeled and that the game room was no longer there. I also paid extra for the king suite with the breakfast and only received 2 vouchers for breakfast […] which was never told to us we were thinking that everyone in the room received a free breakfast since i had pd. for it, so we we're a little disappointed with nothing for the kids to do but swim. 더 보기

I would definitely come back to this hotel whenever I'm in Minneapolis.

When I booked the room I requested a non-smoking room. Upon opening the door to our room, a very distinctive smoke odor was immediately noticeable. The room had non-smoking signs on the door, and in the room but you could smell the smoke odor. I went down to the front desk and asked to be switched to another room, but was told the hotel was booked solid […] for the night. The best they could do was send someone up to deodorize the room. An employee came up and basically sprayed a strong air freshner around the room. I was told by the employee that the whole floor (12th) had previously been a smoking floor as recently as July 2011, I stayed over the Labor Day weekend , 2011. While they had converted the whole floor to a non-smoking floor, they neglected to change the furniture, curtains, carpet, in which the smoke smell had saturated into. Not a good thing. So if you plan on staying here and want a non-smoking room, make sure you are not staying on the 12th floor. So needless to say I was not happy with my stay as I am alergic to the smoke smell. In addition, the pictures on Hotels.com really made the hotel seem nicer than it was in person. I would definitely rate the hotel at most as being 3 stars. 더 보기

We requested a king suite which we got but the room was horribly small no room to walk very cramped and irritating with kids

the reason for my low rating on the two first question is that we had to make 3 request to get the power to our fridge and tv our food went bad in the fridge and we notify front desk when we checked in and found that the power was not working

Upon check in the desk staff did not inform us of any hotel ammenities, where to park, how to enter from parking, etc. Our room had a dirty wash cloth in bathroom on counter (assume from maid cleaning). Refrigerator froze everything we put in so went back to using a cooler. Location was convenient to mall, etc. Would not stay there again.

This was a far better experience than the Westin Downtown. Better room, Better service. Great access to the airport but nothing to do in the surrounding area. Highly reccomend this hotel.

Staff was friendly and accomodating, wi-fi and parking were included and the room was clean, comfortable and good value for the price.

I was attending a Reptile Expo at the Crowne Plaza hotel and my girlfriend and her sister wanted to visit the Mall of America. This hotel offered us a clean, affordable, and incredibly convenient way to do all those things. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms was slow at times but it was always working in some respect. The room was good but a little on the small side, the fitness and pool facilities were excellent. Staff was very helpful. Very close to the light rail line to get to the mall of America. Overall a good deal.

The hotel was clean, friendly, and the rooms were just what was expected. With the convienent location on the light rail transit line to the mall and downtown we will stay again!

Great service and an extremely friendly staff. Corrected any errors without a hassle. Will stay there again in the future.

I like the hotel but the management was very rude to my family and me. They didn't even greet us when we walked through the door.

Nice gym and great pool

As we approached the hotel, my husband wanted to switch hotels, as this one was not very inviting. It didn't get any better upon entering the lobby, going up the elevators, and walking down the poorly lit, outdated and bland hallway. However, once we got to the room...a corner King suite...we were pleasantly surprised. It was beautifully appointed and […] certainly a departure from the rest of the hotel. It contained a sitting room with a sofa bed, a bathroom in the hallway, and then the bedroom with a king bed. Our two girls shared the sofa bed without complaints. Our bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows...sheets were cheap, but fine. Our only real complaint in the room was the A/C unit was beside our bed, so for the girls in the living room to get any cold air, we had to be freezing as it blew across our bed. So someone was always a little uncomfortable. The hotel had an amazing gym, and even more amazing pool and hot tub...both of them huge! We enjoyed those both nights of our stay. There is a game room pictured on their website...this is NOT there anymore. Apparently when they remodeled, they took out the game room, but failed to remove it from their web site, so our girls were disappointed at that. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. It was less than 5 minutes from Mall of America, and they did offer a shuttle every two hours, although we drove our own vehicle. Overall, I would say for the money, it was a nice suite...they just need to remodel the rest of the hotel to match. Of course, when they do that it will be more expensive! Very nice place, great location, the beds are very poor. That's the only complaint

Room was not vacuumed when moving in. Came back from being out all day, and the room hadn't been cleaned. They responded quickly, but sheets never got changed. Would not recommend to any of my friends to stay here.

We flew into Minn. early in the AM and the Crown Plaza accommodated our early arrival with an 8 am check in. Room large and comfie. Services excellent. Will stay there again next time when in Cities,

When we checked in the hotel seemed very nice. However when we got up to our room the story changed. The room was the size of a shoebox to start off with. Then when we we looking for the guest directory to find out what time the pool was open and stuff we found what looked like syringe caps in the drawer next to our bed. We called the front desk immediately […] and they got us a new room. However the new room had hair all over the pillows. We did not feel comfortable to stay there at that point so we left and went to a different hotel. The front desk staff were very nice and completely understanding as to why we were leaving. 더 보기

We are from Chicago. This trip to the Mall of America was a Christmas gift to our three kids for them to be able to "shop" for their gifts which teens love to do. With the cost of the airfare, and the monetary gift are expenses were already pretty high so I chose this hotel because it offered a suite to accommodate 5 persons and they offered free shuttle […] service to/from airport/Mall. Unfortunately, this hotel only had two shuttles. ONE to/from the airport and ONE to/from the Mall. The shuttles were nondescript, i.e., white van with a 10in x 12in Holiday Inn sign on the side door and a small black shuttle bus with no indication that it belonged to the Holiday Inn at all. The shuttles were consistently late arriving at the Mall to return guests to the hotel and, with temps in the single-digits, waiting for them was frustrating. When you see 5 shuttles within 4 minutes for all of the other surrounding hotels, the frustration increases even more. Also, the only nearby restaraunts the shuttle will take you to are in the Mall. Once the Mall closes, so do the restaurants. We had to take a $22 cab ride to a Denny's 2 miles away. This hotel boasts about becoming a Crowne Plaza in early 2011. There is NO WAY they are going to accomplish this goal unless they really step it up by adding at least 4 more shuttles and hiring people who actually appear to enjoy their job. Sad to say, but next time we will stay at a Hampton Inn, Marriott or Embassy Suites. 더 보기

This was a nice hotel for the money. We came for a Viking preseason game and caught the rail to the stadium and it was very slick and nice not to have to park with a packed stadium. Bedding was nice and it was clean. My son enjoyed the pool. We went to a nearby IHOP for breakfast. I would stay there again.

The hotel was a place of refuge after a flight from Iceland and all the airport drills. But I had to call another Holiday Inn to get this hotel's phone number fro the airport shuttle.

The toilet and air conditioner could individualy keep the dead awake. Both needed servicing. The map we had was poor - we had difficulty finding this hotel in the dark late at night. The parking situation was not clear. The breakfast buffet was way too expensive for what was served.

Great location - easy access to the Mall of America
