There were two problems. The TV was not working properly. We told the front desk well before the program was on. She called the maintenance worker and he never responded to his call . That same night while using the dryer there was a problem . The front desk was helpful but the maintenance still did not respond to the call from the front desk .

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. Everything was clean and good working order. I had an indoor pool, free breakfast and indoor putting green.

GOOD LOCATION/CLEAN/OK SERVICE/GOOD PRICE/BATHROOMS NEED UPDATING

I checked in for a one-night stay near Colonial Williamsburg. The lobby was clean, bright, and I was met immediately by a member of guest services. The check in was smooth, no complaints! I was pleasantly surprised that both the beds were tempurpedic mattresses, yowza!! The mattresses were awesome, the linens were clean. The toiletries were lacking […] sophistication, but they served their purpose. The bathroom was clean, plenty of fluffy towels, and excellent water pressure. The hotel is surrounded by several Houses of Pancakes, and the historic area is about 1 mile away, though not walkable. An excellent visit, and I would definitely stay there again! 더 보기

The hotel was satifactory for the price. They need to do some physical maintenance on the building.

The first room we got was dirty and stuffy. We were placed above the pool which was noisy. Second room had outside windows that did not latch properly and had to be propped up with a book. Not a great way to use the Bible! We did not sleep well due to our overall experiences. Hallway stairs had makeshift ramps and we hit our heads on the low ceilings […] using the ramps with our roller luggage. One elevator was broken. Food court area was dirty and chairs were stained ! The hotel was clean and basic. The pool area was neat with the pool, shuffleboard, and foosball table. The room were basic. Breakfast room was understaffed -- tables not cleaned or wiped down, long lines for toasters (why not add a few more?), even longer lines for waffles. Big problem for families with hungry kids.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is as nice as it is. The pool was nicer than the majority of the pools I have seen in more expensive hotels and the work out room was great for my teens. I was impressed with the continental breakfast.

This hotel needs some update. The TV in the room is very old. The widow is very old, one of glass droped to the ground in the early morning around 3am. Good part is that it did not broken. The breakfast is good, and there is a pool inside though we did not use it.

The price was good with free breakfast and indoor pool. Check out time was at noon which the kids can have a final swim before leaving. The pool was warm enough and the breakfast room was large.Good for kids since it is a non smoking hotel with microwave and refrigerator. Though there were no issues with my room or stay, it concerned me that every time I walked past the front desk, there was an issue. At check in a woman was handing the front desk a large bug in a Ziploc bag. While swimming, a large clump of hair was floating in the pool. At checkout, a guest was being comped because there was pet urine in her bed. So […] given those incidents, I'm pretty sure I would not stay there again. 더 보기

This is a would not recommend hotel. The customer service was deplorable. The hotel in general was fair. Location good.

Old hotel renovated, not a slum, but not great. From the outside you could see into some windows on the ground floor and it appeared that people are living in the hotel, because of bookshelves home decor and such. Even in a hall way you could see a home sweet home sign hanging on a door. The hallways are weird, steps every 25 feet down with a low roof […] , my hubby hit his head.lol On those steps they have carpet covered plywood for wheelchair access that is not bolted down. The room had two small windows instead of one big one. And a older tv. There was no mattress, just yellow foam covered in a sheet. my 9 y/o son and I were in Yorktown for a baseball tourny and stayed here. the hotel was clean, our room was clean, the pool was clean, the breakfast was good--everything was fabulous!! going to stay here again when we come up to Busch Gardens during Spring Break

There was a most pleasant young lady at the front desk who seemed to be there 24-7, and we even teased her about working all the time. She should be commended for dedication, as well as attitude.

The hotel was lovely and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Very convenient to all attractions and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

It was okay for a weekend trip - would not recommend for a long one.

This by far was one of the best hotels we have stayed in while traveling with our pet. No added fees or deposits and the room was nice. Close to all sites in Williamsburg. We will definitely stay there again.

Had to change room twice, but very easy. Somone smoked in first one. Lock wasn't working in second. Changed without problem. Dog loved it.

I am overall happy with the hotel and the price. I could comment on my bed not being as comfortable as other rooms where my friends were staying they had nova foam mattress, but beside that everything was great. Nothing fancy for breakfast the norm. I would say for the amount of money pay it is definitely your money's worth. Sincerely, Touraj

Is "Pet friendly". Few hotels are. Motel 6 is but who wants to stay there? Additional charges and big deposits say to me that those places really don't want my business. This place in Williamsburg was just fine for me, a bit far from the attractions but still a good solid value. I signed up for a return card.

Room was more than adequate but the fridge was far from cold. You need to either get new fridges or take them out of the cabinet where they will get more air around them

Had a relaxing stay

The hotel was convenient to the area sights and tourist items but the bed was hard as a rock and could have been cleaner. TV was really small and when sitting on the bed it was across the room. The ramps they have on the stairs are a fall hazard just waiting to happen!

Pics on hotels.com are not the actual hotel. Beds were nice memory foam mattresses, but the rest of the room just looked old. Hotel is decently maintained but could use a renovation. Plus - it's very close to downtown and colonial Williamsburg.

We planned a last minute trip for New Years and the La Quinta was the perfect spot because they are pet friendly and conveniently located to the attractions we wanted to see. Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Shopping all with in minutes. The area around the hotel is residential so I felt comfortable out walking our dogs. The overall stay was okay..since this was in a non peak season. The AC and Elevators are old but considering the price it was okay stay I have to say.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, plumbing and heating worked fine. Nothing fancy but just fine for a quick trip to Colonial Williamsburg.

This is my 2nd stay at this facility and I like its all around staff courtesy, location, and well kept rooms. If you are sensitive to chlorine pool fumes ask for a room not over looking the pool.

a little rundown. could use new carpeting. complimentary breakfast was not the best but OK. close enough to our destination so that was good. For the price you could not beat the value

The hotel was wonderful. The rate (winter) was so reasonable that we were able have two rooms, one for my husband and me and the other for our older adolescent girls. The pool was beautiful. The rooms clean, the breakfast ample.. The location, right near Williamsburg Colonial Center. All this and pet friendly too without an extra charge. Nice amenities, good location, clean comfortable room, the only drawback was the early housekeepers. They arrived consistently between 9-9:30.

the room was outdated and kind of dirty. THe shower curtain had mold growing on it. THe beds were mediocre and the tv was old and had terrible reception. The breakfast was alright except for the colored commentary by the janitor. He was completely annoying. I don't think I would go back. Not worth the money.
