I thought the hotel was very nice. The lobby area was very inviting. When we checked in they gave us a warm cookie. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room temp was too hot and was unable to set a comfortable temp...too hot and I could not sleep!!!

Definate 5 star visit! Was extreme late arrival (midnight). The front desk associate was very friendly, accomodating and friendly. We expected to be receive the least desirable room since we were the last reservation to check in, but was heavily impressed upon entering the room. It probably rivaled the best in hotel! All accomodations met or exceeded […] expectations. This was a second visit to this location within a few years and this visit was every bit as great as the one prior. Will definately return when visiting the St Louis area again this summer. 더 보기

If not for the 'third night free' I would have felt ripped off. Just my luck I was staying 3 nights anyway. I guess most of the amenities were OK. The work-out room is tiny, really tiny. We had many family members at funeral.Looking for basic hotel at good price.This did the job well.

The room was not large enough for our family... I thought that there was going to be a pull out couch, but there was not,, so we had 2 queen size beds for my husband, me, and our 4 children. There was not a lot of room to move around because the beds took up most of the room. I was happy that the room had a mini frigde, but I was disappointed that the […] bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. When we went to the pool, it was full of children (some of which were attending a birthday party) so it was very loud. The flooring around the pool was uncomfortable on our feet because it was tiny pebble stones and my daughter scraped her heel on the steps getting into the pool. We only planned on staying one night, so it served it's purpose, but I would not stay there on a family trip again in the same room. 더 보기

This hotel is in a pretty nice location, we found it very easy to get downtown, to the zoo, etc. The highway system is great and it's easy to get around. It's also next to Westport Plaza, with comedy club, bars, restaurants, etc. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice. Nice pool / hot tub area and also nice workout room. This was the best mini vacation my family has taken. The hotel was clean, the people were helpful and friendly. Everything was within 20 miles of the hotel. Had a great time. Even got advise on where to eat and places to visit.

The room was not new and floor did not seem to have been vacuumed. The beds were worn out and were very uncomfortable. Our door looked like it was open when we approached the room and the door handle seemed to be broken. The room was very small.

It was a good stay. Restaurant was the only downside. The food was just acceptable but the prices were high. Service in the restaurant was only adequate, understaffed for the number of guests.

Staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is comfortable and quiet. I really enjoy staying at the Doubletree in Westport and will continue to stay there when I visit St. Louis.

We enjoyed our stay, but there were a few quirks. The hot tub was not working in the pool area and the pool was dirty. The room was in need of some attention, but the bed was very comfortable. The staff was excellent, accomodating us perfectly. The location is in the middle of an industrial park. It was not easy to get to restaurants or a grocery store. […] We would have preferred to stay closer to attractions, rather than this commercial location. 더 보기

We love staying here. They have a shuttle to the airport and it is quiet here. The staff is always accommodating and courteous. The cookies are a wonderful touch. Thanks for the stay!!! Lori

Very nice hotel. Very quiet and comfortable. Had a situation with room cleanliness, but the hotel manager rectified it immediately. Great customer service. Overall, it is a very nice hotel and will look forward to staying there again.

The hotel and staff were great. However the parking lot security sucks. The first night my car was hit in the parking lot, and the second it was broken into.

Hotel was very nice and with good customer service. There was a convention going on, but still not too busy. Had the pool all to ourselves Friday night and good late room service.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Doubletree. Road construction around the hotel was my only negative. The room was nice and the pool, hot tub and gym were excellent. Of course the cookies were out of this world.

This hotel was clean and fairly modern. I would stay again.

Our room wasn 't to be cleaned until 6 p.m. on Sat. evening. I do know they were extremely crowded. For the price I was disappointed

We love this hotel and always stay here when we are going to St Louis for anything. The hotel has a very courteous staff, clean rooms and is super affordable. Hard to believe the rates for such a nice hotel. We don't travel alot but do visit St Louis approx. 3-4 times and always choose this location. We have had a couple of bad hotels in the same area […] and are amazed at the difference between them. This location is only 15-20 minutes from downtown St Louis so it is close enough to get down and see things but far enough to not be uncomfortable with traffic, noise, etc.. There are good places to eat at the Westport Plaza and there is also a Harrahs Casino close. We love this hotel and will definately be staying again as we have stayed maybe 4-5 times without any problems. Breakfast buffet is great and worth the extra money also. 더 보기

This was the most wonderful hotel experience I have had. The rooms including the bathrooms were so beautiful and I felt like I was being pampered. The beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to leave! The staff were nice, and the breakfast was great. Fantastic experience! Will come again!

Hotel was just OK. Room cleanliness was less than desirable but tolerable. Room was not cleaned on first day of stay without contacting front desk and then dispatching housekeeping. General cleanliness of hotel was just ok but not great. The hotel was extremely busy which I'm guessing was due to location and price, nothing else.

The hotel is near a constuction zone for the road system. The rooms looked kind of old and unkept. The people were friendly.The shower was kind of old nad just had a hand sprayer that you had to hold in your hand because it was to low and the water ran all over the bathroom floor because of the bad design. I thought it would be a nicer hotel.

We were traveling on business to the area and wanted to bring our son and daughter along. We chose this hotel because of the advertised 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper. Unfortunately, there was no sleeper, so sleeping arrangements were not what we had in mind. We brought our children here for a weekend trip. The hotel was very, very busy as there was a family reunion going on and a dog show. (I like dogs but it was kind of gross and smelly being in an elevator with 8 of them). The hotel staff was friendly and the room was adequate. The biggest issue was the elevators. They were extremely slow and every single […] time you went to get on one, you had to wait in line. The first night, we ordered pizza and while I was waiting in line after visiting the ATM in the lobby, the delivery guy was waiting in the same line to get up to our room. He told me that there's always a line at the elevator and that they're slow each and every time he has made a delivery to the hotel. The evening we arrived, I tried to call down to the front desk for an extra blanket. I tried the "Careline" button on the phone, which is this hotel's direct line to getting you whatever it is you might need. I called several times and the phone just rang. I tried the front desk and housekeeping and still, received no answer. Finally, after about 30 minutes, I was able to speak to someone and they brought us up an extra blanket. The hotel does have a pool, which was very cloudy but the kids were just glad to be able to swim a little. We stayed two nights, so our room was cleaned the day after we arrived. We placed all of our towels in the bathtub so that the maid would have them all in one place and would know we wanted them replaced. She took the towels, however, after returning to our room well past 10pm, hot and sweaty and ready for a shower, she hadn't left one single towel to replace the ones she took-not the wash cloths, not the hand towels and not the bath towels. Not one complimentary toiletry item was replaced-my daughter and I used the shampoo and conditioner, since we had been swimming the night before. I called the "Careline" and they brought us fresh, warm towels within a short time period. The room was quiet and even with all that was going on in the 더 보기

We should have been notified, that as part of a large wedding party staying at the DoubleTree, that there was also a dog show. It was an incredible mess. Dog debrie everywhere, and noise. Elevators that took 15-20 minutes to cycle. I ended up finding the service elevator. All in all, a pretty miserable experience. I don't have a particular problem with […] the dogs. This hotel offers a quality stay at resonable rates. Great renovated rooms, lobby and facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would consider returning next time I'm in the area.

We came around the 4th of July weekend and the streets that surrounded the building were under construction which made it incovient to enter and exit the parking lot. When we arrived we were notified that there would be a service charge put on hold from our checking account for each day then placed back 3-5 days after the stay which was not mentioned […] on this site. Housekeeping never came to our room. Our toilet over flowed and instead of mopping the floor they just put towels down. I will say that the room it self was nice and clean when we first arrived and that I liked the setup of the hotel. Honestly I expected more from the Hilton Brand for the amount of money that we spent. 더 보기

We stayed on the 2nd floor 4 nights over the 4th of July. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the breakfast and the pool very much. I liked the Starbuck's coffee. Our room was quiet. The maid service needs improvement, which is why I give it only a 3. There were paper coffee cups and breakfast dishes left on our tables when […] most other hotels remove them for you and return them to the kitchen. Needed vacuuming under furniture. Also, there was a disgusting hair clog in the tub drain, and after the repairman fixed it, the maid never got the grease off the tub. We also left our room at 2:00 one day, and the maid never came to make the beds. 더 보기

The hotel was very nice, but we had issues with getting locked out of our room on a couple occasions. The hotel was nice about compensation for this, such as free drinks and breakfast one day. Overall the stay was great!

The hotel was in a good location but the only draw back, you had go to a distance to get something to eat. Overall, I enjoy my stay.

I booked through Hotels.com. Room description included 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Having both a son and a daughter we needed the extra bed the sofa bed would provide and decided it was worth paying the extra 30 dollars compared to other hotels in the area. Turns out there was NO sofa bed and NO rooms at all in the hotel WITH a sofa bed. And, the […] room was so small that when provided a roll-away, we couldn't even lay it out. We had to stack furniture to make room for it. That was just the start of our terrible visit to the DoubleTree. We soon discovered that there where a total of 2 places in the entire room to plug in for electricity. NOT two outlets even - two plugs total. One in each of two lamps. That was reduced to one once a microwave was sent up. The rest of the stay was fight for that one outlet. Near the end of our first day I used that restroom and found myself with just a few squares of toilet paper. No problem right – I'll find the backup roll. NO backup roll. No problem – I'll use the tissue on the counter. TOTALLY EMPTY. I yell to my wife to call down and get me some help. She makes a call and we wait. No one EVER came to our door with toilet paper. My wife found some napkins from an earlier fast food snack and saved me. We ultimately swiped some toilet paper from the hotel lobby. These are just a few examples of how disappointing our stay was. No ventilation in the bathroom, beds so soft I had to ice my back, frig never got cold, etc, etc. I would expect this kind of room at a Best Western. I wasn't staying at a Best Western. I will staying at a Hilton DoubleTree. Seriously, I want some money back. 더 보기

Everything was great but the food for breakfast was over charged and when we tried to use the pool it was nothing but Kids ALL clowning around one jumped over my wife and kicked her in the head and then they were throwing a basketball into the air and catching it and they missed it one time and it hit her, i believe it should be cut off from kids after […] 9pm it was impossible for us to swim or enjoy the hot tub and that was one of the biggest reasons we picked this hotel 더 보기

I enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. The staff members were all very kind and the room was in excellent condition. I enjoyed my weekend tremendously. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone loking for a great hotel at a moderate price.

Double tree was a refreshing surprise for the price. The pool, the weight room, the warm cookies at check in, the polite staff. We had a great stay and our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This hotel is only 15-20minutes from all attractions in the st.louis area. Neighborhood seemed safe.
