Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was the tub drained very slowly. This is a dog friendly hotel that was so clean you wouldn't know it.

The location was good and close to a lot of stores. The only thing that I was upset about was the water backing up in the tub. It was always clogged and didn't want to give my kids a bath in someone else's gunk. Overall it was convinient for the 2 night stay we had.

Stuck at the airport and no rooms to find, I checked hotels.com as a last resort. I found the last room with Holiday Inn - Mesa. I was surprised at the size of the room, comfort of the bed, cleanliness of the bath and beautiful view. As a business traveler, it's the comfort of going back to your room after a busy day and not worrying about what you […] will find. There were not a lot of options but Hotels.com's reviews certainly helped make my decision. The host at the front counter was friendly. The phone didn't work and they repaired it immediately. I think the hotel location is awesome and the staff was awesome and friendly . I love the fact of room service and staff. I will b back!!

2nd time staying this year , happy with the service both times

The room was very nice and the amenities were great. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A/C unit a little loud all night long. Only had a choice of high cool or hIgh/low fan. In Phoenix during summer who chooses to use "FAN"? Would be nice to have MED cool for noise control at night, however day time needs the HIGH...!

the hotel looked like it was renovated. only had one desk worker for check-in so that took longer than expected. the room was clean and cool, great since it was hot that day. i did a couple of bugs flying in the room but not a big deal. the pool was awesome, it had cool water which was very relaxing. the waterfall was a nice touch. one worker saw a […] kid reaching for a rock on top of the waterfall and threatened to kick everyone out of the pool. not cool,all he had to do was say do not do that and leave. 더 보기

The lobby seemed new. We were booked into a suite and I was happy at first to have a little more room. It looked like the room had never been updated. Sure the linens were new but everything else was just dirty and nasty. The bathroom had no lighting. It was impossible to put make up on in there. The sink was so low it was uncomfortable to use and the […] shower head was so low it was impossible to take a decent shower. If we had booked the room for more then one night I would have checked out and gone somewhere else. The pool looked nice and refreshing. This hotel is not as nice or clean as it may seem in the pictures. The building is old...the parking lot is poorly lit at night (in not the greatest area). The interior was dark and had an "old musty" smell. The carpeting in the halls and the room needed some serious cleaning! But, for the price...I guess it wasn't the worst place I've stayed. The Hotel in Mesa Arizona was a very nice stay. The room was quiet and relaxing-wish I had more time, movie time woulld have been great. Great place to stay.

This hotel was about 6 minutes from everything we needed to do....I will definately stay here again. So easy to get to....close to everything.....we loved it!!!

Where do I begin with my complaints about this place! I was so disappointed that I actually made a list that I continued to add to during my stay. It was dark, poorly maintained, had dirty, stained carpets, the lamps were missing bulbs, the coffee amenities were half used and is right on top of the 60 freeway exit ramp creating tons of noise. When I […] arrived to the first room the shower drain was leaking. When I tried to adjust it so that it would stop I discovered it didn't work at all. When they moved me because maintence was already gone for the day I discovered too late that the next shower didn't drain. When I called after my ankle deep morning shower they came while I was gone for the day to fix it. The maintence staff obviously came after the cleaning staff because I came back to find hair and other leftovers in the tub. I only received new shampoo/soap/wash clothes one of the five nights I was there. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do drink tea which they did not provide. The beds didn't have comforters, just dingy old blankets, although I must say they were quite comfortable when you could get past the incessant noise outside the windows from the freeway. There were two good things about this place. The rooms were HUGE! Separate living room, bathroom, kitchen type area and bedrooms with separate doors. If you can get past the cons, the room would be great for a family because the parents could close the bedroom door and let the kids sleep on the couch bed in the living room. The second good thing was the comfy bed, if you can get past the dingy sheets/blankets. All in all I would definitely NOT return to this hotel. 더 보기

The room lived up to expectations and more. The room is perfect for families or thee persons as it was like a small suite with a main bedroom with door for privacy and then living -room area with pull-out bed. The bathroom is between. This allowed for privacy. I have friends with two children who were just looking for similar hotel suite in the Santa […] Cruz area and they couldn't find a hotel with suites. All I can say is that this hotel is an exceptional value in this day and age when paying more doesn't automatically guarantee quality or good service!

I honestly have no idea why people rate this 3/5 stars. It is pretty much like a 5 star hotel! Everything is so beautiful there and everything is neat and organized. Staff was very helpful when needed information and very knowledgeable of the area. Beautiful rooms, beautiful pool/spa area, beautiful surroundings. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Front desk staff were excellent. Beds were clean and comfortable. Pool was very nice. Our room had some smeary prints from a toddler with food-covered hands on the windows and dresser. My one big complaint is that the pool opens at 6:00am and both Sat. and Sun. mornings we were awakened by kids screaming in the pool at 7:00am.

The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is very helpful. It is a convenient location.

The staff were very nice and helpful, Great pool. Only issue we had was with the restaurant in the morning the serves was so slow that the second morning we got up and left after not getting our order taken 20 min after we were seated.

enjoyed our stay

We stayed just to take a break from our busy school and work schedules and were very impressed. The hotel was extremely comfortable, nice big bed, cute kitchenette area, and a large shower. The mall is a mile away, gave us a great choice of restauants and entertainment. The pool was great, and i never heard any other guests walking around or on either […] floor above or below. This is an outstanding hotel for the money. Our room was upgraded and we had luscious beds! The room was spacious, quiet, and well appointed. Hotel lobby and personel were very nice.

Our kng suite as everythingwe could have possibly hoped for! Beautiful, comfortable & teh staff was friendly & helpful. Great mattress too. the Sommerfelds

Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The pool area was great! A restaurant on the premise was convenient, but there were plenty of restaurants in the area.
