The Ramada is not close to the major attractions in Santa Barbara, including restaurants. But that's not the main problem--the hotel rooms are in such disrepair that they have painted over the missing wallpaper and failed to fix the plumbing and tile. The breakfast room is over crowded, and the food is ordinary--you are lucky if you can get a banana […] to go with your cold cereal. A poor selection is presented with the cheapest utensils possible. Great stay, we were visiting the UCSB campus. Staff were very helpful and it iss very close to the campus. I would definitely stay here again!!

the service first class, rooms great. Even supplied us with free toiletries that we had left behind at last motel. Lovely pool area and restful pond area.

Upon arriving at 1:30 AM, I was greeted by a lovely woman who literally ran to open the door for me (as the lobby is locked after a certain time of evening). She was cheerful and welcoming, and started off our time in Santa Barbara right. Our room was extremely clean, even to my exacting standards. Housekeeping was friendly, unobtrusive, and excellent. Keycards […] are used to access the building/inside stairs and individual rooms, which made me feel safe. I would be comfortable staying here alone if I was on the second floor. First floor has balcony (sliding glass door) access from the outside. Not the biggest room I've stayed in, but many accessible plugs, and a TV that had RCA and HDMI inputs available made me rate this four stars overall. I will stay here again when in SB. 더 보기

I come to Goleta frequently for overnight stays because my daughter attends UCSB. The Ramada is my Go To hotel. Clean, comfortable, convenient, friendly customer service. Always reasonably priced. I recommend the Ramada to friends wondering where to stay during a college visit. I'll keep coming back.

The customer service was the best we have had anywhere. Always willing to tell us where we should eat, calling a taxi, change for the vending machines, etc. It never seemed like a bother to them at all. They should be very proud of themselves. We have zero complaints! Can't wait to go back to Santa Barbara and stay there again!

Very clean and pleasant employees. I would definitely reccomend a garden or pool view room as they are much nicer, especially with the nice weather, you'll want to have your patio or balcony open.

I found that the Ramada Limited, located about 6 miles north of Santa Barbara, is in serious need of a major renovation. Hair dryers don't work, the carpets are badly worn, and the landscaping is seriously neglected. The in-room heating and a/c unit has no adjustable thermostat, so it's a question of freezing or roasting all night. The king size bed, […] however, was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is much too cramped. There is no cabinetry to store your toiletries. The very small sink/countertop is all you've got for storage, so leave your toothbrush at home. If you like hearing your next-door neighbor using the shower, this is the place to be. There appears to be no sound insulation whatsoever around the plumbing. BTW, my 'Mountain View' room gave me a spectacular view of the parking lot, and not much else. For the price per night, I don't expect a 5-star hotel, but this motel is ridiculously overpriced for what is is--an old, ramshackle facility needing a complete renovation from one end to the other. You can do much better at a Motel 6 in downtown Santa Barbara for considerably less money. The Auto Club really dropped the ball when rating this motel at 2-1/2 stars. 더 보기

Walls were dirty and thin - I could hear everything going on in the next room. Hairs everywhere. - filthy Do not recommend.

The Ramada was conveneient for our business purposes, but it was not great in many respercts. The room was small and not particularly comfortable. The refrigerator was noisy enough that I had to get up and turn it off in the middle of the night. The heating/cooling system was either ice cold or too hot, no matter how I tried to adjust it. I loved my stay. It was right across the street from IHOP. The front desk offered 20% discounts off IHOP and surrounding restaurants. It was on a bus line and everything was so convenient. I can't wait to go back and stay again in the fall. Everyone was so friendly. I am very pleased.

While there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, it wasn't that great. It was listed as three stars; I have stayed many two star hotels that were much nicer.

I actually had a nice stay here at ramada. i didnt think i was going to enjoy my stay here, but i did. I had a great view of the pond and the Hotel guest are very polite. I would be happy to stay here again.

Ambince was nice. Our son had fun feeding the ducks. Great breakfast. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms need a little upgrade. Nice view of the pond and pool from our room with balcony. We would stay again.price was just rigt for a quick getaway,

In need of renovation. The bathroom ceiling and walls were covered with mold. The sliding glass door screen was bent up. Hotel looked and smelled like it was right out of the 1970s. The staff was very nice and helpful.

We were looking for a less expensive hotel and this place fit the bill. For the price, we got everything we asked for. But best of all we left a very expensive watch in our room and the hotel staff found it and returned to us.

We have doctors appointments in Santa Barbara, away from home. A great place to stay, nice people and great rooms.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada. It was comfortable, nice and quiet. My son loved it. The room was clean, it and was perfect for my family. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with all the choices they had. The area of the pool was well taken care of with warm water for this winter time.

Rooms are bit old but clean and its value for money. Good for a night stay.

when it comes to hotel advertising never trust the pictures

The hotel looked a little run down. Once you got in, it was not too bad. The room was comfortable and it suited our needs.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a few nights near to Santa Barbara. We found this hotel to be adequate, but the pool that was supposed to be heated wasn't very warm. The hot tube was great, though. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff was very busy keeping up with the guests and their appetites. The landscaping is very pretty […] and well maintained. The front desk staff were very nice and efficient. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Santa Barbara and the surrounding towns. 더 보기
