I really thought the night desk person was very helpful. Can't say the same about the day shift, when I checked in. The hotel is clean and looks good, but the walls are thin.

Although I knew going in that it was an older hotel, I didn't expect there to be holes in the bedspread or moths flying around the room. The chair in the room was dirty and I was disappointed with the service. My TV remote didn't work and when I asked the guy at the front desk about it, he complained all the way up the stairs about having to fix it. […] If you were to ask me if I would stay there again.....the answer would be ABSOLUTELY NOT. 더 보기

Fairy clean. Some odor in the hallway. Very old looking building, but good value for the price.

I know that you ge waht you pay for when it comes to a room but I think this was a little over the top with discomfort. Just a couple weeks ago I wacthed undercover bass and it was on travel lodge hotels. I remember the CEO being very unhappy with one place that just did quick fixes, switched funiture and so on. Well I felt that the room I stayed in […] was way below what someone would be ok staying in unless you lived on the streets... then it would be the Hilton. The bed was as hard as a rock, yes it was a smoking room... and I've stayed in a lot of smoking rooms but never to the point where The smell was so bad that I didn't want to breath. I didn't even want to smoke in there myseld because I didn't want to make it worse. There was a table and two chairs. Both chairs were very worn and had holes in them with also coming apart at the seems. I am not a complainer... but you did send this e mail to me and I'm giving my honest opinion. I probably will not stay at a travel lodge again and would not recomend that one to anyone. I hope that you make improvements. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay while on business for a week. The room itself was fine, the bed was comfortable enough but had problems with the shower working (or not). It was fine as a place to crash, but I wouldn't take my wife there.

Front office staff very rude. Cleaning staff very nice! Room had ants! No fridge or micro as stated in ad, but they moved one from another room in. Cafe' next door not all that good and very slow. Fastfood real close, wallyworld across the street too. Would not stay here again no matter what the price, not even free!

Overall, it was not too bad. It was quiet and very easy to get to. The breakfast was good and quite convenient. The only thing I did not like, was the bed and the marijuana smoke.

The hotel is an older one, but overall not bad. The resteraunt at te hotel was fantastic and location was very convienient. Staff, including front desk and housekeeping, were all amazing in fixing certain situations.

Rude front desk staff that didn't care if we were there or not. Smelled smokey in the halls. Neighbors were noisy in room and hallway. Room smelled weird when we first walked in. Walls/ceiling in bathroom were badly cracked and peeling. There were only 2 pillows on the bed and they were both flat and TOTALLY uncomfortable. Even without heat on, room […] was hot... too hot. Worst night sleep EVER. Other guests looked sketchy, Toilet wouldn't flush properly and housekeeping gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves... classy. Its cheap... for a reason!! i enjoyed making a waffle for breakfast. The Super Wal-Mart across the street was fun to go to as well.

For the price we paid a night it was pretty nice! Except, the hallways smelt like pot and at 11pm the 1st night, the front desk guy was in the hallway yelling at a guest and they were fighting for about 10 min very loudly.

Wal-Mart next door and just out side city

The outside of the hotel needs some fixing up but the the rooms are certainly ok. It's not a luxury hotel, but it is clean and there is internet.

I enjoyed my stay here. I had a little trouble fiquring out how to turn on the water to the shower. I was an odd antiquated system. I'd stay here again.

previoius stays were better, this room was dingier and they did not have the promised microwave and fridge. nice enough staff but hit and miss on quality of room

For the price it was just OK. The place smelled old and like smoke. Even though the room was a non-smoking room, it had odors of cig's. The worst thing was no one cleaned or straighten up our room one day when I was out all day. I returned late a night only to have to deal with the night desk person for towels. Room was clean, and acceptable. It was definately not a Hilton, but it did not cost what a Hilton would cost. For the money, it was very adequate accommodations.

Very impressed with quality of this hotel. Was expecting something totally different.

I've stayed at this motel 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I was okay w/the room. I kept coming back! Wal-Mart is right across the street as well as Jack In The Box,Burger King and a gas station. Freeway entrance is 30 seconds away. The drive to PDX is about 25 minutes away,so plan accordingly.

The hotel was worn and the surrounding neighborhood was not great. The room was adequate but the walls were thin and because of neighboring guests arguing loudly into the wee hours, I didn't get a good nights sleep.

especailly for the price this was a real value. not fancy in any way but clean, quiet, and safe. staff was friendly and lots of amenieties nearby

I needed a downstairs due to bad knees, so I was given one. The moment I walked in, it smelled like urine. The carpet was old and outdated, the room and halls were outdated and it smelled like it used to be a smokers room at one time. Gresham/Portland is humid and it brings out those smells. The smell was in the bathroom so maybe the maid used the same […] unwashed mop for all and spread the smell, not sure. GROSS! No other room available. Did check out the bed and cover, they were clean and smelled clean. The toilet squeeled like a stuck pig when you flushed it too. The people were nice though. 더 보기

I was SO please with our stay at the travelodge. We stayed there so we could bike to a concert at the Edgefield and not worry about driving home after a lot to drink. The room was clean, we felt safe, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was super friendly! I was very impressed considering the price! I should not be surprised at the condition of this hotel it brings home the saying ' You get what you pay for.' This hotel was so bad, I gave up the money I paid for my room for my second night. On the surface, the room looked clean. However, the urine smell quickly overwhelmed us. I sprayed the room with deodorizer and that seem to help, until I awake […] in the middle of the night with the urine smell wafting thru the air with a vengeance. The toilet isn't bolted to the floor so you took a chance of being flipped off if you didn't balance yourself. This hotel had many unemployed folks living there. perfect for family night stay. No frills, just basic room/bath. simple breakfast. clean, quiet room.

We've stayed here before and it was nice- This time I spoke to an adjent and described the room to him to make sure it was the same space etc. When I arrived, they had us in a dinky, smoke smelling(I booked non-smoking) room in the far corner of the building across from all the noisy washing machines- I cancelled the reservation and had a great night […] at the Comfort Inn 더 보기

Great location to the hwy and walking distance to the walmart supercentre.The motel toilet in the room squealed every time you flushed it, the air conditioning unit did not turn on all the time, the rooms were not cleaned every day, cats running around inside the building.Clean but dated, good cheap rate.

I recommend this only because of the price & location. The room was not cleaned very well and the bed sheets were covered with holes. Served its purpose as a place to sleep with a roof over our heads.

Nice value for the price and convenience. The Wal-mart is near by when you need some things. The only thing that I don't like is the room was still have some smoking smell even that is a non-smoking room.

When u r gave a non smoking room u would like the room and or the hole motel not to smell like 10 years worth of smoke.

The hotel was great, some of the furniture looked homey/was bought at a yard sale (instead if the plain matching/uniform furniture you typically see). While there was a great continental breakfast, that included waffles, the pillows were absolutely horrible. They were really thin and lumpy - absolutely no support or comfort. The halls smelled like something was burning. Our neighboring room had people partying and cursing all night. People stomping up and down the hallway till all hours. The carpwt in our room was dirty and sticky. My daughter and I did not feel safe and contemplated sleeping in the car instead.

This is a flophouse, masquerading as a Travelodge. There are a number of "permanent" residents here. We were promised a non-smoking room, but instead given the smelliest smoking room I have ever experienced. When I asked to change our room, the front desk said "sorry, we are fully booked". The halls and lobby all have a weird smell that is like a combination […] of alcohol, cigarettes, and sweat. This hotel shows just how poor the quality control is at Travelodge. The staff super nice, across the st., a wallmart, gas station, etc but to far from downtown portland for people that just got there and don't have a car is a problem and I am from the bay area that we don't have that great bus services, close to the airport. People at the hotel the most great people!!!

first impression is a big fat D+ then entering the motel the impression changes to an A-. This motel is in convenient area, easy to get too. comfy rooms, quiet, happy and helpful service. AND NICE FREE BREAKFAST!

Got Locked out of the room the first night, and the staff although very helpful had to breakin through the window so we could retrieve our belongings. The rooms were dirty and just generally run down to the point where this place should be torn down and rebuilt.
