Stayed one night and that seemed too much. Reserved a non smoking room and checked in to an awful smelling smoke filled room. Contacted from desk and they changed my rooms to another not so clean one. Will never stay here again!

Decent stay. This HoJo had nice tile floors outside the room, but any sound in the hallway was relayed quickly under your door. Convenient spot, and helpful service- just don't expect overall greatness.

Based on the surrounding neighborhood, I was expecting a lot less. I was wrong. Front desk clerk was very friendly and personable. Room and bathroom were clean and neat. Liked how the bed was made when we walked in. Only complaint was the traffic noise coming from the street, as our room faced it. Was the worst place i have ever stayed. There were hookers inside and outside. Bad neighborhood. Bathrooms were DISCUSTING!!!!

Not bad for a one night stay, but we got what we expected for the price. Rooms were decent and location was great for a trip to Busch Gardens.

We stayed for Spring Break and received a special rate. The hotel is located right off the main interstate with a lot of restaurants within minutes. The room was clean; however, bathroom was a little worn and the coffeemaker in the room didn't work. A/C was efficient and keep the room comfortable. This hotel was convenient to Busch Gardens, less than 5 minutes from the park. The hotel room was inexpensive. Being a non-smoking room, it smelled as if it was not. There were burn marks on the tub, bathroom counter and the TV stand. The carpet was moldy, the carpet corners were white. The bed was comfortable and the free wi-fi was excellent, with […] a strong signal and it never dropped. Plenty of room for two. Refrigerator in the room. The staff was pleasant and the free continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal, pastries, bagels, coffee and juices. Room was clean and neighborhood was fine; not sure what all the fuss in other reviews is about. Staff was friendly and helpful the few times we needed them. My friends and I were in town to see Radiohead and hang out at the beach for a few days, so we weren't even there except to sleep. The only real mark against them was that we needed a rollaway bed […] and couldn't get one. Our priority was keeping cost down and being close to the places we need to be. HoJo succeeded on both fronts. If you're looking for something fancy, go elsewhere, but for economy this was great. Toilets overflowed every night. Non-Smoking room was approximately 4 rooms down from the smoking room and there was a smoking room above my non-smoking room. Horrible experience

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week and we were satisfied. We even stayed at this hotel when we came back in town.

This was the worst experience I've had with a Hotel chain.

Very worth it for the small price when going on the cheap. Clean, but poorly maintained. None of the outside doors lock, nor does the door to the pool. A major no no for people with little kids or overly security concerned.

Just down right nasty. The room smelled, pillows were very small and stained. Make sure you bring "self defense"!

Great location, however, extremely dirty rooms. I booked 2 rooms and I cannot tell which one was more disgusting. The carpet couldn't have more nasty stains and same for the covers on the beds. The bathroom was horrible and the toilet was falling from the wall. Really smelly. Do not recommend.

This is your average economy hotel. While the surrounding neighborhood didn't seem that great, I felt extremely safe within the hotel. Basic, clean and friendly staff. Very soft beds and pillows were a huge plus. Would def. stay here again.

the breakfast had no fruit even for those of us that went down early, the rooms we older but clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Nice, but I have gotten better hotel

Although I had no problems specifically, the rooms were old and in need of refurbishing, the blanket / bedspread had spots and holes in it, the rooms needed a paint job, and most of the common areas of the hotel hadn't see proper maintenance in a while, but for the price you pay for this property, that might be what you would expect.

This motel is old, I am guessing it probably dates to the late '50's but is meticulously maintained, clean and well run with a friendly staff. It is well located being just a block off I275 at Fowler Ave which made it perfect for our needs as we had to spend time in both St. Petersburg Beach (33 miles away) and Riverview (about 25 miles in the opposite […] direction) Can't beat the price either! This hotel is close to a lot of nice restaurants

I was pleasently surprised to find all the amenaties in my room. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot, safe, iron and board, blow dryer and towels folded in cute little designs.

wouldve been a nice hotel if the floor wasnt dirty, i wouldnt go barefoot on it. only 1 light fixture in the room worked and the bathroom like would only halfway work

Room was not cleaned. Shower heads rusty. Floor not vaccumed. Fixtures like not up to par. Burn holes in the sheets. Hole in the wall behind the TV unit. Dirt Molecules on the floor by the AC Unit. Rug didn't look clean. Tub didn't look clean. Shower fixture coming off and dirt in th eupper corners of the shower. Should have know by the questionable neighborhood surrounding this place, lots of police activity, but we went in anyway. Found the property to be in several stages of disrepair and our room to be hardly clean. There were human hairs all over the bathroom floor (none of it belonging to us) and discolored linens. My friend located a bag of trash underneath […] the mattress (as we had begun to inspect the bed for visible bedbugs) and were completely grossed out by that point. When she went to turn on the lamp in between the two beds, she bumped the alarm clock and out came two German cockroaches and a small army of baby cockroaches, presumably living INSIDE the alarm clock. Upon further examination by moving the nightstand, we found several roach carcasses and decided we needed to move. The staff was accommodating and moved us 3 rooms down the hall and while the beds were quite comfy (maybe we were REALLY tired), we did find that the shower had absolutely ZERO water pressure, in addition to more discolored and not-so-fresh smelling linens. We left out as soon as we could in the morning and vowed never to return. 더 보기

Booked two rooms for the night and both were clean, roomy and the service was excellent. For the price, it was an excellent deal and when I go back to Tampa, I plan on staying there again.

The hotel is extremely convenient if you are planning on goin to the local theme parks. Outside of hotel is a little shabby but the inside and the room we stayed in was nice. No bugs:)) pool was nice, one thing Isis notice was that most people there by pool seemed to live at the hotel, so if you are out of town they tend to notice. Weird.

It is obvious this is a older hotel but my room was still clean. The neighborhood I don't think is the best. I ran into some strange people during the evening hours. The wireless internet had a good signal in my room, however on the last day I was there the internet did not work at all, the guy at the desk had no clue how to fix it. This was not a […] isolated incident as several others were also in the lobby inquiring about this. There is a concrete median so many U-turns were involved in my departures and arrivals. I did see one roach on my first day there and was tempted to leave but did not see any more for my next 2 days there. Close by are several places to eat. 더 보기
