While this is a beautiful historic hotel, it is needs a few upgrades. The most obvious of these upgrades is that the walls and floors are paper thin. You can hear everything happening above you and next to your room. Another upgrade needed is the television. With that said, the hotel restaurant is very good. No WiFi in rooms, only in lobbies. I missed that and expected it.

4 star feel, but very affordable. Rooms were on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Great views of the city.

Super Centric location, alternate parking cost reasonable.

Excellent Vallet service. Fun time for adults and children. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant on main floor. I would like to return with my whole family next time.

The staff were wonderful and always willing to help without hesitation. It was close-by the US Bank Arena which was my destination. I was there is a mall connected to the hotel. I love my stay and would recomend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We are an older couple and the atmoshere was perfect.

upgrade for a suite. The regular queen size rooms are tiny. The bathroom has no place to place makeup, curling iron & etc. Cannot close the bathroom door after you are on the toilet. The room had no space at all. Smallest room I have ever stayed. Valet serve and bellhops were great. No waiting for your car. Room was clean and neat, just no space.

If you appreciate a hotel boasting a unique, quality, well-maintained facility, in the heart of the business district, you need to visit the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland hotel. The architecture and condition if this 1930ish hotel is really a pleasure to experience.

We arived a little later then expected, around 8;30 and our 3 kids were looking forward to doing a little swimming after a long day. When we checked in they said the pool closed at 8pm . This is the Hilton, one of the top hotels ?? Kinda odd to have such a early closing time for the pool. Hotel rooms look lived in. The lobby, Orchids and the bar are in a magnificently adorned theater-looking room paneled with Brazilian red rose wood--an incredibly beautiful appointment for a grand room still worthy of a visit as well as admiration.

Overall, our experience at the hotel was great. Great service provided by the valet and front desk. Great location next to Fountain Square. Only problem was the pool was super dirty, so if you're looking for a place with a decent pool, you won't find it here.

Not worth the money. Room was small enough and there is a huge cabinet housing a small screen old school tube tv. I've stayed in places half the price that were bigger and had a nice up to date flat screen tv. The staff was nice and the lobby and lounge/restaurant was very nice looking. Other than that forget it.

My stay was perfect. Great lobby and staff were great and accommodating. They even brought up chocolates to our room when they found our we were celebrating a birthday. The only problem I found with this hotel was location. It has about 5 different entrances. To get to the hotel from the parking garage we had to go on an elevator down one floor. Then […] walk and walk. Then we went over a skywalk. Then down and escalator. Down two flights of stairs. Into the lobby of the mall then up another flight then down more stairs. There is not clean cut entry. You literally have to search for it. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the car to the hotel. However, the skywalks are nice and connect to beautiful restaurants so you don't have to walk in the cold. At first we were going to eat and drink at the hotel bar and lobby but it was a little too stuffy for me. If you're under the age of 40 it'll be a bit of a drag. My suggestion is to go to Palominos. Beautiful place and connects to the hotel. Hip and great atmosphere and not as stuffy as the hotel bar. Another problem we had was there was no fridge. None. So we had to put ice in our sink to keep our drinks cold. One giant plus was the bed. So comfy! Best bed I've ever slept in! Comfy sheets and the best mattress and pillows ever. Absolutely best night sleep ever. I would definitely stay at the hotel again. But maybe bring a map so I could find the lobby. 더 보기

Nice to be right in the center of town within walking distance of the theater, restaurants, etc. Desk services very helpful. They had a good winter price, wonderful Sunday brunch. However, valet service was quite expensive.

I have stayed in several Cincinnati hotels and this is absolutely my favorite! The hotel and hotel amenties are excellent! The location was perfect and just steps away from everything I needed. There is an ice skating rink sponsored by a local bank outside the hotel. Music (very loud) for skating went on until nearly midnight both nights we were there. If rink is in operation, or if other entertainment there in summer, ask to be on other side of hotel.

Hotel was very clean and service was impecable... just don't look for food service on Christmas day unless you have made reservations for the buffet brunch /lunch / dinner. We arrived around 6PM after a full day of driving. Most of the restaurants in town were closed and the hotel dining room was not serving anyone without a reservation as they were […] switching from the buffett to a la carte service and it took them over 2.5 hours to get any sort of food available for us. I would suggest that they make some sort of contingency plan for arriving guests, not in the know. The lobby and surrounding areas of the hotel are stunning. The staff was helpful. The room was nice but the rooms are showing their age. One of our closet doors was off its hinges. Our room service food was not cooked as ordered and was sloppy in presentation. The location is excellent.

I've lived in Cincinnati all of my life and have been to the Netherland many times, but never stayed there until this holiday season. The service was wonderful from the valet, front desk and everyone in the bar. We had a lovely, romantic 24 hours in the most beautiful hotel in the city. Thank You!

Although the hotel was extremely busy with two weddings taking place, the staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. I would DEFINATELY recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great staff, excellent location near ballparks. I want to find a reason to return...even the Sunday buffet was good.

the bar alone is worth the stay! the lobby is a working art deco museum. elevators are a silversmith dream works of art. top rated eats for all of cinncy and the adjacent tower with observitory is a must.

My wife and I stayed here for a night after I returned from a business trip and we were very pleased overall. We were a little dissappointed we couldn't get a table for dinner, but we ended up ordering room service and the food was excellent. Definitely somewhere we will stay again if we're in the area.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Very clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful. It is not very kid friendly though. This is more of a high class hotel that you take your wife to or stay in on a business trip. The restaurant and atmosphere is almost too classy, it made it uncomfortable for us to have our children there. […] Not that the staff looked down on the kids but we definetly got the feeling that they didn't belong there. The pool is not for recreational swimming, it is for the older crowd to just hang out at, the kids didn't even enjoy it. I recently stayed at this beautiful downtown historic hotel. The room was very elegant. Beds, AMAZING. Nice designer shampoo and lotion in case you forget yours! The resturaunt in the lobby is sooo great! Not to mention, the past 2 times I've stayed on Friday nights, there was a very talented Live Jazz band playing until the late hours. Close to everything, […] especially the focal point of downtown (Fountain Square). This is on my top 4 places to stay in Downtown Cincinnati! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!!! I stayed here to go to a Reds game and it was a short walk to the ballpark, whichw as great. Amazing hotel- it's a bit old, but that's what I loved about it. You felt like you were back in an old Hollywood glam hotel. The only down side was that I paid for the internet for 24 hours and after 4 hours said I needed to pay again. The gorgous art nouveau lobby was amazing and the service was excellent but the room itself was a little shabby. We are not snotty people so that we expected something better and we let down is saying a lot. The chair for the desk was torn, threadbare and dirty. The TV was at least 20 years old which was a disappointment since it obviously didn't have […] an HDMI port.This normally wouldn't matter but everything is closed on Sunday and Labor Day other than the fireworks which were mostly rained-out this year, presenting another opportunity to use our TV. Hotel is right on Fountain Square in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati. It is in a historic building that is on the National Register - very beautiful and well kept. Our stay was comfortable, although the thermostat was not working.
