위치나 명성은 상당히 좋은곳이나, 지금은 공사중이라, 식당도 하나밖에 없고 로비가 좁았음. 그러나 주위에 쇼핑이나, 뮤지칼 좋은식당과도 가까운 곳이기에 위치가 상당히 좋았음.

추천도 많고, 호텔급도 높고, 위치도 적절해서 큰 주저 없이 예약했지만.... 현재 호텔 근처에서 지하철 공산가??를 하네요. 그래서인지 2일예약의 할인이 그렇게 높았던 것일까... 아무튼 공사는 24시간 ongoing이구, 같은 급의 남는 방이 없으면 옮기지도 못합니다. 맨하탄 한복판 고급호텔에서 귀마개하고 자는 촌극이 벌어지죠. (게스트룸?? 은 공사가 이뤄지는 끝방이니 참고하시길..) Reception과 전화통화하니 할말있으면 매니저바꿔주겠다는 식이고.. 참다 참다 결국 매니저랑 통화해서 상황정리하고, 이틀째는 방을 옮겼지만 방 급이 조금 떨어지는 것 같더군요(소음은 없었습니다). 나중에 확인하고 취소하긴했지만 방에서 […] 알수 없는 long distance call도 charge돼 있었구.. 직원들은 기본적으로 친절합니다. housekeeping도 제가 부탁한거 열심히 해주시고 고마웠습니다. St. Patrick성당도 내려다 보이고, veiw도 참 좋고... construction noise만 아니었으면 정말 좋았을 뻔했는데, 아쉽네요. 만약 공사가 끝나면?? 추천할 만 하고 다시 가볼만도 하지만 그전에는 어림도 없습니다. 더 보기

차별화된 컨시어지와 체크인과 더불어 광고처럼 그건 매우 즐거웠다. (Hotels.com가 특히 일반 객실과 같은 같은 비용으로 towers에서 삼박을 하도록 한 것을 주목해라. St Pats Cathedral이 건너보이는 객실을 잡아라…그리고 클럽조식바는 훈제연어, 신선한 과일, 주스, 커피 등등이 환상적이다... 걸어갈만한 시간이 없다면, 가까운 여행은 그들의 "house car"를 이용해라. 체크 아웃 날짜에 체크 수하물을 검색할 때 그들이 내 남은 훈제 고기와 하드 롤을 보관하는것처럼 당신의 작은 아이템들을 확인해라. 아무런 먹을 것 없이, San Diego까지 날아가야만 했다.

Palace에서 숙박할 것을 적극 추천합니다. 동시에 저녁 식사에 제한이 있다는 사실을 알아냈습니다. 컨시어지 서비스는 개선이 필요합니다. 태도에 약간 문제가 있습니다. 몇몇 Broadway 연극에 대한 정보가 필요해서 전화를 걸었는데 오랜 기간 동안 대기 상태로 있어야 했습니다. 전화를 세 번이나 걸어야 했습니다. 마지막으로 화장실을 더 크게 만들어야 할 것 같습니다. 화장실이 작습니다. 분리된 샤워부스도 없었습니다. 지불한 비용은 적은데 최고 수준울 원했습니다. 맞습니다. 약간의 제약은 있지만 Palace 호텔을 적극 추천합니다.

Executive Club을 이용할 수 있는 방에서 숙박했습니다. Executive Club은 추가 비용을 지불할 만한 가치가 있었습니다. 조식은 풀로 제공되었고, 하루 종일 이용 가능한 다른 음식들은 매우 훌륭했습니다. 방은 아름다웠지만 장식은 매우 전통적이었습니다. 독특하거나 칼라풀한 것은 없었지만 정말 편안하고 공간이 넓었습니다. 서비스는 약간 "딱딱"했습니다. 얼음 한 통 얻기 위해서 룸 서비스 요청까지 해야 했습니다. 그리고 직원은 당연하게도 팁을 기다리고 있었습니다.... 체크아웃 때 우리의 숙박이 어땠는지 아무도 물어보지 않아 놀랐습니다. 또 호텔 주차장 주차료를 누구에게 어디서 지불해야 하는지에 대해 이야기 […] 해주는 사람도 없었습니다. 더 보기

항상 여기서 머뭅니다. 서비스는 흠이 없습니다. 건물은 먼지 하나 없고, 도어맨은 항상 신사적이고(정말 말쑥합니다!). 프런트 데스크 직원들은 빠르고, 효율적이고, 친절합니다. 제 방이 이미 나가서, Towers에 1 베드룸 코너 스위트룸으로 업그레이드해 주었습니다. 제가 새 방을 기다려야 하는 것에 대해 충분히 사과를 한 후 무료 과일 한접시를 보내 주었습니다. 제가 말했던 것처럼 서비스는 최고입니다. NYC의 5성급 호텔에 모두 머물렀지만, NY Palace가 곧장 다시 오고 싶은 유일한 곳입니다.

We were taken by surprise that a MAJOR renovation was in progress. The restraunt and bar was closed and no lobby to relax in. The staff was very understanding of our disappointment and upgraded our room. The renovation is scheduled to be completed September 2013.

we enjoyed our stay at the New York Palace. there were some minor inconveniences due to the remodeling - parking and lines at check-in - but, all in all, people did a great job moving things along. We should have been advised that the hotel was being refurbished when we booked it. It was too noisy, the staff were very unhelpful. It was a very expensive hotel and it did not even provide complimentary tea or coffee in the room or bottled water.

Hotel location was excellent, rooms and view was amazing but hotel lobby staff where very lazy to help and almost ignored you. When you did get help it was great, we checked out at 5:30am and we came down stairs with 4 suit cases between the 2 of us and there 3 bellman standing around looked at us and ignored us didn't even offer to help so my wife […] and I had to Cary them out ourselves. Not a major issue but left a sour taste in our mouth. I always noticed there was lots of staff standing around and not doing to much this was evident when we need a hand.overall this hotel is a 9 out of 10 and worth every cent. 더 보기

The day I checked in the clerk was very slow and incompetent. The room is the 11th floor was very noisy. Management was very nice and switched our room the second day. There are never taxis available in front of the hotel because they park themselves across the street and only want to take passengers that are going to the airport. Rate was a steal at around 450$, but apparently it was discounted due to remodeling of the hotel, which is a material fact that was not disclosed at booking. There were literally construction workers dangling outside the window. My room was on a low floor with gorgeous views, but clearly hasn't been renovated […] in decades. The floor had a stale odor. Lobby is under construction, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, wait until it is done. Chaos in the lobby and cramped. The service is still great and location perfect for midtown sightseeing and shopping and of course business. My room could have use an update.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel. Although the hotel is undergoing exterior renovation, that in no way affected the quality of the rooms....huge and lovely. Exceptional size for New York. Only issue was no coffee in the room and coffee in the restaurant was $8.00 per cup! Really? But then I'm not a New Yorker so maybe that's normal.

Hotel was perfectly situated and our room was in great condition even though construction was going on. Most importantly the price was affordable. Would definately stay again as we do visit NY four plus times per year.

Always excellent service. Little chaotic due to construction in lobby, but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Personnel are all extremely helpful, and since this was our third stay in about 3 months, we've gotten to know the bellmen, doormen and garage attendants. I was not informed that the hotel was undergoing renovatios. The entry on 50th Street is closed off. The room while having a nice view, was poorly lighted and felt worn. There is so much more construction work going on than the hotel led us to believe. I phoned hotel to check on level of refurbishment as i was worried about noise levels as husband is a light sleeper. I didn't need to worry about that however the glorious front to the hotel is all hidden by scaffolding that we were aware of by web site picture. What […] we were not told though is that there is no hotel foyer just a very narrow stair case down to one small reception desk ,no where to sit to soak up the atmosphere so you feel ushered up to your room as there is no where to go apart from the bar. The lobby and outside patio are undergoing a large scale renovation. The once beautiful lobby is unrecognizable. Sad to have discovered that after we arrived. Would have been good to know prior to making reservation there. Won't go back until it is complete.

My daughter and I loved the New York Palace! The location was incredible...close proximity to Rockefeller Plaza, Saks 5th Avenue, Times Square, Central Park, NY Public Library, and Fifth Avenue Shopping. We walked to nearly every destination and felt very safe...even at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Our king superior room was very large […] by any standards. It was immaculately clean...bathroom too. The bathrooms were unbelievably large too. Above everything, the service was the very best I have ever received in any hotel. EVERYONE we came in contact with was positive and polite and always willing to help in any way. This hotel's customer service is the epitome of customer service. The first night of our stay was on the side opposite of Madison Ave. Construction noise from the adjoining property was loud on the 18th floor & people in room beside of us was worse. We asked to be moved to the Madison Ave side of the hotel the following day. When we returned from our show, our bags had been moved to another room on the 18th floor, overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. We never heard another noise. Since the hotel is in the midst of renovating rooms, I was concerned our room would be mediocre. Pretty sure our room had not been renovated, but I was not disappointed. It is one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in a long time. I highly recommend the New York Palace. The location and the comfort/cleanliness/spaciousness of the room cannot be beat and the service is impeccable. 더 보기

I wish someone would have told me that this hotel is going thru MAYOR renovation. That beautiful lobby you see on pictures is reduced to cartons everywhere. Rooms are small ugly smelly and outdated. Room service was ok but the service at the reception desk was awful and rude. I guess they're overwhelmed with the number of upset guess that where waiting […] in line for a while in such an ugly environment. I'm sure that after the renovation it will be a beautiful hotel and hopefully the service will catch up, but for now I paid Ritz Carlton prices for a Holliday Inn experience. The NY Palace is under construction. While we missed the experience of entering through the main lobby and checked in via a facade covered in scaffolding into a temporary basement reception area, the service as usual was smooth and all the staff were high quality professionals.
