the hotel is located near the airport and the employees did not give me a hard time. however, i was hoping the heat would be working because it was pretty cold in the room. Also the hot water wasnot working properly.

Just an overnight stay in Atl after a football game at the Georgia Dome this hotel was eight minutes away. Front desk was very friendly, room was clean and overall good service. My overall rating is a two because of the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel is completely gated, i assume because of the residents surrounding it. Directly across the street […] from our room a man shot off an automatic shootgun multiple times from 12am-1am. no police ever showed up. I had a very enjoyable time and stay at the travelodge in Atl Airport. everyone was very nice and respectful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would return back to the hotel again. Thank U for a good time in Atlanta.

My misstake for not reading the reviews. Location was what i need. However, thought it was ok by the pictures. would not stay again..

I had a business convention just a few miles away in downtown Atlanta and I needed a super cheap hotel for 7 days. Despite the many negative reviews from other guests, I booked here because the whole week total cost less than even one night at the convention hotel. I was prepared for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. Certainly, the neighborhood […] is not someplace I'd walk around after dark, but most of metro Atlanta is equally as scary. The hotel is card-gated and has a roving security guard for good reason -- I was approached a few times by some unsavory characters, but no more than I was in downtown Atlanta outside the more expensive hotels. The registration office had live camera views of the whole property right behind the counter. The room was as clean as it could get. The furniture was mismatched and worn, the shower and sink were stained, and the place could have used a paint job, but it was clean. I saw only one bug the whole time, and it was after a heavy rain -- it apparently crawled in under the door, which was missing weather-stripping. The window-mounted air conditioner worked great. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked great. The bed linens and towels appeared clean. The TV was large and got in every channel known to man, and each came in clear. The shower got very hot immediately and stayed hot. The toilet, however, was small and terribly uncomfortable to sit on -- I'm an average size man, and I found it difficult to "fit" on it. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. The free breakfast was more sparse than most others: juice, coffee, cereal, muffin, or a banana. There were multiple vending machines on site, and they weren't over-priced. Within a 30 second drive down the road were gas stations, fast food restaurants and kmart, so anything you'd need during your trip is easily purchased. I would definitely stay here again. I wouldn't want to live in the area, and it's not the height of luxury by any standards, but 더 보기

Ok, so this hotel is cheap, and that's why we booked here. I understand that you're not going to get the best room for the price we paid, but I wanted to relay some issues so others know what to expect. - The rooms were filthy. I'm talking dirt covering the areas around door handles and bed sheets with dirt spots and stray hairs on them. - They skimp […] on the amenities. They didn't change the (already dirty) bedsheets between day 1 and day 2, leaving me to wonder if they ever changed them before we came in anyway. Also, the bath towels are hand towels and they leave you with only 1 small shampoo bottle and a half roll of TP for 2 days. - The hotel is literally right by the freeway, so road noise is loud. - It was a non-smoking room, but you could tell the last people who stayed there smoked heavily. To make things worse, the hotel provides an ashtray and matches. In a non-smoking room. Yeah, I dunno. - On the plus side: free continental breakfast! Hope you like toast and.... Frosted Flakes. - The hotel staff was nice enough. No problems with them at all. Overall, we look at it as we saved a bunch of money, and got what we paid for. I was pleasantly surprised to find nice clean rooms gated access to rooms & parking lot, Also at night there is physical security . If I go to Atlanta again I would definetly try book reservation at this travel lodge again as a first choice/

Stayed for four nights but Had to clean the whole room myself with clorox etc. Bugs climbing up the wall, had to, couln't wait to get out of there, cheap but nasty dirty place, neighbors shouting at you when passing by. Horrible, went 25 miles further to be more comfortable and feel safe with my 2 year old baby girl.

i had reserved a hotel for my family and there whole vacation was ruined because they were not able to stay at the location i reserved due to them being infested with bed bugs, hotels.com did help the best they could with the situation but this was poor customer service on the hotels part. how do they expect people to stay under those kind of conditions […] i mean it was rediculous. they had to sit hot a hot car for over 5 hours before they could book another hotel 더 보기

If you're looking for something cheap, for one night, like we were, and you don't have young children, then this is doable. It's not in the best neighborhood-- questionable at best-- but thanks to the hotels.com reveiw, we knew that part going in! So we brought only two credit cards and our IDs. Anything we brought, we were willing to part with -- not […] dangerous, just a bit sketchy. The hotel has a security fence to it, you need your room key in order for it to open and at night, there was a security guard who patrolled and was very nice. The staff was very nice as well. The room wasn't classy at ALL, but it was a place to sleep. Two of the four pillowcases had traces of makeup on them but they were obviously washed/clean, just could not get the stain out. The carpets were OLD and the bathroom hardware was too. But the towels seemed clean, there were a few free toiletries and the blowdryer actually worked! the AC/Heat was broken, but only the button, not the AC climate control. The coffee maker was in the room, but did not have a pot or coffee. Like I said, we were in town for the ATL/BLT game and that's it. Just to sleep it was ok, and it was close to Turner Field, but at night... the neighborhood was really shady. Glad I went with my fiance (male)! 더 보기

When you hear travelodge you think an average hotel clean and simple. You know you're just going to be sleeping there. This hotel location was the complete opposite. It made my skin crawl. It was disgusting. The bathroom had mildew all over. There was a leak under the tub so when you step in the shower, it felt like you were standing on a water bed. […] The bed was ok, but the sheet wouldn't stay on the bed. Me and a friend stayed there for 4 nights and it's pretty much what we expected for the price. The rooms are gated off which is nice because the neighborhood didn't seem like the greatest. They did have a security guard at the gate too which is also nice. As far as the rooms go it's what you would expect. Nothing special but the essentials. (TV, WiFi, […] microwave and a mini fridge) Breakfast consists of a bowl of cereal (Raisin Brain or Frosted Flakes when I was there), Muffins, Bananas. And there's juice and coffee. Not much but it's something. There is a McDonalds, Checkers, Krystals and Burger King all close by too. If your not picky, short on cash and need to be close to the downtown area then this is your place. It was a very convenient location for us because we were downtown all week and it's only 5 minutes away and right on I-75. 더 보기

Best thing to happen to this place is have a bulldozer flatten it.

the hotel is only abt 5-10 mi. from the airport. It is in East Point, GA so it's kinda hood. Convienient, room was o.k. Nothing to brag abt, but the staff was helpful with problems abt my reservation when I arrived and getting a taxi when I left. The low price equals out to what u get.

This was a horrible place to be....
