아텔 윈저 (Hotel Windsor) - 제네바

아텔윈저의 내부는 매우 깨끗하고 카운터에 있는 사람들도 매우 친절하였습니다. 아침 식사는 여러가지가 있었으나 저는 주로 우유, 원두 커피 (아주 좋음), 몇가지 치즈, 빵, 달걀, 과일등을 아주 맛있게 많이 먹을 수 있어서 아주 좋았습니다. 그리고 주변의 다른 호텔보다 값이 싸서 좋았습니다. 값이 싸기 때문에 호텔 방 자체는 좁습니다. 단 한가지 주변에 창녀들이 많이 있고 그 주위에 이상한 남자들이(깡패 같은?) 서성이고 있어서 밤에 다니기가 무서웠습니다. 물론 다른 비싼 호텔들도 100미터 이내의 거리에 있으니 그 호텔들에 묵어도 조금만 안쪽으로 지나가면 똑 같은 상황을 만나게 됩니다. 만일 경제적인 여유가 많다면 좀더 […] 비싼 호텔에 묵기를 추천합니다. 제네바 기차역에서 아주 가깝고 호텔 체크인시 주는 제네바 교통사용권을 무제한 이용할수있는 점이 아주 좋았습니다. 근처에 레스토랑들도 많고 호수, 중심가들이 가까운 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 호텔 어디에서나 무선인터넷을 사용할수있는 장점이 있고 지하의 작은 피트니스센터는 작지만 알차게 꾸며져 있습니다. 옆의 작은 사우나는 전혀 뜨거워지지가 않더라구요.. 호텔방은 작지만 깔끔했는데 침대가 편하지는 않더라구요. 저녁에 좀 시끄럽다는점도 있었습니다. 아침식사는 특별한것없는 그냥 일반적인 평범한 식사였습니다. 제네바에 여행으로 오는 분들에겐 추천하고 싶습니아

Aside from the fact the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the biggest asset they have is Mr. Lucas, the Hotel Manager, who's kindness and high of level of service makes the experience highly positive. Unfortunately the area is very noisy, in the middle of a red light zone, but if you can withstand that, this is a great Hotel to stay in.

Helpful staff. Two or three blocks away from the hotel is a good area. Convenient location.

The room was quite small and bathroom was even smaller. Otherwise nothing to complain. Close proximity to all main points in geneva.

The size of the washroom is really tiny but overall everything is fine.

Ok rooms in tough location. Hotel Charged us twice For drinks we paid for at bar, morning we left! $36, but it's the point they did it us. Bar only open go &. Sat so may not be issue!

The hotel was nice and staff was great. Not fancy, but clean, simple and sufficient. Some noise from neighboring room was unpleasant. The location in proximity to the city was good, but it is in the red light district. We enjoyed our visit very much, and would stay here again.

Excellent location, big clean rooms, friendly staff, will come back again

Normal 3 star Geneva quality that would be 4 star in many other European countries. Good location near railway station.

Good value for the money spent. In a city of very expensive hotels the winsor was a very good deal. It has a good location to the shopping district and bus and trains station.

This hotel has renovated its hotel lobby, however the rooms are in the a rundown state. The location was close to the train station which suited us, however the area itself was "undesirable" a word used by a taxi driver to describe the area to us. There are night clubs and it is in a red light area. From late afternoon there are men standing around […] in the streets, making comments about any woman who wanders past. There are security doors on the front and rear sides of this hotel, however during one night, the guest next door seemed to have a lady guest - who stayed less than one hour in the room, so you make up your mind as to that ! Both beds in our room had broken slats underneath and the walls were paper thin, so you hear every noise throughout the night. There is a quiet bar within its building, which was a haven. It is within a couple of blocks from where tours start from. Cannot recommend based on our stay. 더 보기

It's clean and newly renovated. But the area is surrounded in some bad place....

The other reviewers aren't joking about this hotel being in a sketchy neighborhood! My wife and I spent a fair amount of time debating whether the gangs of immigrant men hanging out up and down the street in front of the hotel were drug dealers or male prostitutes. That aside, the hotel was very comfortable, had a top notch gym in the basement, and […] was an overall excellent value in a highly location convenient to the train station. The cheapest hotel in a convenient location. The red district of Geneva cannot be but clean!! Impossible to sleep at night. Between the piano bar and the bad noise insulation I woke up several times per night. With hotels I paid half of the normal rate.

In general OK but bathroom is very, very small and staffs at reception desk could have been more friendly. Breakfast is a nice complementary

Location! Location! Location! This hotel is located 3 blocks away from the Gare de Cornavin, which allows for easy access to all public transport systems of Geneva (tram, bus, rail). Also, there is the largest selection of restaurants in a 8 block radius. Definitely will go back there next time around! BTW - The gym is absolutely fabulous!

Just 5 min walk from Geneva train station and the bus stops were less than 2 min (free public city transports for visitors staying in ant hotels or hostels). Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. Lots of restaurants nearby.

overall this hotel is a great value. The location is excellent if you're arriving via train. You can literally walk from the station to the hotel. The street at night seems a little unsafe.

I really liked my stay in this hotel as it was very clean, staff were friendly, very close to tram, and train station and clean and tidy rooms. Good value for money. 5 out of 5.

My bf and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2012, and we were loved the decor of the place and how new and clean it was. But best of all was the great service. The night shift staff, Loucas, was extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The location is also great - walking distance from most of the attractions and the train […] stations, and also not too far from the airport. The neighborhood seems a bit seedy though - many drunk people loitering about and it was a little scary walking past them at night but luckily nothing bad happened. Although I had read that this hotel is located in the red light district & the supposedly presence of working ladies, I did not encounter any during my stay. It possibly could be that it was too cold to stand out in the street in the winter. And it could alos be that I did not venture out after 9pm at night. For the price I paid, and considering how […] expensive Geneva is, I received great value. Room was decent in size & decor (modern furnishing.) Although the bathroom sink leaked, the housekeeping had already placed towels underneath to absorb the leakage. Beakfast had a good selection. We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel was nice and the breakfast great.

Stay for one night. Got a great rate. Price was comparable to amenities. Far from site during cold weather but is fine during warmer temps.

I really liked this hotel --- it is centrally located and in very good condition. The hotel is very close to the Central Station (Gare Cornavin). Therefore, it is very accessible from the airport. The staff is very attentive and the rooms, while small, are very clean and in good condition. In addition, the gym and sauna are just as well taken care off. Small room in excellent condition. Quiet, clean and everything included to a very reasonable proce.

The rooms were fairly basic but nicely finished. The service was outstanding, as was the breakfast buffet (the quality of Swiss dairy is simply not to be underestimated). A big bonus was that the hotel issued me a free pass for use on all Geneva public transportation during my stay. The neighborhood is a bit seedy (the city's red light district is here) […] but has improved a lot in recent years. Despite some fairly colorful characters hanging around it felt pretty safe. Great location, near the train station and tram and bus lines and lake. Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds (we had two twins) and very clean. Wifi was spotty but worked fine for checking email and websites and emailing photos from our iPad 2. There was a safe in the closet but we didn't use it. Very clean rooms with cool modern design. Everything is a bit small and spare as is common in urban European hotels. The gym is amazing!!!! Remodel in 2010. The staff was helpful and kind. Close to everything in the downtown area, as well as, the train, the river and great food. Only draw back (if you're with a family) it that it is around the corner […] from a small red light district. It's nicer than many comparable hotels in city center. When you cannot open the door more than 45 degrees without banging it another part of the room, you know you are in for a tight squeeze. This was without question the smallest hotel room I have ever or will ever stay in. I was able to stand in the middle of the bathroom and touch all 4 walls without moving. The basin was a touch smaller than an LP […] record and the towel rail was hanging off the wall. If you are a hobbit this is the place for you. If not avoid like the plague unless you want to leave with bruises all over your body from trying to squeeze in the room. Also the hotel room is in the middle of the red light district so take care of your belongings esp. wallets in pockets. This is a recently renovated, modern hotel in a great location in Geneva. It's the "red light" district, but tame compared to what North Americans in big cities would be used to. I didn't feel unsafe, even at night. The gym is amazing - I haven't seen anything like it in Europe, where gyms in hotels are rare, and unimpressive by North American standards […] - and the breakfast is included. The hotel is located centrally and quiet area, not to fear from the location - SoHo district! Sure' safe throughout the day and night! Is primarily intended for businessmen and tourists. The rooms are small but provide a solution. The receiption desk help with anything, very good breakfast.

Right above the metro station and located opp the strategic centre of the bay (just across the pedestrian crossing) . Imagine surfing the internet on the outdoor furniture at the room balcony facing the great view of Lake Geneva and the French Evian, and observing boats arriving at the dock and families and kids spending their fun time at the harbour […] front. Good spread for breakfast. If you can bear with the fan only rooms (no aircon), this is one of the best choice 3 star hotel in Lausanne.
