Good price, clean, nice breakfast but a little old building - but recently renovated. Front desk was OK but was not that friendly. Nice big LCD TV in room but it was hard to turn it on with a remote and also with a button on TV - some electronical problem. I requested to fix it but they never did. I could not watch TV for the last four nights.

"Overnight Visit"
A friend and I recently spent an overnight at the Grand Hyatt after visiting Denver for a theater performance. Walking distance to the hotel was about 5 or 6 blocks, quite do-able unless you're in a rush and then the taxi is close and inexpensive. The hotel was very clean, and the staff helpful and attentive. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, EXCEPT TO NOT PAY FOR INCENDENTAILS WITH DEBIT CARD. THEY PUT A $1500.00 HOLD ON MY ACCT. FOR TWO DAYS, WHICH THEY DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT.

I do apologize if our debit card policy was not explained to you upon check-in. When paying with a debit card an authorization is taken to include the room and tax for the entire stay plus $50 per night for any incidental charges. The banks remove this amount from your available funds, however we will only change the correct amount at checkout and any difference is returned to your account. We will review our check-in procedures to make sure that this explanation is given to all guests who choose to use a debit card. I really dislike hotels that charge so much for Internet, Water and Parking. Hyatt is sometimes the worst.

This is a good hotel. The place is well maintained and clean, but like other "high end" business hotels they have the gall to over charge for Internet and Water and parking! If I stay at a Hyatt Place, I get free Internet. I pay a lower price for the room and I get free internet. At the "Grand Hyatt" I pay a crazy rate for the room and then they charge […] me $9.95 for internet and if I want a decent speed I have to pay $3.00 extra! I'm already paying twice as much or more for the room! Then add to that they charge $4.50 for a .50 bottle of water! BTW I went to the 7/11 right across the street and got a 6 pack of water for less than the $4.50. Then $28 to park a car. The lot right behind the Hyatt is $10/day. Come on. How insulting. I wish that we would all protest these crazy over the top charges and just say NO. I am thankful that so far this Hyatt isn't charging a "resort fee"! 더 보기

"Beds - Ouch!"
For some reason, having stayed in many hotels in / around the area, the beds at the Grand Hyatt are not very comfortable! Hip pains and constant turning to get comfortable. Strange, but honest.

The hotel staff was superb. We were upgraded to the King Executive and the view was spectacular. Honestly, there isn't one thing that I could complain about.

"Internet fee"
Overall we had a good experience at the Hyatt, but we thought it was outrageous that there was a $10 charge per day to use the Internet.

"In town to meet friends"
The hotel experience was fantastic, this is why I stay here whenever I visit Denver. I the only downfall was the women's final four was in town and we wanted to stay another night but the hotel jacked the nightly rate up an extra $100 on a Sunday night and they were not willing to negotiate on price.

We stayed here last year and got a room on the 26nd floor. Amazing room so we decided to stay here again this year but this time on the 12th floor. Not even close to our experience from last time. Turns out that 26th floor is the only floor that has been renovated and is a class above the rest of the hotel rooms. Our room, although clean was ancient […] and traditional. Also they advertise that valet parking is the only option available at 28 dollars a day. But if you enter the same parking lot from the street you can self park and pay a lot less and not have to deal with valets every time you need to get your car out. 더 보기

Everything was very nice but at night I heard doors closing the elevators and just noises in general not a very sound proof room. But I did like the fact that all the staff addressed my wife and I in a very formal manner

still unsure why they charge so much for the parking!? in my case my car was scratched and nobody mentioned until I return the car to the rental company. worse part is that I am getting no response/support from the hotel to use thier insurance coverage.

I would suggest the Hotels.com place the actual Hotel's confirmation number on the emailed reservation to make it easier to track. We were a little disappointed with the rooms. This was a Hyatt and the rooms were no where near quality we were expecting for this chain. The staff was extremely nice, but we will not stay at this hotel again unless they upgrade the rooms.

Pool is very poorly takin care of its freezing cold dirty,the hot tub is only outside jets don't work water was a green color very dirty snow was no shoveled had to walk threw snow to get in to the hot tub not what I expected from this brand of hotel hyatt hotels should be exactly what you pay for and this one was not!!

I had emailed prior to our stay to see if there was anything special I could do for my husband's 40th bday celebration and never heard back. They were also doing some maintenance at a nearby building which resulted in us being woke up quite early on Sunday morning by a helicopter flying back and forth for the entire morning.

The staff was very accomodating and friendly and the location is phenomenal. The hotel is literally a minute from the 16th Street Mall, which has great restaurants. We were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful checkin after a long flight from Sydney Australia, via Dallas. A request for a quiet room resulted in a room furthest from the lift. Delicious meal in hotel restaurant followed by a much needed 11hr sleep in a very comfortable bed.

I used this hotel since it was fairly close to the convention center. It was affordable, but not the cheapest option. It wasn't a bad stay, but a couple of things bugged me: - the advertised fridge wasn't really a fridge, just sort of a cooler. It sort of chilled drinks and such, but I was hesitant to leave milk in tehre for a long period of time. I […] ended up using the ice bucket and refilled the ice frequently. - the desk was a couple feet from the window - there was a pretty significant draft coming in at that location, so I was bundled up when doing work (and if I flipped to the other side of the desk, facing the window, I couldn't watch TV, but i did this a bit. - the worst part was that I had to pay for lousy wireless access. For a business hotel, this should come standard. Shouldn't have to think about it, even if this is embedded in the cost. On the plus side, the service was quite good. Overall, it wasn't a miserable experience, but I don't know that I would stay here again. 더 보기

"Staff was terrable"
First we had issues at checkin. My girlfriend arrived to the hotel first but was given issues because she was not primary on reservation. But she was on the reservation. Then at checkout they billed us for the wrong room that turned out the occupants had destroyed, so there were hundreds of dollars in damages. We were very happy with the hotel, it was just an overnight on our way up to the mountains. We were a block from the 16th street mall giving us a variety of shopping and dining choices while allowing our daughter to acclimate. room was lovely, very comfortable beds, clean and comfy. Will definitely stay again.

"Great Hotel"
The hotel staff was outstanding as was the room. My only complaint about the whole experience was the $26 that I had to pay for the overnight parking in the public parking garage.
Thank you very much for staying with us. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. While there are several parking options in the area we feel our price for valet of $28 per day is very competitive with 24 hour parking in downtown Denver. While it can be less expensive to park the vehicle on your own, there is a premium for the convenience of the valet service as well as the in and out privileges which other lots do not provide. We do give our guests the option of choosing to valet here at the hotel or finding alternative parking in the area. Thank you again. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

it was 3 of us in a double bed room, i asked for a roller bed and they 'couldn't' send it to us (i don't know why) so that made my stay a bit unconfortable as the beds are quite small. other than that everything was very goo.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Denver just two blocks from the 16th Street Mall. Public transportation is readily available with light rail and bus. Elevators are fast and readily available. I used the indoor swimming pool and exercise room and found the facilities good. "Hyatt is tired"
It took several visits from hotel staff to fix the TV. Also peeling paint in the shower makes this more like a 2 or 3 star hotel.
