We just need a room to crash the night and this hotel was perfect. The hotel was very affordable and the continental breakfast was awesome. I have no complaints with this hotel. For what you pay you are getting deal. Its near alot of good attractions. Service was fine.

my only complaint was that the coffee pot did not work. The shower kept going from hot to cold and not much pressure.

The hotel was much older than what it looked like on the web. It was extremely hard to get to the property due to highway work and extremely heavy traffic. The hotel and areas adjacent seemed to have seen better days, some time ago. The room was clean, the exterior facade (stucco) looked old and dirty.

The young man that greeted us as the desk clerk was GREAT! Room was comfortable and quiet, but not as clean as it could have been. Hall to rooms and exterior of hotel was dirty and not maintained. Driving up to the hotel we were ready to change our minds. Price was good.

We just needed a place to sleep,so we were not here for long. Great location and nice workers! We did enjoy the breakfast in the morning it saved us time for traveling! It was clean too!

In Dec 2010, my husband and I stayed at the Rodeway Inn-very good service, decent price and right in the middle of everywhere we need to go. We have shopped in Lancaster for Christmas for over 20 yrs and have stayed at many hotels. We finally felt that we had found a hotel for future trips. In Dec 2011 I went with my daughter, daughter-in-law and niece. […] I was very disappointed. There are no microwaves or fridges on the top floor-not mentioned in the description-had both in 2010-on 1st floor. We had to go to the office for towels and wash clothes, they would only leave for 2 even though we paid for 4 guests. This is a non-smoking hotel and 1 of the quilts had cigarette burns. great location. Hotel is run down. I see it closing in the near future. Ice machine, soda machine broken. Room was okay. Needed a face lift. Maid service was lacking. Wouldn't stay there again. But the price was low for this time of year.

The hotel desk clerk is very efficient. She was able to assist when requested and she is a very hard working and dedicated employee. She not only ran the desk but also the morning breakfast items. Everyone was done professionally and she deserve to be appreciated by her employer. Dedication is hard to find these days.

Great location to shop, see a show and eat in the Lancaster area. Nothing fancy, but for the great rate I didn't care.

Would have preferred first floor, but this hotel, like others, puts Hotels.com customers on the second floor. Wish they would not do that when you are tired from moving, shopping, etc all day. Since there is no elevator

The hotel did not even have a microwave or a hair dryer in the room. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels that were better than this hotel. The hotel's continetal breakfast was horrible. There was not even a place to sit. The area to get to the breakfast was small and crowded. I will never stay in a Rodeway Inn again.

For women not familiar with this area, this was a little bit of an uncomfortable stay. It is old and looks like it might have been two motels at one time. The lady at the desk was kind and helpful, but it is old and a little dirty. There are better places to stay in the "touristy" place.

We thought the room was expensive.

The room had some type of chemical smell in it and I had an allergy attack all night. I did not sleep. I was glad that we only booked this hotel for one night. I am very disappointed because we have stayed at other Rodeways and were very pleased. We stayed at two other hotels that were not Rodeway this trip and they were superior to this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised at what we got for our money. The staff was also very pleasant. I would stay there again.

The hotel was really good for the price. You can definitely tell it's been there a while (the rooms and furniture are dated and the towels are more grey than white), but it smells clean, and it was nice and quiet.

I was in search of a convenient, affordable hotel to stay with my young grandson so we could enjoy Dutch Wonderland. I found it at Rodeway. Loved the location of the hotel and the pool was nice. But when we got there, there was bobbie pins and other stuff on the floor.So you know they didn't vacuum. Tub needed to be scrubbed and black hair left in the sink.I was walking around in my bare feet and they got so black,i had to wash them before i went to bed. This was my second stay at this resort and my sister's 3/4. We like the location and you can't beat the price. The motel is older, but it was better cared for this visit then the other visit. I recommend this inn to anyone who is financially concerned and likes a place in the middle of everything in Amish Country. My son and I stayed for one night to watch and ride trains in Strasburg. It was convenient, reasonable, clean and we loved the pool. We had plenty of nice restaurants nearby to choose from. We also visited the big Farm Market in Bird in Hand 5 minutes away. Our visit was fun and I didn't spend a ton of money on a hotel. My family was there for a few days vacation and were very satisfied with hospitality of the staff and continental breakfast. The building was old though and could use some updating, for example the grout around the bath tile was mildewed and the cabinetry needed fresh paint.

My wife and I stayed here because my son had a baseball tournament in the area. It was a last minute thing and I was on a budget. I wish I had planned better because this place was bad. Yes it was cheap and it was convenient to the field but it is very old and outdated, needs some major repairs and we had to do our own cleaning. This motel seems to be just holding on. Staff was very pleasant, but building & room bad. Hallways were not air conditioned at all, no ice machine to be found, and a pop machine as outside. Very few linens for our 2-night stay. TV didn't work, no alarm clock. Breakfast OK, general light breakfast offered by most motels. Needs improvement to bring up the standards. Plumbing in tub was broken. Exterior & surroundings need improved. Loved the bedspreads.

The hotel was just okay. There were many other nicer hotels in the area, but who knows what their rates are. For the money, it was okay, but very old. I'm somewhat surprised this is a Choice Hotel.

We arrived to find the photo on Hotels.com was of the restaurant, not the "hotel". It was a typical motel. We got to our room and when I turned back the bedspread, the pillowcase had a stain right in the middle. It looked like an old blood stain. Luckily we brought our own pillows. I stayed in this place with my wife & two kids.Befor we get there we were not sure what it going to be,But all that change ones we get in the room.it was more than what expected for the price we pay.after all the staff was nice and helpfull,The contenintal brakfeast was verry good.

This hotel needs maintenance/ renovation. Staff is very nice. It's OK to stay for one or max two nights.

There were bugs, dead and alive, everywhere. The place was not clean or comfortable. I would not recommend the place.

The room was very clean and the location was perfect. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to the bed was as hard as a rock and the air conditioning wasn't able to control room temperature. We thought the place was real clean- especially for the amount we paid. There were 4 or 5 restaurants within walking distance- which we found to be very convienient.

probally not the best deal in the area but, no bed bugs. Older hotel and you can clearly see the improvements they are making. Hotel looks a little run down on outside but could easily clean up with a wash. Located near everything. This hotel was exactly what we had anticipated - a low cost lodging with no frills. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and attractive. This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Lancaster. I'm a divorced mother of two daughters so every penny counts. It's not a five star hotel but the rooms are always clean and the bedding smells good. The location is ideal. My kids loved the pool in the summer. In the morning we sit on the patio to eat the complimentary breakfast and enjoy the […] view of the Amish farms and fields. I would definitely recommend.
