This hotel is very far from the city. It is on the fringe of Dubai and it is actually much closer to drive to Abu Dhabi than it is to Dubai city areas. There are many good hotels near attractions for much less. You will spend alot extra in cab fare if you stay here. The free shuttle to City Centre is not frequent and you must call ahead to book a seat. […] I got sick one day and to get to a nearby pharmacy was a 30 minute drive each way. There is nothing surrounding the hotel but rubble and concrete. Absolutely not one nearby business or hotel. I arrived at night and everything was pitch black around the hotel. The hotel lies and states that the Dubai Marina and Palm Island are nearby. It is actually a bit of drive to get to either. The facilities themselves are nice, but do not stay here if you came to experience Dubai. It is good if you prefer seclusion. The standards rooms are nice and clean but much smaller than the pictures. The balcony has standing room for three people. Service was OK...the front desk would not answer on repeated occasions and it took several attempts to fix our wireless. When fixed, it worked well. The hotel charges high rates for everything (food, sunscreen, activities) and at times you are at their mercy because there is nothing else. They offer free camel rides supposedly, but I was refused on the days I was there because the trainer was supposedly off. The beach is clean, food is available 24/7, and staff are friendly. 더 보기

The hotel is miles from anywhere but one cannot complain about that because you should know that before you book it. I have been there before and experienced some staff service failures as I did this time again. The food and service in the main dining room off the lobby is among the best I have had in any hotel, the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.. The […] service and food in the sport bar restaurant is something quite different. I chose the steak pie for lunch and I got a very small crust pastry with almost nothing inside it. My two friends' meals were quite acceptable. The Asian restaurant service and food extremely good except watch out if you require rice with the food you order. They do not tell you that if you order the Fried or Thai rice you will be charged extra. Boiled rice comes with the meal. Next door in the lounge the entertainment is provided by a lovely lady singer(Theresa) and a wonderful pianist (sorry I did not ask his name) accompanying her.. Bar staff very pleasant indeed. The Italian restaurant food was excellent and staff very. helpful. The penthouse bar looks as if they had some space left over on the hotel plans so stuck a bar in it. The service and entertainment was good but it is like sitting in a train carraige. I got a letter addressed to someone else put through my door so I took it to reception and told them it was not for me but it could be something important. The receptionist took it from me saying she would see to it. and the following morning the same letter was put through my door again. We had to go to reception 7 times to have our card keys changed because we were constantly locked out of our room. I asked to speak to the duty manager and explained how inconvenient it was continually having to go to reception at all times of the day and twice at 2am. We've been living in the UAE for years and this is the first time we stayed here. We usually stay in other resorts and this was a very surprising experience, as we were not expecting anything special. Everything was great, from the recently refurbished room, the restaurants with delicious food at reasonable price, the many pools to choose from, the […] grazed beach, the activities... We were amazed staying at this hotel, away from the rush, clean rooms and good service. The beach site was clean and beautiful. We spent some time doing some water sports and the guys there were very helpful and respectful. Recommended++++

With 3 pools & the gulf, there are plenty of options of places to relax & swim. This resort has plenty to offer with activities for people who want to be active & families with children. Additionaly, there are options for relaxation & pampering. The staff are very helpful & friendly. A/C was broken inside the room they had to fix it twice while I was there. Check-in took over 45 mins because they didn't find it in thier system. Spa facilities are very poor. Most of the activities closed during the day. Food is excellent, Swimming pool is very nice, beach is nice as well. Prices for water activities are reasonable. This hotel in Dubai is located on the beach and has a regular free bus to see other attractions of Dubai. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and has a golf course. You can also take a seaplane from the marini close to the hotel which was fantastic. We have stayed in many hotels in the World and this is one of the best

We enjoyed the 2 bar pools, sandy beach, Arabian sea swimming area, hooka bar, and outside staff who arranged a soccer game on a cloudy day - thus our recommendation. We did not enjoy the outdated management philosophy that clearly did not put us first. We arrived early due to transportation. No effort was made to get us into our room early, allow us […] to use our breakfast coupon the day we arrived since we would be leaving too early to use it the day we left, or in any way indicate that they cared we were there. We went to the driving range to kill time and the attendant was extremely obnoxious, barely giving us the clubs we requested after questioning how often we played golf. In addition, the car attendants tried mightily to prevent us from taking a taxi when one was present. The hotel itself looks like a prison from the outside. Hallways are very narrow and rooms small for the price. Also, be aware that the sea view is being obstructed by the building of a new island. Too sum it up, we enjoyed the pools & setting but found too many unpleasant staff and policies inside. 더 보기

Having booked our holiday I looked at some reviews on Tripadviser and thought we`d made a bad decision. On arrival at 2.30am we were most surprised. The Jebel Ali is a bit off the beaten track and not as close to the main area as we thought but that turned out to be just wonderful. The building work being carried out everywhere is off putting but being […] where we were was ideal and away from it. The resort staff were so friendly and welcoming,nothing was too much trouble. We had our two year old boy with us and they loved him too. The hotel also provided a courtesy (AIR CONDITIONED)bus to the mall`s etc which meant we could venture out when and if we wanted to. The only negative point about this hotel is the price of the food in the restaurants(but that has a lot to do with the exchange rate just now) We would recommend this hotel and will look to book for next year! 더 보기

In der Beschribung auf Hotels.com wurde es nicht erklärt, dass diese Hotel 1 Stunde von Dubai liegt. Das Hotel ist schön, wenn man ein 100% Strandurlaub sucht, aber wenn man eine Strand/Stadt Kombination sucht ist es eine Katastrophe (um in Stadt zu kommen muss man ein Taxi 2 Stunden in voraus bestellen - hallo, wo sind wir?). Service war so übertrieben, […] dass nichts funktioniert hat: - wurde von Zimmerservice am 17 Uhr aufgeweckt - Gäste und Reinigungspersonal machte viel Lärm im Flur - alles hat sehr lange gedauert Fazit: Preis/Leistungsverhältnis = für mich = schlecht. Veldig fint hotell, med hyggelig betjening og flott uteområdet. Det negative er hotellets beliggenhet for øvrig. Det er veldig langt fra byen og det finnes ingenting med nærhet til hotellets område. Det går en del tid og penger for å kunne se noe annet enn selve hotellet.

Questa struttura possiamo classificarla tra una delle migliore in Dubai e anche nel mondo, l'hotel soddisfa ogni esigenza dalle camere al personale ai ristoranti alle piscine alla spiaggia agli sport al golf e altro. Posso solo consigliarlo e se vi e' possibile soggiornarvi.

Ett otroligt hotel som erbjuder fantastisk service, bra aktiviteter i alla dess former med ett otroligt läge vid Arabiska gulfen. Det finns restauranger och bufféer som har ett utbud av alltifrån Arabiskt till Italienskt och så har vi självklart live-underhållningen som ger den där extra känsla av lyx, om du frågar mig, bra sådan dessutom.

Kurz gefasst: Sehr freundliches Hotel an Bilderbuch-Strand mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Nach einem sehr schönen Urlaub im Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa kehrten wir dieses Jahr dorthin zurück und hatten das Glück, dank eines Upgrades das Jebel Ali Palm Tree Court & Spa kennenlernen zu können. Das Jebel Ali Palm Tree Court & Spa ist eine sehr […] gepflegte Juniorsuite-Hotelanlage inmitten eines weitläufigen, grünen Parks. Das Hotel befindet sich innerhalb der gleichen Anlage wie das Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa und teilt sich mit diesem die Einrichtungen. Das absolute Highlight ist der phantastische, breite, weiße Strand. Hier liegt man nicht Liege an Liege, sondern mit unglaublichem Abstand in sagenhafter, privater Abgeschiedenheit. Die dem Hotel vorgelagerte Jebel-Ali-Palme stört den Blick kaum, beeinträchtigt allerdings die Wasserzirkulation zum offenen Meer. Wenn das Hotel nichts unternimmt, wird es auf absehbare Frist Probleme mit zunehmend störendem Seegras bekommen. Die Hotelzimmer des Jebel Ali Palm Tree Court & Spa sind alle zum Meer gerichtet und sind angenehm hell und geräumig. Auch wenn die Zimmer sehr gepflegt waren und es an nichts mangelte, bin ich sehr auf die für Sommer 2011 geplante, umfangreiche Renovierung des Hotels gespannt. (Das Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa wurde bereits sehr geschmackvoll renoviert.) Meine persönlichen Wünsche dazu wären nicht ganz so harte Matratzen und – zusätzlich zum vorhandenen, kostenlosen LAN-Anschluss – ein auch auf den Zimmern funktionierendes WLAN. Das Jebel Ali Hotel bietet eine gute Küche und ein breites Angebot verschiedener Restaurants, so dass man jeden Tag ein neues Restaurant ausprobieren kann. Unsere besonderen Empfehlungen sind der Shooting Club – erst Tontauben-Schießen, dann Surf&Turf – sowie das asiatische Restaurant mit der Möglichkeit, das Essen vor den eigenen Augen zubereitet zu bekommen. Hotellet ligger på Stranden med egen Marina og golfbane. Der er flere gode restauranter og en hyggelig sportsbar med rimelige priser. Flere opvarmede pools ca. 30 grader som man sætter stor pris på i de kolde måneder. Området udenfor resortet er ikke spændende, men der går gratis shuttle busser flere gange daglig til Dubai centrum og indkøbscentre.

Der er intet at udsætte på hotellet - og er du til golf, sol og strand kan det ikke blive bedre - men hotellet ligger 50 km fra Dubai og du er afhængig af taxa/hotellbus når du vil se andet en hotellet. Der er INTET i nærheden andet en "ørken".

Wir waren voll zufrieden mit dem Jebel Ali Hotel. Es liegt zwar 50 km ausserhalb von Dubai ist aber dafür eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Personal war ohne Ausnahme sehr freundlich. Die Hotelanlage ist super gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück erfüllt alle Wünsche, inklusive frisch gebratene Eier nach Wunsch. Was vielleicht etwas stört, ist der Blick am Strand […] auf die zur Zeit ruhenden Bauarbeiten der zweiten Palminsel. Der Golfplatz, eine Marina und das Wasserfugzeug sind direkt neben dem Hotel. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Busshuttle in die Stadt. Wir hatten einen Leihwagen direkt bei Ankuft am Flughafen gemietet und waren daher sehr flexibel. Das Hotel Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa hat seine 5 Sterne auf alle Fälle verdient. Sehr schöne Anlage mit eigenem Golfplatz, Tennisplätzen, Squashbox, Schießplatz, Hafen, Privatstrand, 4 Pools (beheizt, Süß- und Salzwasser), Wassersport- und Tauchzentrum, Kinderbetreuung, mehreren Restaurants und Strandbars. Integriert im Resort ist auch das Jebel Ali […] Palm Tree Court Appartement & Spa, vielleicht noch einen Tick nobler. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und wurde vor kurzem modernisiert. Das merkt man v.a. in den Gängen, Restaurants und den Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind modern in angenehmen Farben eingerichtet, die Bäder sind mit Wanne/Dusche, WC und Bidet ausgestattet (sehr geschmackvoll). Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Flachbildfernseher (auch mit deutschen Sendern), einem DVD-Player (mit Gratis-DVD-Verleih) und einem Schreibtisch mit Universalsteckdosen (also kein Adapter notwendig). WLAN ist gratis! Die Wände sind hoteltypisch dünn. Das Service ist top, allerdings sind manchmal fast schon zu viele Leute um einen bemüht, man kommt sich v.a. am Strand fast von Personal umzingelt vor. Das inkludierte Frühstücksbuffet ist eine Wucht, große Auswahl, auch an frisch zubereiteten Gerichten und Säften, allerdings gibt's nur Tee oder Filterkaffee. Die Lage des Resorts ist ca. 25-30 km südlich von Dubai Stadt, in Jebel Ali, eigentlich einer Industriezone. Davon merkt man allerdings nur bei der Anreise etwas. Vom Strand sieht man in der Ferne die Raffinerie, und bei ungünstigem Wind riecht man sie auch. Das ist allerdings auch schon das einzige Manko. Neben dem Resort wird eine weitere Palmeninsel gebaut, im Moment ist aber wegen der Krise Baustopp, d.h. keinerlei Belästigung von dieser Seite. Für Ausflüge gibt's ein Bus-Shuttle in die Stadt bzw. zu versch. Einkaufszentren, und ein Wasserflugzeug für Rundflüge oder als Taxi. Wenn man mehrere Ausflüge plant würde ich ein Mietauto empfehlen, dann ist man flexibler. Ich habe die Lage als sehr angenehm empfunden, weil Dubai "Downtown" doch 더 보기

Abu Dhabin ja Dubain hälinän ja liikennemelun jälkeen Jebel Ali oli kuin paratiisi. Oma puhdas ranta, erinomaiset harrastemahdollisuudet, haasteellinen golfkenttä (9-reikäisyys ei haittaa). Loistava perhekohde, hotellin shuttlebussilla tarpeen vaatiessa mukavasti Dubain kohteisiin noin tunnissa.

Vi är fantastiskt nöjda med vår vecka på Jebel Ali! Riktigt bra service och bra utbud av aktiviteter både för vuxna och barn. Området och framförallt stranden är väldigt bra skötta. Golfbanan är kul och i bra skick. Ngt kort, men perfekt för en snabb morgonrunda. Kan absolut tänka mig att åka tillbaka!

Jeg var bare på hotellet 2 netter, på vei fra Europa til India. Men jeg hadde booket meg inn på dette hotellet for å prøve spa tilbudet deres, og ble ikke skuffet i det hele tatt! Det var et utmerket spa-opphold, og hotellet i seg selv har veldig god service, 3-4 basseng (avhenger av hva man kaller et basseng) med både ferskvann og saltvann, og ligger […] rett ved en egen strand (selv at utsikten er mot byggingen av Jebel Ali palmen, som på midt reise-tidspunkt hadde stoppet opp). Jeg kan anbefale dette hotellet for de som ønsker god service og en avslappet reise, men jeg vil nok si at for mange dager her kan bli litt kjedelig ettersom hotellet ligger litt utenfor byen og det er et stykke med taxi inn til byen (45min). Det er begrenset hvor mye man kan ligge på en strand eller ved et basseng... Men for et kort opphold kan det absolutt anbefales hvertfall!! 더 보기

Hotellet ligger på stranden. Nydelige omgivelser. Et stykke inn til sentrum, men en komfortabel, gratis hotellbuss (med aircondition) har flere avganger til de største kjøpesenterene + gull- og diamantparken (ligger lengst unna - ca 50 min med bussen). Det som bør ses i Dubai er: Seilet, verdens høyeste bygning, Atlantis (akvarium+badeland), Twin-tower, […] alpin-anlegget i kjøpesenteret Mall of the Emirates. Kjøpesenteret Dubai Mall er verdens største, og har et fantastisk lys/vannshow rett på utsiden. Bør ses! Det er også fra Dubai Mall man har inngang til Burj Khalifa (verdens høyeste bygning). Kjøpesenteret Ibn Battuta Mall er et spennede senter som er inndelt i eksotiske land som Egypt, Kina, Asia etc.. Spennede og eksotisk atmosfære. Gull og diamanter er billig i Dubai, og Gull- og Diamantparken er absolutt verdt et besøk! Hotellets buss bringer og henter i nærheten av de fleste severdighetene. På hotellområdet kan man kjøre seilfly, dykke, surfe, kjøre "banan-båt", vannski, spille bordtennis. Det er også gratis aktiviteter som f.eks. vannaerobic hver dag, strand- og vannvollyball, kamelridning på stranden. Det er et saltvannsbasseng+ 2 ferskvannsbasseng ved hotellet, og det er en egen spa-avdeling. Fantastiske omgivelser rundt hotellet, og svært serviceinnstilte ansatte ved hotellet. 더 보기
