The hotel is conveniently located north of I70, exit 178, within minutes of the I70 and I77 interchange in east central Ohio. We used the facility simply as an overnight stay between NE Ohio and SE Ohio to facilitate an early morning arrival at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The hotel did't have a working internet, they told me to use the Bob Evens Internet. The Hallways smelled of smoke and were dark and dungy. The room was clean, but would not stay there again. The hotel is in serious need of updating!

We were traveling for the holidays and needed a dog-friendly hotel to stay overnight. Days Inn was one of the few allowing dogs, and Cambridge was a decent halfway point. We were placed on the third floor, so our dog had to hop on the elevator each time we would go outside. Kinda a bummer since the elevator scared her. There wasn't much of a good lawn […] space for the dog to walk or do her business. But when you're looking for places that accept dogs, you don't have room to be too choosey. The room was fine. We were in a king-sized business room. Cleanliness wasn't perfect, but we didn't expect it to be. The bed was a little too firm for my preference, but it was doable. There were too few easily accessible electrical outlets, something that would hopefully be addressed in a renovation. We had to unplug lights and appliances to find enough outlets to charge our camera, computers, phones and other gadgets. 더 보기

When the reservation was made, I requested a first floor room with handicapped parking. We were given a third floor room and the handicapped parking, there was 1 place, a UPS truck had taken up a space and a half, so NO HANDICAPPED PARKING WAS AVAILABLE. There were 2 handicapped people using the room, THANK GOD at least there was an elevator.

Yes, the carpets had stains, but they were still clean. The bed was wonderful. The room vary spacious. It was convenient to many eating places, while being close to the interstate highway. Just OK, would not stay there again.

This is an old motel that could use some refurbishing. The carpets are worn and the bathroom fixtures were stained. On other hand, the hotel was clean and very reasonably priced, and the breakfast was satisfactory. The staff on duty was accommodating, willingly making a room change upon my request. The motel is fine for a one-night stay.

This hotel's staff was very friendly and the hotel is located right off freeway. I believe the hotel is overpriced for the condition it is in. It is way past due for an upgrade.

Aside from severely stained carpets in my room, the hotel was great. Just off the exit ramp from I-70. Hotel desk personnel were a pleasure. Great deal for the money.

Only complaint is you were told that there would be 4 people but you continually only left towel for 3. which we would have to run and get more

We found the Days Inn to be clean, nicely appointed, and conveniently located off I-70. Plenty of places to eat and gas stations close by. The room rate was very reasonable. We would stay there again.

I just needed a place to stay that was quiet and clean. I got that. No bed bugs and clean beds. I had to pull the bed out to get to an electric outlet and noted a lot of debris and dirt. There was a half bottle of Sprite that was left under the bedside table. The room had a refrigerator and microwave with a bag of microwave popcorn and a granola bar […] let as comp. Old TV, but worked fine. Slow Internet, but that was noticed at the Bob Evans next door as well. Bathroom was very clean. I left pleased that I had gotten what I came for. 더 보기

Pleasant helpful staff. Easy access from highway. Nice pool. Clean rooms. Typical continental breakfast - no hot foods. Enjoyed our stay.

Didn't clean our rooms or give us towels one day, other than this, good for the money.

Hotel was overall clean and very nice for the price. Very convenient location and was great for our situation. However, the beds were quite possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on....really need to invest in new mattresses.

This was the very worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I am so thankful I did not bring my toddler. There were ants in the room, the air conditioner stopped working the day after we arrived and still wasn't repaired when we left three days later. The carpet was so dirty. I will never stay at another Days Inn because of this experience.

PROS: we looked thru a bunch of reviews in the cambridge area -- which is close enough to The Wilds to drive there in the AM -- and found the cheapest one that no one complained much about. This room was quiet and had a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge! [for truck drivers?] Also: a big clean pool (didn't get to use it, tho'). The rooms were fresh […] & brightly lit -- 6 lamps -- and were kept nice and cold with the A/C unit. Big window. No bugs or bedbugs. Efficient check-in. We did not eat their breakfast but went up the street to a famous breakfast place instead for a hot meal. The parking lot seems suitable for 18-wheel trucks. CONS: the halls were dark and smelled like cleanser (room was perfect). The beds have a funny liner that does not lay flat. I liked the pillows but my wife said they were too soft. The A/C unit is VERY loud when starting up -- enough to startle me until I got used to it. The trucks do make alot of noise when backing up. Minor points... we would stay there again. 더 보기

the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. It was fine for an overnight stay. We were just passing through on a long drive home, so it was fine overall. The decor is severely outdated and the elevator was so so old. It served it's purpose.

I try to be considerate when reviewing hotels, but Days Inn in Cambridge needs major updating and renovating. Mattress were the worst I've seen in a long time-- I would say horrible, to look at and sleep on. Can't imagine why they are still using them. Carpets and decor-- outdated, dingy. It was clean on the surface, but I wish I hadn't looked at our […] mattress (hard not too- sheets didn't fit properly.) The staff was very friendly and accomadating. Our son feel into the metal door frame in the bathroom and we had to take him to the local hospital and the girls working helped give us directions and were geniunely concerned about his condition. Breakfast was okay- very basic continental. Again, something more like hotels offered in the early 90's. Definately a stay that will take you back a couple of decades in all ways possible. 더 보기

Was very pleased with room and location of hotel. The breakfast could have been better, the pool was not open and the second floor hallway reeked of cigerette smoke

We were supposed to have a none smoking room but you could smell Cigarette smoke in the room . When you get off the elevator it was like someone shoved a nasty old ash try up your face.The Girl at the front desk were nice and courteous. Staff was very nice, but this place is falling apart. A/C unit was broken, tiles in shower are cracked and coming off wall, room smells musky and on top of all that the place was filthy. I have stayed in several Days Inn's over the years and have always been pretty satisfied, but this one was awful. Very nice room for the price range. Was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge and microwave also. No issues whatsoever. Nice staff, convenient location, lots close by. Typical continental breakfast and fresh. Thanks!

everything was pretty nice overall ,the only thing that was wrong was the bathroom door would not latch shut,but again overall we had a very nice relaxing stay,thank you, Rhonda

Days Inn , Cambridge, was Okay for the money we spent. It was clean. The beds weren't very comfortable and the bedspreads didn't smell fresh. The halls seemed dimly lit and the place could use some air freshener. Was okay for 1 night, but not a longer stay.

Hotel was clean, very basic amenities, no frills. Beds were comfy, was great for our overnight stay. Easy to get to and was very quick and easy to check in. We traveled with our dog so that is why we chose this hotel. We were pleased with our stay.

hotel was clean, room was large, and breakfast was good. hotel doesn't have the amenities of other places, but was a great value for the money.

This was my first stay at this location and I found it to be well worth the money. They had microwave and frig in room, though I didn't use it. Room was clean and I had no complaints. The only surprise I had during my stay was when I went to take a shower and there was no shower curtain, but the Room Keeping Personnel rapidly changed that and brought in a new curtain. Thank you all for a very pleasant stay.

it was a nice room with an in room safe that i wasn't expecting as it wasn't in the description. we did have a nice fridge/microwave combo in our room. the only real problem was the lack of hot water for a shower in the morning. the water was luke warm at best. over all the room and location was a good value since we were heading home from vacation […] and needed an overnight stop. there was adecent continental breakfast of cereal and bagles and the like with juice and coffee. if you wanted something more there were many other restaurants around to choose from. 더 보기

Other reviews made me a bit scared but the hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. I went there for a hunting trip and therefore had to get up very early. They ended up starting the breakfast an hour earlier than normal just so I could get some before I had to leave. The wireless internet was extremely fast too. I've been in a number […] of hotels recently and none had internet access that fast. Overall, I had a great experience there and would highly recommend it to anyone. the room was clean upon check in but we got skipped on linnen service. It took 2 hours and 2 phone calls for the front desk to send up towels. An electrical outlet was hanging out of the wall, we reported it and it still didnt get fixed on our stay.We had a do not disturb sign on our door and at 8am they started to vaccuum the halls, annoying... on […] day 2 again with the linen service.. no clean towels or trash taken out. This time I went to get my own towels.It was a dissapointing stay, I was on business so I really only slept in the room, but it would have been nice if it was cleaned while I was gone. Also...they advertised HBO in rooms, and it was not available, We called front desk and they said some rooms have it and some don't 더 보기

Don't take a first floor room poor to no intewrnet service. Complained daily about they would log it in maintance but nothing never happened. Breakfast is lousy out of coffee crouded in one tiny corner. Way over priced for what you get. Front desk does not care. very good. As expected. No complaints

This hotel is in need of updating and renovations. What they have is serviceable.

This hotel seemed 'older' and in need of some renovation. The safety rail in the shower was loose. There was visible wear to the carpet and signs of a prior leak in the corner of the ceiling. It was very clean and everyone was very friendly. They also had the most basic of continental breakfasts.

great hotel

I was placed in a room right next to the laundry room, so in the morning I could hear pounding from the washing and drying machines around eight or nine. Other than that, the room was perfect and the pool was amazing!

I'm a little picky about the looks of the shower and the grout in the tile looked mildewy. The hallways and elevator need new carpet and the doors need bumpers so they don't slam so loud. Slamming doors interupted my sleep.

The "non-smoking" room was smokey. The blanket had a cigarette burn on it. The room and bathroom felt grimy. From the reviews I read before booking, I was expecting better.
