We stayed Easter weekend. the room service & regular breakfast were closed due to an opportunity to have brunch for an extra expense. We had the a la carte breakfast, which was sufficient. The staff was very accomodating, allowing us to use their frig & microwave, as we switched rooms from king to king handicap & it didn't have those available. The breakfast options weren't great. I thought I would order the Denver omelet... it was pretty bad. You are better off going to a fast food restaurant. Other than that the hotel was okay for a quick stay.

We had a great stay, and we used the 20% discount coupon for the hotel restaurant! Nice!

We had a good stay with La Quinta. The problem I had with our stay was the area it is in, I had looked it up on Google maps and expected to make the 20 min walk to the Tacoma Dome. Upon arriving there friendly staff advised us not to, we drove to the event and ended up paying $20 to park. Other than that, it was what we expected.

My sister passed away which met we needed two nights in a nearby Motel. We are very satisfied with the compassion and assistance whether it would be a question or directions. The cafe was excellent. My son and his wife and 6 kids were forced out of their home by the blackout in Seattle/Tacoma WA. I called your customer service number and got the GREATEST service from a man named "Kohl". I don't know if that was a first or last name. He spent quite a bit of time to not only find a hotel with power, but one that had 2 rooms, a back up generator and […] took their dog. Our power had been out for three days and we (my boyfriend and I). We're starting to get on each others nerves so this hotel was the first one we found that had a room for us, the cost aw reasonable the service was wonderful and there is a lot to do in the area. We had a great time I would deffintly go there again.

Front desk service helpful and friendly. Parts of hotel are updated (lobby) and parts are very outdated (elevator, popcorn room ceilings) but for the convenience/location and good price, overall our stay was pleasant. The new flat-screen TV (w/HBO) and plush mattresses were added perks.

Did not know that a casino was only a couple of blocks away that I could have gone to.

I wasn't sure what to expect, knowing the area around the Tacoma Dome can be a bit sketchy, but this hotel was GREAT. Very close to the dome ($6 cab ride) VERY helpful and friendly staff, decent complimentary breakfast, clean, comfy, PERFECT. I was so pleased that we chose this location. I would have to say this was one of the nicer rooms I have had in recent months. Very nice, very clean and I truly enjoyed my stay. If all the rooms are like the one I had, it would be hard to find negative areas.

Very nice room, a little bit noise, there is a train station close by, breakfast just ok.

My family and I spent five nights/6 days at the La Quinta on 27th street this past weekend (9/10/11) The front desk staff was awesome! Very helpful, outgoing and made you feel welcome. Josh, Annie and Tawni did an outstanding job! My only complaint would be the continental breakfast - it was the same old thing every day and the fact that they offered […] bread, bagels and frozen waffles the toaster (yes the only ONE toaster) was always busy. They had a wait staff and you needed to wait to take a seat or even go directly to the continental breakfast. I always felt like I was obligated to leave a tip and felt uncomfortable asking for extra creamer for my coffee for my room. Besides this I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again. 더 보기

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was free, but average. A hot meal was extra. The room was large and clean. The internet is free. The dinner was good and the hotel offered a 20% discount to guests. We would stay again when in Tacoma.

We stayed one night when Puyallup for a conference. very convenient to restaurants on the wharf, pretty drive. the free "breakfast" was not enjoyable at all compared to other hotels. there was no fruit, waffles nor anything hot. plastic utinsils and cups and tiny plastic cereal bowls, very limited pastries. The hotel was clean and well-kept, but the AC and heat kept switching back and forth to set the room temperature. Also, the toilet wouldn't flush effectively and plugged up after two paper-free uses -- clearly a problem from previous guests. Loved the size of the room and the king size bed, just wish the pool was open later.

Staff very professional and friendly -- great service. Free continential breakfast - only one problem with pool -- lack of pool towels -- corrected quickly, but with room towels. The location is not the greatest - industrial area [?] However, it just off the # 5 Interstate so that it is an easy access from either the North or South. Reasonable reates […] and if you have a pet they are welcome; however, two very large dogs almost were ready to fight each other. Overall I'd recommend a stay agt La Qinta in Tacoma. we have stayed in this hotel before and liked it. The stay again was very nice.

This is the first time I have ever been in a motel where I didn't have control over the temperature in my room. When I arrived, the room was way too warm and warm air was coming out of the air conditioner. When i tried to adjust it, I found out the buttons and dials had been removed. Then I tried to open the window, but no screen. My room was not very […] clean and the maintenance that had been done in various places was tacky. We found the staff very friendly. Check in was a snap. The room was clean and well prepared. The free breakfast offer was great, but we chose to order off the menu. Our choice, not due to any lack of the breakfast buffet offerings.

A little noisy on the second floor, sink plugged up other than that just fine

Accomodations were okay. Nothing special but nothing bad. Bar had decent priced drinks. Fitness room did not have a treadmill though I was told that it did.

Was perfect for what we wanted. Close to the EQC Showroom and well in our budget. The rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful. Will stay again!

This place was better than I expected. Very good value for the price, and a big bonus is the restaurant with complimentary continental breakfast. Clean room.

Staff was friendly and very helpful with info about surrounding area, but the check in process was a lot slower than I expected. The appearance of the hotel was worse than what I was prepared for. I expected it to be cleaner than it was. Maybe because of the age of the building, it just didn't look clean or vacuumed at all. The room had a foul odor […] as if someone had used the toilet prior to me checking in and also needed a good vacuuming. We stayed here after going to the Puyallup fair and found it easy to get to after the fair. It was late at night when we checked in but we had no problems. 2nd visit here and no problems.

Checking in was very easy, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was SO comfy,...didn't want to get up! We also had a pet friendly room, and was happy to meet it smelling and looking clean, as I'm very particular when it comes to cleanliness.
