좋은 호텔, 최고의 질은 빠똥(IN 빠똥 아님)과 인접한 위치 예요. 욕실은 수리가 필요했어요. 이런 스탠다드 호텔인 것에 비해 너무 작았고 물 때 제거 작업이 필요했어요. 인터넷 접속은 객실에 포함 되지 않았고 5일에 65달라 정도 했어요. 우리가 사용하기엔 너무 비싸요. 그리고 이상한 건, 노트북 당 65 달러를 지불할 준비가 돼 있어도, 비밀 번호를 한 번에 하나의 노트북에만 사용할 수 있다는 거예요.

우리는 이곳에 6명이서 3방을 나눠서 묵었다. 서비스는 매우 좋았다. 우리가 해변가에서 할 수 있는 것들에 관해서 물어보았을 때 매우 친절하게 대답해 주었다. 스쿠버 다이빙을 담당하는 곳이 있어서 하루는 스쿠버 다이빙 체험을 했다. 단 한가지 실망한 점이 있다면 방들이 해변 경치를 볼 수 있게 되어 있지만 반정도는 다른방의 지붕에 가려져 있었다. 아침식사를 할수 있는 곳은 코랄 해변에 매우 가깝게 위치해 있지만 공사를 한다는 이유로 초록색 네트에 가려져서 그곳에 갈 수 없었다.

Nice hotel just up the hill from the main strip. Close to everything, but a bit quieter. Seemed to be a slightly older, more reserved clientele. Beautiful views of bay. Location was fantastic. A 15 min walk from Bangla road, Patong. It has a number of stairs - but that's because it's located onthe side of a hill, overlooking the bay. Negatives were mold around room air conditioner, bathroom shower door broken and always open. Positives of hotel were good happy hour drinks for cost. Food at hotel was average. Best part of stay was views from happy hour bar and from room. We could understand how the walk into town and back to hotel is annoying, but it isn't a big deal.

They took care of our bags for an entire day and let us use their pool and facilities while we waited for our midnight flight. We didn't want to leave Phuket. The location on a hill overlooking the bay is beautiful and quiet but yet a quick ride into town. Room was very clean. Free internet in the lobby was nice. A hotel way up on the hill away from the township, unless you are prepared to pay for an overpriced tuk tuk or taxi for a trip to town then you need to prepare yourself for a good 15 minute walk. The hotel is beautiful, set on a cliff. However if you are expecting to go from bed to beach, look elsewhere. The beach that the hotel is on is not swimmable. The hotel itself has decent restaurants and the breakfast buffet is very good. However the trek to town is not manageable by foot. You would need a tuk tuk or taxi to go shopping.

The service level and friendliness of the staff in all areas of the hotel was excellent, as was the quality of the buffet breakfast which was included in the room rate. We have been travelling around Thailand starting with Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and now Phi Phi Island. Our stay at Amari was the worst place I've ever stayed in all my travels and especially in comparison to stays around Thailand. I'm not sure how this hotel received 4 star rating, but they clearly spent all the money on the restaurants and lobby […] and not the hotel rooms. The rooms could use some spackle and even paint to make them more presentable. Bathroom was awkward and the air conditioning didn't work properly, walls were very thin and you could hear everthing. Restaurants were a hike down the hill from the room. Tuk Tuk rides down to Patong Beach and shopping were $200 baht each way which isn't a lot but it does add up...I would recommend staying somewhere more convenient for less $ such as Holiday Inn or there was also a very nice looking resort and spa down the hill as well. Situated at the southern part of Patong beach, the Amari is set in it's own lush tropical landscaped grounds, and faces the sea along the full length of the resort. It has a Jetty that is a fair walk form the main building but definitely worthwile. Our room overlooked the sea, the waves lapping beneath our balcony. The room was a standard one but was […] well maintained and very clean. Complimentary tea / coffee in the room as well as a daily supply of drinking water. A free newsaper is also provided daily. A good selection of restaurants on site, with themed nights - the Seafood BBQ was excellent (wine with the meal pushes up the cost but compliments the meal and atmosphere). The excellent buffet breakdfast caters for all tastes and is well presented and of a good quality standard. The 2 swimming pools are great! plenty of towels.If you want to go to the beach or on a day trip to the Islands, the hotel will let you take their towels (available from the concierge desk). Only downside (for some) is the fact that hotel is built on the side of a hill overlooking the sea; so lots of steps to climb (there is a lift located in the lobby area that serves all levels but some steep inclines will need to be faced). On the upside - the steps help burn the holiday calories. Easy access to Patong: beach, Bangala Road etc; Suggest walking into town (downhill) and take a Tuk Tuk back fromthe town to the hotel. 더 보기

Even though the hotel claim all rooms are sea-view, do take note that you want a full sea-view when making reservation as our superior room only had a partial view as we were obstructed by the roof top of the block in front of us. All massages are outdoor in open huts offering a fantastic sea-view with lots of surrounding greenery, but unfortunately bring with it a squadron of mozzies. We stayed in the deluxe room which faced the beach. It was a pleasure to sleep at night with the sounds of the waves. The balconies are very private so you could be in your own world. The rooms are very spacious although the bathrooms are very small for a luxury hotel. We also had consistent trouble with the toilet flush. But as soon as we called housekeeping […] for any problems they were there within a few minutes. We also found it strange that the TVs were not flat screens but rather the old ones and were far away from the bed for viewing – not that we came to watch TV. We were very happy with the location in that it was close enough to Patong to walk, while not being in the middle of all the noise. The resort is very inclusive and you do not have to leave it to holiday. The staff are wonderful and tried to accommodate all our needs. The spa is very pricey but even if you do not have a massage there, you must go take a look at the location and the spa rooms. The effect is unbelievable but the massage not so great. We took a driver for 4 hours to see the main sights in Phuket – the Big Buddha, temples, an elephant ride and the scenic spots. Don't use the tour guide desk at the hotel – it was literally double the price of any booths down the street. We used a gut called Wit at the "Nice" booth. We also took the boat ride to Phi Phi and stayed there overnight. If you want to do this make sure that you book the right boat as not many give that option. On the way they stopped at two other islands for snorkeling, well worth it. The hotel put up a stage next to the pool area for Christmas shows. The construction was particularly noisy over one whole day and also blocked the entrance from the grassy areas to parts of the pool. After complaining, the manager of the hotel offered us a free meal at the very exclusive La Gritta restaurant on site. Hotel staff were rude and charge us 70$ usd for an extra bed upon check-in. They gave us the furthest room in the resort and there are a lot of stairs in the resort. Do not go there if you don't like stairs. Rooms was not great. Was expecting much more considering the reviews on trip advisor.

Great location. Very close to all the Patong action, yet just far enough away for a spa-like retreat. A short 5-10 minute walk into town, or very quick tuk-tuk ride. Facilities are superb. While all the staff seemed very friendly, my only complaint is that […] the lobby employees lacked customer service skills. They were somewhat indirect in their communications, and I always felt like they were not quite on my side. For instance, the concierge is basically a third-party tour operator only promoting a few specific tours. They are not good at explaining all of the independent options. Likewise, the bellhop/transportation desk dealt solely with taxis stationed outside the hotel and ready to upcharge you (hint: walk down the hill and catch a taxi/tuk-tuk). Lastly, at check-out they made us wait while someone went to check on our room (minibar, I presume).
