I am not sure what hotel those who gave the negative reviews stayed at, but we had a very positive experience. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. The kitchenette was a great trade-off for no breakfast. With an early flight, we picked up a couple of frozen breakfast meals, popped them in the microwave, ate and […] were on our way. Wow...I can honestly say this reminded me of a ghetto hotel in downtown Atlanta. The decor, I kid you not, is a throwback to the 70's....everything is stark white formica and patio chairs. I kept looking for one of those plug-in heating coil cookers it was so bad. The bed was hard, the heater didn't work without putting a sour smell out that smelled […] like cat urine. The TV was a 19 inch CRT that only got a few channels. I had to PAY to get WiFi over 54 mbps (that is dial-up people!)...I kid you not! I actually used my cell phone tether for my internet after a half hour because it would stop and start, slow up and down. I learned of the speed through a speed test, and that still took a long time it barely registered. I was so disgusted with this place, that I spent one night in it (because it was late when I got there), that I literally left in the morning and went down the street. This hotel was convenient to KC Airport just 5 minutes away. The overall hotel is average in room condition. I would stay there again if I wanted to be near airport.

This hotel is good to stay in. I washed clothes (though it was around 7 dollars per load) and enjoyed the room itself. Because it has a kitchenette in the room; they do not feel obligated to provided breakfast. In order to go somewhere to find food, it was a very expensive cab ride ($35.00 round trip). The front desk clerk at this hotel was very polite and cheery and her upbeat personality was pleasant to see after a long tiring drive. I was very pleased with the layout of the rooms and how quiet they were. I would absolutely stay at the Extended Stay again in the future. No ice machines available and no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. No breakfast either. Just too little services and amenities available. Other hotels that are only $5 or $10 more have much more to offer. Pretty disappointed.

thunder lightning and fire and smoke alarms going of at 2:45 am and continued until 3:45 am had to fly at 6am Very little sleep

When i got to my room there were bugs and spiders we left right away and they would not refund us or let us get our money from expedia back even though expedia told us we could wityh there promision. then accuse us of having drugs on us in our room that we did not stay in

If you are staying in the city for more than 3 days, then ok to settle there. Small kitchen area in the room. No free wifi No hair dryer. Front desk closes at midnight. The doors to the hotel close at midnight. There was not one to man the front desk when I checked out at 4am. A note, if any problems dial 0. The man who answered said to leave the key […] under the gate and press the red button to open the door. I chose this hotel for price and closeness to the airport. It was a bad snowy day when I arrived, that night when I drove back to the hotel. The parking lot had not been shoveled. The other hotles had the service, driving in the lot was difficult. I was extremely disappointed with the Extended Stay. They should be embarrassed. The hotel was really run down, but worst off, the staff had no communication skills what so ever. I was assigned a room, and I went to that room hoping to relax after a day of traveling from Sheraton to KCI to Extended Stay. I walked into the room to find a messy, filthy […] room. The bed was unmade, towels on the floor, dishes everywhere.... obviously there was no communication. I was shocked! The room had a very musty stale smell, I had to open the windows for 4-5 hours to get it aired out.

no frills, simple, basic room. the kitchenette is a nice addition (including full size fridge). No hotel restaurant, no place to eat in the immediate area.

This hotel won out over others because of the free parking. Huge negative, though--there was a giant, disgusting stain on the sheets. Not excusable.

My flight arrived as scheduled just after midnight, and I expected to have an airport shuttle to the hotel. I quickly learned that the shuttle service shuts down at 11 p.m. I called the 800 number who then contacted the local hotel, and the night manager made a special trip to pick me up--saving me a $20 taxi ride.

I was very, very pleased to be so close to the airpot, because my flight was an early departure. The weather was very stormy and rainy the night before, but I was so close it made it easy to arrive on time. I was also greatful that I did not have to be up extremely early. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.

The service was not all that great. The clerk was more concerned with his personal call than seeing to my reservation. Also, the room was not very clean. The carpets were stained and I was afraid to walk barefooted. Showers also looked like it had been awhile since being cleaned.

Great for the cost. Basic, clean, ck-in good, staff good, conv location, shuttle to airport good, (pickup a little slow), fantastic one week free parking- saved me some parking $, Gotta quit booking 6AM flights!

I found this hotel for a pretty good price when compared to all the other hotels nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the kitchen area that was in the room. It was nice to have the 'fridge to store beverages in while we were away. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure, but they didn't include any sort of shampoo or […] lotion like most hotels do. The front desk attendant was nice enough and answered my questions, but she didn't seem too thrilled to be working. The two bad things about my stay included an outside door that was inaccessible because of a broken handle (we had to go in through the front door instead) and the fact that a housekeeping lady woke us up at 8:30 knocking on the door. I didn't see any sort of do not disturb sign that I could place out there, and I would have thought that the housekeepers would know which hotel rooms still had guests. Other than that, it was a pretty enjoyable stay, and definitely worth the price I paid. 더 보기

The hotel is located close to the airport and highways, which makes for easy access to the city. Having a small kitchen in the studio suite makes it nice for stays longer than a few days. A rental car is a must if you are going to be staying at this hotel. The front desk staff were nice, friendly, and helpful.
