I realize you can't stop people from smoking but our room smelled of cigarettes and I saw people in the hallway smoking. Perhaps there is some way to make sure smokers understand that they need to specify that they are smokers. No one asked me if I wanted a non smoking room but I definitely did. That was the only real problem.

2 problems - the phone has a continuously blinking red light for a message. There was none. Reported twice - nothing happened. Breakfast was boring and repetative Waffles stuck to iron as the manager did not want the release spray used???? Low quality rolls, eggs, and fruit was not impressive.

Staff were excellent, breakfast was good, BUT the beds were NOT comfortable. Don't know if Queen are even offered here; only Double were listed. Way too small for two adults. And when you sit on the foot of the bed and the mattress sinks way down, that is a pretty good sign that the mattress is not supportive, and it wasn't. It was way too soft ,causing […] us to wake with aching backs. We are of average weight, so that was not the cause of the problem. Have stayed at other Hampton Inns and been very, very satisfied. Very nice!! Would stay again!! But was looking for something a bit closer to 6th street!! About a 15 min drive!! But over all the hotel was clean and very nice!!!

I purchased a room through hotels.com for my daughter visiting Austin. She had no complaints, but rather all good comments for this hotel. She, her husband, and kids loved the room and especially the breakfast.

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns... This one was not at all like the others. It was very old, very tacky, and the room was not very clean (as the commercials for Hampton stress). Will not stay here again. Also, the breakfast was awful. Old apples, old yogurt... Ew.

First time in Austin, TX and enjoyed convenience of hotel to resturaunts, shopping and ease of access to airport and downtown Austin. Good Breakfast in the morning and warm cookies at night. Would stay there again.

I was impressed with Hampton Inn's use of space in the double room we stayed in, especially the bathroom. I loved the wood vanity with shelves in the bathroom. Finally a hotel that uses space that is wasted in other facilities! The complimentary breakfast was not the greatest, but okay. The hotel staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. My only […] complaint with the room is if you turn the fan off, you won't have the A/C, and I assume heat if you need it, unless you manually turn the fan back on. The sound of the fan constantly running affected my ability to get to sleep. So, after the second night, when the outside temp fell, I turned the fan off and slept quite well. 더 보기

As usual, the staff at this Hampton Inn was friendly and prompt. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good and it was good having access to hot beverages at any time in the lobby. This was our 3rd time at this particular Hampton Inn and I would recommend it to anyone.

I was glad I was only about 4ish miles away from the sites and sounds of Austin. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was there for work, but also stayed the weekend for fun. Good job!

This is a comfortable and affordale hotel. The location is not very pleasant at the intersection of two major freeways, but it is semi-convenient to where we were visiting in Austin

You know its been a nice stay when your main complaint is how slow the TV channels change! For the money this was a great hotel...right off I35, secure, clean, and with a friendly staff! WIll stay there again!

I got to the hotel really early. Asked for a early check in but the nice, charming girl behind the counter said that my room was not ready but she would see how soon she could get it ready for me. The hotel is a little awkward to get to, but worth finding. It had everything you would expect from a hotel in this price range -- clean, comfortable rooms; nice breakfast including eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, pastries, and fresh fruit; courteous, professional, and helpful staff There is a lot of outside noise from the nearby highway, but once inside […] the rooms are serenely quiet. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the cab ride downtown to go out was very reasonable. Considering the price was about half what the downtown hotels charge it was a great choice. I would stay here again next time I come to Austin.

We really enjoyed the week. The staff at this hotel are absolutely awesome. They made sure we had no problems and were totally pleased with our stay. The hot breakfast was good and the variety was welcomed. The room was quiet and comfortable. We will definately stay at this location.

Good stay. Clean room. A little issue with safety deposit box use. Breakfast was decent. No problem with car services. Parking lot up front well lit. Recommended.

This is the second year we have chosen this hotel for our ACL weekend. They are fantastic! We had a mid communication with our shuttle company and were left behind at 11pm on a Saturday night and it was a four mile walk in a heavily trafficked area. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and was done walking for the day after being outside at the festival all day […] and walking the 1 1/2 miles from the park to the shuttle, so I called the hotel for help. They comped me and my husband a cab and took care of it with the shuttle company later. These are really good people! The front desk clerk was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me. I had to leave the hotel by 5:30 and breakfast wasnt served until 6. She had them pack me a breakfast to go for me to pick up on my way out. I appreciated her help and kindness in making my stay better.

Easy location, good for the price. Not a lot in the area to walk to for food places or entertainment. Night clerk was extremely nice and helpful. DOWNSIDE!!! My husband got in late the first night and went to bed. We woke up the next morning and realized there was dried blood on the sheets. Pretty gross.

Visited Austin a few days ago and all I can say is the Hampton Inn really surprised us. Room was super comfortable, the reception greeted us with incredible chocolate chip cookies and fresh coffee as always. The buffet breakfast was okay, nothing fancy and few dishes, but enough to start up the day. The location is good if you're moving around a lot […] and have a car. We did, and we went up and down the city all day long, and the hotel was pretty much in the center. I have stayed at this facility twice. The bed was super comfy. The staff nice and professional. I would stay there again if my business takes me back to Austin TX.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. Everything was great. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this location for the July 4th weekend and really enjoyed it. My first room had a problem with the cable TV and I was quickly changed into a nearby room. Slept great, very clean room with flat-screen TV and the morning breakfast was fairly tasty. Front desk was very helpful and the location was right next to several major highways. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. Even though the hotel was full and lots of buzz going on given the SXSW activity, we were treated as if we were the only guests and given as much attention. The cleanliness and quality of the buffet was superior and the staff was so helpful.

Good clean hotel with good Desk staff. Located in a quiet office/hotel park. At the corner of I35 & Ben White (71) quite near to the airport.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and everything was in order. would definitely recommend this hotel.

Even though we requested a non-smoking room, half of the hallway is designated for smoking. The odor is so strong that our room smelled like smoke. The room is small and so are the beds, unless you request a King. We also found the bathroom to be small and hard to share. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
