The staff was the highlight of our stay. Can't go wrong with a king size bed either. The surrounding area was OK but 3 minutes in any direction resulted in some pretty uncomfortable surroundings. Definitely accomplished what I was expecting/wanting but in my upcoming trip in June I will be staying elsewhere.

I have stayed at this hotel many time due to it's great location near my companies headquarters. The staff is always very nice and I always feel safe when staying there. My only negative feedback is that I has a non smoking room and my room smelled like someone had smoked in it. I was visiting for business and the city is crappy BUT they had the NICEST staff! Plus a shuttle to take to you from the hotel to your meetings!

My daughter attends college nearby and I've been staying at this hotel for more than 2 yrs. My room (and the hotel itself) is always clean and the staff is beyond helpful! On my previous visit, my granddaughter was traveling with me and was very sick. I requested an EARLY check-in (11 am) and they said, "no problem." big room, big tub, nice and clean, good wifi, no free breakfast? too much money too.

Had a great staff. Very nice looking hotel. Good restaurant. Housekeeping responsive and parking was cheap.

Traveling on Amtrak there's no better option for location. It's a decent hotel, clean and well taken care of. But the heating units in the room are ridiculously noisy and will kick in all night long. Most unpleasant.

for the price and for the brand (Holiday Inn) this was an amazing hotel. Room was 4-star quality and restaurant & bar had a nice selection.

I chose the hotel for its proximity to 95. It was pretty much what you'd expect. The room I was put in was next to the elevator which made it noisy, even at 3am. The room was standard (quite expensive for what you get) but the bathroom was cramped and outdated. The bar was quite nice, but the breakfast was less than basic -really disappointing.

Very satisfied with your service, clean rooms, everyone was very nice and helpful....However, you ask for a credit card when arriving....I have no problem with this...I do have a problem the day we are checking out with the office assuming this is the credit card i will be using for any additional charges to our room..I booked on-line...but, we did […] have the parking fee and the refreshments from the bar that were additional charges....I would have preferred to be asked from the desk attendant, if I would like to use the card that was on file...Now I will be watching my next statement to be sure I was not charged twice and if so a credit is put on the first card I presented...I just thought it would have been a better way to handle the final transaction...and if I had just walked out, at check out time, then by all means I could understand billing that credit card...All in all it was a nice hotel and your staff were great.....Thank You...have a great day....Ms. Mello 더 보기

I was visiting family and this Holiday Inn was a very nice unexpected surprise. It was clean. The beds were great and the room was large. Great HD TV.

The hotel was very luxurious and offered a lot to do. The surrounding neighborhood left a lot to be desired but the hotel had great security precautions and we had a really enjoyable time. HOTEL WAS CLEAN, AND VERY ACCESSABLE TO ALOT OF RESTRUANTS ETC.

While this hotel is conveniently located in the city, this is also part of the problem. The city is quite depressed and dangerous and you will have immediate access to lovely facet! My room did not have air conditioning. When I asked about this upon my arrival (at 1 a.m.) I was told I can't switch you until someone verifies. The "someone" was the security […] guard (at least they know the entrance needs to be guarded at all times!) and he didn't know what he was doing. He said it would take 10-15 minutes. At this time I unpacked and laid awake until 2 a.m. a room temperature of 79 degrees. The desk staff were not helpful! 더 보기

We chose this hotel because we were on our way home from Cape Cod and were were getting on the Bridgeport ferry to Long Island the following morning so it is is in a very convenient location if you are using the ferry. Also it is right off of I-95. The only downside of this hotel is that it is not in a great location. There are a lot of surrounding […] abandoned bulding with graffiti. It's not really a place that I would walk around in. The hotel does offer a secure parking garage across the street that cost $6. Also for extra security, you need you room key card to access the elvators to the rooms. The staff member we encountered were very pleasent and helpful. The lobby was large and comfortable. It also has a restaurant and a bar/lounge. In the morning they have a breakfast buffet. It's not complimentary but it was still nice. The room was large and beautiful. There are plenty of places to put your luggage. The bed was comfotable and they offer both firm and soft pillows. They have a nice large flat screen HDTV. The vanity by the bathroom was spacious. They also do a rapid checkout where they slip your bill/receipt under your door in the morning and anything charges that you accrued during your stay will be charged to your credit card on file so there is no need to stop by reception on the way out. I attended Fairfield University, graduatingin1956 when NO one went to Bridgeport for anything. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, very convenient to I-95 hotel in the heart of Bridgeport with its very helpful staff.

The Hotel was very nice and so were all the personal. The room was very comfortable especially the bed, we loved it. Room service was very quick and the food good. We would stay there again.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Amenities vary from stay to stay; sometimes you receive a newspaper during your stay, the next time not; sometimes breakfast is included with your reservation, the next time not. But overall, it's a good hotel. Price is worth the value.

We were just staying one night as we were seeing a show in fairfield. I try to book a reasonable but nice place as we have a large family and don't get away much so we appreciate a quality lodging. Your hotel far exceeded our expectations.

Everything was perfect, just missing (small)refrigerator, and safe box. Thankssssss

Stayed at this hotel only overnight on my way to New York. Staff was very nice. Room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Parking only six dollars. Internet was free. This is a fine hotel in a less than attractive neighborhood. We were on a long road trip and it made for a very comfortable overnight stay. The bar had great cocktails and Mom ordered the Sweet Potato fries and said they were great. We walked to a Chinese restaurant for dinner it was fine. I would not go out alone here after dark. The hotel was beautiful the service was great checked in and out with no problems great big room the food was amazing an overall great place alot of food places just a short walk from the front door i will definately stay there again

A one night stay on our way from NJ to Rhode Island. Very convenient hotel. Surprised that the 9.95 buffet breakfast was reduced to around $4 each as we only at cerial an toast. A pleasant surprise :-)

The Holiday Inn in Bridgeport is a well-run and pleasant hotel in a rather dicey neighborhood. A lot of vacant commercial buildings in the area and a lot of rather down and out types on the nearby streets. The hotel itself is clean with a more than competent and friendly staff.

Conveniently located, very clean & updated.

excellent accomodations and prices. so glad my dog could stay there too...loved it!

I don't expect much from hotels anymore, but Holiday Inn didn't disappointment. Room was nice, clean, comfortable The heating unit was a little noisy.

Clean, respectable hotel for the price. Quiet neighboring area and secure parking garage was a huge plus. It's not the Ritz, but it was a positive experience just the same. Only downfall - couldn't rent a movie in the hotel room...other than that, it was a great stay.

room was comfortable and the only A plus staff people were the maids. They were helpful when I needed a razor and shaving cream, unlike the front desk clerks who seemed more interested in talking on their cell phones than helping guests. Very mediocre place.

I was a little dubious about this hotel while driving into town after dark, because it seemed as if the surrounding area was a little on the depressed side. But the hotel turned out to be terrific - luxurious, even. The room was immaculate (newly renovated, maybe?), the bed extremely comfortable, and the onsite restaurant's prices were quite reasonable. […] Even room service prices were reasonable! The only glitch was that the room service staff never collected my breakfast order from the doorknob, so I went downstairs and had the breakfast buffet - but that was a minor detail. The room was satisfactory and the restaurant food was good. The service was amazingly questionable. The front desk staff would continue personal or colleague phone calls when I was satanding in front of them waiting for acknowledgement, the restaurant servers had to be reminded by me to bring me more water.. they were busy talking to each other, the […] sign in my room said.. if you forgot anything, just call and you ll have it brought up to you..." I needed a razor and called. The front desk clerk told me to go out and find the maid on the floor. The maid was very nice, and offered to go down to the front desk and get me one, but I decided to do it myself. The maid said usually they send it up. Also, when I was using the business center computer, the kept shutting off. When I went to the front desk..which was not busy at all.. she said she;d be right there. She never came. I am not that fussy, but felt like I didn;t exist. It has a lazy staff. I wouldn't stay there again, unless I had to. However, the evening restaurant staff was efficient and friendly. 더 보기
