피바디 멤피스 (The Peabody Memphis) - 멤피스

I like the Peabody for its classic first class heritage.I like walking to Beale Street but I am disturbed by the need to have a hugh police presence because of the threat present. I beleive that without Elvis Presley's Graceland, Memphis is a fading star. I missed having The Duck Tour too.

We have stayed here many times throughout the years. We have never been disappointed. It is definitely one of the finest grand hotels of the south.

Bathrooms were disappointing, way to small. No counter space for personal items. Not able to apply makeup or do hair without having to put stuff in sink. No coffee pot in room, had to get dressed and go to lobby deli to get coffee. Very pleased otherwise.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favorite spot was the lobby bar...except when the duck parade was happening. Security people were constantly moving people away from others who had staked out a good spot ahead of time. Then, just as the ceremony began, dozens of people stepped in front of others as if they didn't exist! The only pictures […] I got of the duck walk was of people's butts! I feel that security could do a better job of cordoning off the area so that everyone has a good view and that the rude line-jumpers are kept at bay. The Peabody staff make every effort to ensure your comfort and convenience. Every inch of the hotel is clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and work hard for the customer. It was great!

This was our first stay in Memphis. The Peabody Hotel was very elegant and the ducks are just to cute!!!! The hotel staff were friendly and heipful for anything from check-in to advising tours and meals. The bar night specials were great, because the lobby bar and clubs are so expensive on their drinks. We also attended your first wine taste dinner […] which my husband amd I enjoyed. We plan to return again for a longer visit near festival time. Beautiful classic hotel with the charm and grace you come to expect from southern hospitality. The loby is incredible and the rooms while on the small side are beautiful, comfortable and clean. I've heard for years how wonderful the Peabody Hotel is, but was very disappointed. It is no nicer than any Marriott or Hilton I've stayed in. Additionally, the parking attendants did not speak English--when I asked where to go to Valet (the signage was confusing) he directed me on how to self-park and informed me how simple that was! After I got parked […] in the garage, I discovered it was a half mile hike with my luggage to the main lobby and that this required going OUTSIDE of the building. Once inside, the staff was incredibly courteous and the hotel is beautiful. But again, no more so than the majority of hotels I've stayed in. It definitely cannot compare to the Waldorf or the Ritz. The rooms are nice, however the plumbing leaves a lot to be desired. For what I was paying, the hotel could afford a renovation. If you are going to Memphis, I would recommend spending half the money and staying at one of the nearby, but for more reasonably hotels. 더 보기

The Duck Walk was a great sight. The day we saw it there were a group of 5 year olds there for a party. They were all lined along the red carpet waiting for the big moment when The Duck Master released the ducks for thier walk. He did a thorough explanation of its origin and then opened the gates and elevators. Thier little faces gleaming with excitement […] was a memory I always remember as well as insuring we will return with our own grand children. The measure of a great room for my wife and I are the bed and pillows. Both were outstanding. The lady at the front desk friendly and very welcoming as well as bellman. The rooms were fine and one of our two was oversized, which was nice. The cost is very high and it would be nice if guests had a place to view the ducks, etc. At the cost, the rubber ducks in the rooms should be a gift!!!

The rooms are not what I would expect in a hotel of this quality, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the lobby is fun and exciting. Of course the ducks marching makes everyone smile-even the adults. For the money, I would stay somewhere else and walk over to see the ducks next time. And it took over 30 minutes to get our car out of valet.

The Peabody is the hotel to stay when in Memphis. It's location is superb, very close to the attractions and restaurants, but far enough away to have space. The luxury is first class and the staff fantastc. Take the elevator to the top flor or a great view, and to see the ducks in their duck mansion. The Peabody was the highlight of Memphis for me! Great location! It was a gem of a hotel. The service and food were excellant! There was so much to see and do just at the Peabody! It carries on the tradition and eloquence of what most hotels lost. A MUST for anyone going to Memphis!!

Don't miss the ducks! Take the upgrade and get the fabulous service of the 12th floor. Wine, amazing pastries, etc. Take a carriage ride, eat Bar B Que, enjoy the Blues on Beale street. Quite a fun town with real character and personality all within walking distance of this beautiful hotel.

This hotel was awesome. The front desk had cards with maps to give step by step directions and a map. It was also in downtown so you could walk places. Very nice place. Also we got lucky and paid a nightly fee that was fairly cheap to upgrade to a larger room with a king bed on the corner, so we had lots of windows.

the staff was friendly , room was very very small and confining; lobby bar was not very well stocked; enjoyed the ducks!

Lovely hotel in great location. Really enjoyed sitting in the lobby and listening to the pianist and of course watching the ducks!

Room was not clean no amenties for the money extra expenses that you dont use door falling apart bathroom is like a match box could hear everyting going on in both rooms on both sides no one came to fix anything have to pay 18.0 to park on your own or 26.00 to valet park and plus tip everyone aound you no refridgerator or coffee maker in room just a […] big big waste of money 더 보기

Had a great stay at the top-notch Peabody hotel-the gem of memphis. A bit pricey but great location for all activities in the Memphis area. The duck thing is a bit over-rated but it was fun to see them parade into the lobby. I really liked everything about the hotel until I made it to my room. It was VERY small!!!! And to think I got an upgrade when I checked in. I clearly paid for the Peabody name because the rooms were extremely small. I would not stay there again.

This hotel was a treat to my Mrs and we were both very disappointed. It's expensive which wasn't the problem. The receptionist had an attitude problem and had to be reminded that she only answers the phone and books guests in, but once this was established we were given our room key and made our way to a shoe box of a room. The Peabody lives up to it's name but the surrounding area does not. Beale street is a sad small version of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The ducks are amazing as usual. Although the way they choose the honorary duck master is questionable. Seems as if you must stay in the presidential suite to even be considered. Great location within a 3-5 minute walk of most key sites. A quick 5 minute drive to Sun Studios and a main pick up point for Graceland Tours. Don't forget Civil Rights Museum at Lorraine Hotel a truly humbling experience for anyone who remembers the '60's. Rooms were small but we expected that with the age of the hotel. Our bathroom was not as clean as I would have like for it to have been.

While the hotel itself is very beautiful and definately worth seeing....I wouldn't stay there again. The rooms were the smallest I have ever stayed in and we paid A LOT to stay there. You couldn't even fit in our bathroom with your toiletry bag! Also, there is no outdoor pool and the rooms were dusty and old. There are several new, beautiful hotels […] all right there and within walking distance of Beale Street.....my recommendation would be to VISIT The Peabody but stay somewhere else. 더 보기

Stayed at the peabody, went to the front desk to make the wakeup call and get my boarding pass. the next day the boarding pass that was suppose to be under my door never made it, but that did not matter because without the wakeup call i missed my flight. Great job!

Nice hotel in downtown, but a bit pricey for what you get. Great lobby, great hotel bar, good shops and restaurants inside the hotel. Great location to walk to Beale street or the Mississippi river. The room was only average, it was clean, but the bed was small and the windows were wet inside the double glass, so we could not see outside the window. Hotel […] has a business center with PC, but you have to pay to use it (???). Overall I would say this is a nice hotel, but on the expensive side for what you get. Next time I would probably try to stay in the Mariott or Westin if I can get it cheaper. 더 보기

We stayed in a "standard" room and were disappoiinted. The bathroom was so small you had to squeeze around the door to get in. The room was really no better than some of the days inns we had stayed at recently. Everything was clean and in good shape but for the price this is not a great place to stay. Probably better off at the Holiday inn express across […] the street. Just not what peabody was built up to be in our mind. Just visit the lobby and stay somewhere else for less money.. This hotel is gorgeous and the service is superb! The room was a bit small for the nightly rate, but I guess it is to be expected in a hotel that is 86 years old! What it lacked in room size it made up for in ammenities. The pool was awesome and my husband enjoyed the gym. I was also surprised at how kid-friendly it was.
