The shower heads hit my shoulders and I am 5'8". We were not able to enter our room because the lock needed to be replaced or repaired so we spent a lot of time waiting for someone to force the door open. We were told the door would be fixed but it never happened and then the offered us a room but never followed up. Also, I took the shuttle to a spa […] and when I called for return shuttle the employee had been sent home at 11 AM. So I had to call a cab to get back to the hotel because my husband went golfing and took our car. 더 보기

Met all my expectations

Was at the hotel for a weekend event and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The rooms were very spacious with a touch of luxury. The only drawbacks were that you needed a car to go anywhere, and they did not have a shuttle for the airport, which is about 30 minutes away. The hotel itself is a bit run down and in need of a remodel, but you can't beat the views having meals out by the lake. A great value!

Overall, it was excellent. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Our "villa" appeared to have been designed by the Golden Girls and has not been updated since the show stopped running. The pictures displayed of the rooms are for a few rooms (maybe, not sure since I never saw such a room) in the main hotel. Our King Bed room was overbooked so we were "upgraded" to a "villa." Needless to say it was a huge disappointment. […] I will never go back. There is a Holiday Inn Express just up the road that is much nicer and cheaper. 더 보기

We enjoyed our two nights at the Millenium. Very conveniently located in Scottsdale, and not a bad commute into Phoenix for meetings. Local courses were well groomed and playable, if a bit flat for our tastes. Would definitely choose the Millenium again.

Room was a little dated, but place had a lot of charm and the service from the staff was outstanding.

The hotel was OK, although it is somewhat out-dated. It could really use a fresh coat of paint and some new carpet.

Overall it was just ok..the toilet leaked so if you were in the bathroom you were standing in toilet water..and it ran and actually woke me up in the middle of the night...also the marble on the sink front was cracked and the view from our balcony was of the roof..pillows were comfy though.

We stayed there one night. Overall, it was a good experience. Breakfast from room service was excellent.

My daughter& I had a brief getaway. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the lake & pool! Eating breakfast looking at the lake was so peaceful!

Nice staff, overworked. Not enough employees To help customers in a timely manner. Rooms very dingy, but linens very clean, Tub very dingy and didn't hardly drain, but was Clean. Employees trying hard, uphill battle with Such a lack of staff for this size facility.

Hotel was very nice and there is some boating on a lake, but we checked out to early to enjoy. Pool was beautiful but very cold. Location close to Old Town Scotsdale.

Overall, this place was great. The bar was wonderful and very comfy and the Pinon grill had outdoor seating to bask in the morning sun while having breakfast.

Very nice!! Would stay again. Very close to Talking Stick Resort where I celebrate New Year's Eve every year. I recommend.

hotel is ok bathrooms suck, food is no good. but location is good and view. and price

we stayed there for new years. sink wouldn't drain. shower plugged. dirty hotel. housekeepers woke us up at 8 knocking on the door to clean it. very terrible experience would never stay there again. big disappointment with hotels.com for the star rating.

I was expecting a little more from this hotel for what I paid but overall it was nice. The hotel could use an upgrade in decor and the bathroom/shower was poor to say the least. Be sure to get a view of the lake/golf course or this will be a waste.

The plumbing was a bit odd, the hot water would cut off. The overall service and quality was excellent otherwise.

Very nice hotel with great rates during off season. Nice sports bar and restaurants nearby. Our shower head was stopped up and low pressure, but was a great stay.

I would definatly stay at the property again. Location excellent, staff at the front desk was friendly and fast check in. The sleeping rooms just need a little update. Otherwise everything was great.

Hotel was excellent in every way EXCEPT the staff warned us that they hosted weekend pool parties for college kids with a live DJ all day Saturday and Sunday. Normally that wouldn't of bothered us. However, music was extremely loud (could of turned it down by half the volume and everyone could still be in a party mood). Also it appeared that there was […] a photo shoot of local bikini ladies. Again, that wouldn't be a problem except the hotel also had children running around and these bikini ladies may have been the same ladies that are seen in the evenings at the local caberet shows doing the pole dancing. Either make the hotel "kid friendly and family friendly" or clearly state that it's a ADULT ONLY event on weekends. We had the option (and took it) to leave on Saturday and Sunday , however I truly felt sorry for the families with the small chelired that had to either keep the kids away from the pool and expose them to some pretty risque activities. 더 보기

First of all when checking in they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. ugh.. Then when pulling the blinds I noticed the top of the blinds were extreamly dirty...covered in heavy dust. The next morning when getting up for my 6:00 AM meeting there were no coffee cups or hand towels. They must have forgot!!

The hotel had these pool parties with hired bikini dancers that was sleazy. The music was blasting extremely loud for six hours each day. Then the last day we were there they tried to charge us $10 each to get into the pool. We refused to pay and after going back and forth they finally let us use the pool without paying. Even after that I was okay with […] our stay. The kicker is when they charged $50 to our room after we left the hotel. We used nothing so there should have been no charge. We were advised of no charge before we left. I called and left them a message and they have not returned my calls. We are currently disputing the charges. We will never stay there again. 더 보기

Pool was closed from 10:00 a.m to 6:00p.m for private party.

Traveling on business several times a year to Phoenix - I stay at many hotels. This one has become my favorite, especially when they offer the room/food specials in the off season.

We stayed in the Villas, lots of room. Slightly dated interiors but well maintained.

You get what you pay for, if you are looking for a nice resort DO NOT GO HERE!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and it was very spacious. It is more of a long-term stay type of place. It has a kitchen with utensils, full size fridge and full cutlery and tableware. The decor is dated and makes me think it was built in the late 80's or early 90's. A few maintenance issues like one blown bulb in the bathroom and a stain on the floor […] in the living room were drawbacks but didn't ruin our stay. We selected the villa because we have three children and hotel rooms are always too small and claustrophobic. Compared to renting two suites this was more attractive. The paddle boats on the lake and the fact that we used the huge pool twice without anyone else present added to our enjoyment. Nice stay-cation place for a very good price in the summer. 더 보기

Awesome room, view. Beautiful pool, grounds, and the Diamondback bar was a perfect place to start my birthday celebration. Would reccommend to everyone!

I was with a group that stayed at the Millenium Resort for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. We were VERY unsatisfied with the "resort", which was more like a glorified Holiday Inn. The rooms seriously need a face lift... the carpets were filthy... when you walked on them barefoot the bottoms are your feet got dirty. The vanity in the bathroom […] was old and falling apart. The Shower was was very old, showing cracks, there were mold spots on the ceiling and the tub wouldn't drain completely when you took a shower. Also the rooms were very muggy and warm... the A/C was falling off the wall. Aside from the horrible accommodations the resort also hosted a 21 and over Pool Party... which no one told us about when we checked in. We were asked to move from the area we were sitting in because it was a "private party" and we had to purchase specific seating. THIS WAS OUTRAGEOUS! We paid to stay at this hotel and they were telling us WE had to move! I felt aweful for the families that had kids who had to leave the pool area all together! To make a long story short... A king bed had been requested but when we got there, there were none available. When we asked the front desk, they were rude about it. Also, during the weekend, the had pool parties open to the public, so chance of us using the pool was very limited unless we wanted to share it with tons of young adults all drinking and dancing, etc. These things should […] be told to those booking the resort before hand. Very nice room with a balcony and beautiful view. The room was nice and clean--no microwave but having a fridge in the room was good for those of us who have special dietary needs. It was nice to be able to use the paddleboats and canoes on the little lake--very relaxing. I would say the only thing that bothered me was the resort was having a big pool […] party (which was alot of fun by they way!) and charged even those of us who were staying there $10 per person to get in the pool area. On top of that some of the guests at the pool were not charged and some of us were. I just feel that is in bad taste to (1) not apply the same rules across the board to all guests, (2) require a resort fee for use of the pool then tell us we cannot use it unless we pay an additional amount because of the event (which we were not aware of when the room was booked).
