I was NOT convinced that this was a 4.5 star hotel. At least not by North American standards. I paid too much money for what it was actually worth. Apart from the location (which is super close to the centre, but surrounded by strange abandoned buildings), the hotel staff were super nice, the room-service food was AMAZING, the room itself sort of sucked. […] Our window was broken (it didn't tilt), and the shower head handle was broken (the showerhead would flop around and make a wet mess on the floor), the whole room was a heinous beige colour. The view from the 20th floor overlooking downtown was great. But it just wasn't 4.5 stars. I've stayed in 4star hotels that have been way nicer. The rooms were just a little worn and shabby. The TV was small, and the BED. or should I say BEDS. I ordered a room for 2ppl (a double room), which in NA would mean a queen or king size bed...but not here apparently. Superb location if you want to walk evrywhere. Disappointed at having to pay for internet access - and it was expensive When checking in I was offered a very poor map of Leipzig and minimal help However the next day a different person on Reception provided an excellent map and gave helpful instructions The cleaners were great!

Hotel is great, location is wonderful Loved Leipzig. Only wish breakfast was included in hotel cost.

The hotel was very pleasant, very plush looking with an extremely welcoming feeling. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We took the option to upgrade our room to the 24th floor and found the novel glass shower a lot of fun. The room was very clean with all the modern facilities you would expect to find in a 4-5 star hotel. The hotel food is […] expensive but very nice. We eat in the Japanese YAMATO restaurant, what a fantastic meal! Great atmosphere with a personal touch if you want to impress someone this is a real special treat. Amazing sushi! Our only disappointment was not having enough time to experience the Spa and rooftop restaurant. Maybe next time. To improve a nearly perfect hotel would be for them to include tea and coffee in the rooms. 더 보기

Et godt og central placeret 4-stjernet hotel med gode resturanter og barer, samt et høfligt og service-minded personale, bliver gjort til skamme af det faktum at man kun har trådløst internet i lobbyen og ikke på værelserne hvor der kun er kabel-internet. Dette er måske en lille ting, men må simpelthen ikke ske på et 4-stjernet hotel i et land som Tyskland […] i 2012. 더 보기

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Tolles Hotel: Perfekte Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof/Zoo/Altstadt, Super Aussicht in der Bar im 27. Stock, schöne Zimmer mit allem Komfort.

Schade nur - aber wohl normal - , dass man erst nach 15 Uhr in das Zimmer konnte - sonst war alles ok

Diese Hotel ist nur wenige Minuten vom Zoo inklusive Gondwanaland entfernt und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu fuss zu erkunden. Hotel sehr schön, Personal total nett. Wir würden nochmals gehen.

Everything was good, as last year. We even got late cleaning, after 3 in the afternoon, without asking! Also nice view over Leipzig from the upper floors.
