월도프 아스토리아 (The Waldorf Astoria) - 뉴욕

-야간 준비 바로 전에 단수 - 이에 대한 보상으로 추후 무료 숙박 제공 - 몇몇 층에서 통풍기 근처에 있어 시끄러운 방들(다음에는 짐을 풀기 전에 옮겨달라고 해야 겠다.) -방은 얼룩 하나 없고, 매우 예쁘며, 침대는 정말 편안했다. - 음식도 훌륭했다.

방은 충분히 소음차단 되지 않았다. 이런 수준의 호텔에서는 있을 수 없는 불편함이었다.

우아함, 유능함, 유서깊은 전통의 뛰어난 서비스, -- Waldorf Astoria에서는 사라지는 것이 없습니다. Manhattan의 특별한 접대 스타일이 세심하게 관리되고 있는 몇 안되는 역사적 시설 중 하나입니다. 이번 방문에서 유일한 흠은 방에 있는 에어컨의 오동작이었습니다. 호텔측은 우리를 즉시 다른, 더 좋은 방으로 옮겨 주었습니다. Waldorf Astoria에서는 바로 이런 것을 기대할 수 있습니다.

호텔은 클래식입니다. 방이 너무 좋습니다. 우리는 엘리베이터에 가까워서 소리가 좀 들렸습니다. 30년대 지어진 건물 치고는 모든 것이 정말 깨끗하고 좋은 상태입니다. 건축 디테일이 훌륭합니다. 유일한 단점은, 할 일이 많은 동네에 있는 것이 아니라서 끊임없이 식당, Central Park, 시내, west 등으로 여행을 해야 했다는 것입니다.

SOHO에 살았던 적이 있다. NYC를 사랑한다. 5월 21일 ~ 24일까지 2명의 10대 아들들을 데리고 갔다. 최고급의 “감동을 주는” 숙소를 잡았다고 생각했다. 리노베이션 비계에 가린 입구(배너 플래그도 없나!) 바깥쪽은 정말 외관이 좋지 않았다. 안쪽의 로비는 우아했지만 우리가 만나려고 하는 사람들을 거의 알아볼 수 없었다. 너무 어두웠다! 호텔 방은 끔찍한 냄새가 났다(페브리즈도 안 쓰나?). 10시간 동안 비행기를 탔는데 따뜻한 물도 없었다. 저녁 11시에 스위트와 룸을 낮은 등급의 더블 룸으로 바꾸었다. 두 침실 모두 좁았다. 테이블 표면은 더러웠고, 액체와 유리 마크가 있었다. 가구들은 우아했고, 침대는 좋았지만 […] 벽지가 세월, 냄새, 곰팡이로 변색됐다. 변기나 화장실 통풍 시스템은 작동하지 않았다. (이런!) 와이 파이 비용을 지불해야 했는데 싸구려 같았다. 돈을 더 많이 주고 Plaza를 예약했어야 했다는 생각이 계속 들었다. 훌륭한 컨시어지와 매니저가 요금을 좀 줄여주었다. 하지만, 슬프게도, 돈이 있는 사람에게는 리노베이션이 끝나고, 깨끗해지고, 냄새가 안 날 때까지 추천하지 않을 것이다. 더 보기

도착하자 마자 빨리 체크인을 했습니다. 방은 정말 표준적인 방입니다. 그러나 에어컨이 동작하지 않았습니다. 방은 80도였습니다. TV도 동작하지 않았고, 인터넷 접속도 되지 않았습니다. TV를 빨리 고쳐 주었고, 에어컨은 한 시간 걸렸지만, 인터넷은 결국 고치지 못했습니다. 숙박하면서 처음 한 시간 동안 방에 수리공이 있었습니다. 큰 로비를 원한다면 Waldorf에서 숙박하세요. 큰 방을 원한다면 다른 곳을 찾으세요, Waldork Astoria에서 숙박하기 위해서 하룻밤에 100달러를 추가로 부담할 가치가 없습니다.

이런 역사적인 호텔에서 숙박할 수 있어서 정말 흥분되면서도 방의 장식에는 약간 실망했다. 나는 전통적인 것을 기대했는데, 이건 "Nana's House"같은 분위기다. 우리 방은 정말 오래됐고, 수리가 필요했다.

Waldorf Astoria의 직원들은 정말 최고 수준이었다. 데스크 직원들부터 컨시어지, 바 직원들, 하우스키핑 직원들까지. 지금껏 어디서도 이렇게 편안하고 즐거운 숙박을 해 본 적이 없다. 난 16층에 있었는데 차 소리를 전혀 듣지 못했다. 유일한 불만은 방에서 무료 무선 인터넷이 안 되었다는 것이다. 로비까지 가야했다. 이틀 동안의 객실료도 지불했는데, 내 생각에 꽤 많을 것으로 보이는 금액의 서비스 요금을 지불하지 않으면 무선 인터넷을 사용할 수 없다는 것에 반대한다. 하지만 여기는 New York이다. 다음에 거기 갈 때는 Waldorf가 어떤 서비스를 제공하는지 꼭 확인할 것이다.서비스와 편안함에 별 다섯 개 […] ! 더 보기

저는 온 세계를 다 여행하고, 다른 호텔들에서 숙박해 봤습니다. 하지만 이 호텔의 매력은 정말 대단하다고 할 수 밖에 없을 것 같습니다. 우리는 Towers으로 업그레이드했습니다. "와우". 다음 날은 어머니날이었습니다.. 남편과 딸은 산책을 갔습니다. 아들과 저는 호텔과 호텔의 역사를 탐색했습니다. 저는 아직도 이 호텔 때문에 흥분됩니다. "곧" 다시 가고 싶습니다.

방은 아름다웠다. 하지만 엘리베이터 축 옆에 있어서 엘리베이터가 올라가고 내려가는 소리가 거의 항상 들렸다. 여전히 전반적으로는 긍정적 경험이었다. 다만 인터넷으로 예약한 사람들에게는 가장 인기 없는 위치에 있는 방을 줬는지 궁금하다.

I was there for my 25th anniversary. It was amazing! Checking in and out was quick. The hotel has a lot of character and history. The staff was very helpful and courteous, my wife felt like a new bride. We are very satisfied with our stay. Room was clean but decor dated. Lobby is beautiful. Staff is very helpful. Only downside for us-Hotel is not particularly stroller/wheelchair friendly. You can only go through one entrance, which is a tight & busy driveway in order to get in to an elevator bay that takes you to the lobby level. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waldorf. Very clean, just a long walk as our room was the last one at the end of the hall. Other than that a most enjoyable stay!

Room was spacious with 2 double beds, the bathroom was not claustrophobic like other hotel baths. Very quite too!

There were very long lines in the lobby with people trying to check-in/out throughout our stay. We waited 30 minutes. As a special treat we ordered room service for breakfast and the wrong order arrived. We waited 45 more minutes for the correct order the after they left, went to pour a cup of coffee and found a pot full of water instead of coffee. […] Called for coffee and it never got delivered. We gave up after an hour and went downstairs to Starbucks. Nice historic hotel but the service was not up to expectations. 더 보기

Spacious rooms, old world elegance and charm. Services and meals a bit pricey.

This was a fantastic hotel and a great deal in a perfect location. I was hosting friends who had never visited New York and wanted to see all of the marquis things (Times Square, Central Park, Statue of Liberty). It was easy to get to all these places and more. The hotel is awe-inspiring and even had a Starbucks on the first floor. The rooms were larger […] than expected and very comfortable. I liked every thing about the hotel. It was a beautiful place. The only thing that I felt was that I had an older room because my rate was so good. It was on a lower floor over looking the roof with the mechanical system and the chair in the room had marks on the side of it from where cleaner must of spilled. It looked like bleach took the color away […] where the liquid had spread. Having worked at the front desk at a hotel before myself, I believe that is what happened. 더 보기

OVerall - great! Once we got settled... we had booked a room to include a rollaway bed. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk gave us a room "that will fit a rollaway". Upon entering the room, it was obvious that it would not. Management took care of us and moved us to another room (while we were out sightseeing). problem with a/c unit keeping room cool

My stay was amaizing.it was a dream come true. Next time I will definately take the hotel tour.

The name is just that the name. I have stayed at far better old hotels like this in Pittsburgh, Dallas or Los Angeles for the same price or cheaper.

Iconic Hotel, great location and great service. To be really picky, the bathroom paint work was a little flakey in 1 corner, and I agree with a previous comment about the air con units being a little noisy. The gym was extra, so didn't use that but they are the only slight negatives I could say about the hotel. We only stayed here for one night but it was a lovely hotel with a lot of interesting history behind it. Other good points: the room was fairly spacious for NYC, good location, easy check out, luxurious toiletries. Bad points: decor is a little dated, the check in area was very busy, our remote control didn't work properly.

Our room was super hot. There was no way to control the temperature. When we complained, they gave us a fan, but that didn't make much of a difference. The Waldorf Astoria is overrated. The downstairs lobby is very nice, but our room was small and sparsely furnished.

Right in the middle of things. A few years behind her but still going strong. Amazing beds.

Well all I can say is that the Waldorf is always amazing. Love it. The level of service is so far above anyone elses service.

Not impressed. For the money they ask for per night, it is totally not worth it. It is a nice and luxurious hotel but the money it cost, it is not worth it. I would consider $230 a night a lot more resonable.

Perfect experience from the minute I walked up to the front door. Although the hotel could use a good refurbishment, I will be staying here as my first choice on future visits to the city as the service couldn't be better. If you want to experience a bit of the glamour and elegance of many of the hotel's famous guests, you will LOVE this place.

Lovely atmosphere and great servic!!! However the do need to udate te shops and restaurants to a more moderna supply: I want more modern inspiration at breakfastroom and shops! Let Stabucks have better peninghours!

The Waldorf Astoria provides remarkable comfort and service. The location s excellent and the room spacious and well appointed. Te only niggle is that wireless csts when as a guest you are already paying top dollar. However te wirelessr in the lobby (free) was very efficient.
