허니문이라고 해서,,프레지던트로 업그레이드 시켜주셨고,,다들 친절해서,,서비스가 참 좋았어요~^^ 그 전에 묵엇던 숙소에서 체크아웃 시각이 12시여서..체크인 시각까지 애매해서 걱정했는데..바로 체크인할 수 있엇구요. 19층이어서 뷰도 참 좋았어요. 청소상태도 좋았습니다~강추해요~!!

우아함, 유능함, 유서깊은 전통의 뛰어난 서비스, -- Waldorf Astoria에서는 사라지는 것이 없습니다. Manhattan의 특별한 접대 스타일이 세심하게 관리되고 있는 몇 안되는 역사적 시설 중 하나입니다. 이번 방문에서 유일한 흠은 방에 있는 에어컨의 오동작이었습니다. 호텔측은 우리를 즉시 다른, 더 좋은 방으로 옮겨 주었습니다. Waldorf Astoria에서는 바로 이런 것을 기대할 수 있습니다.

호텔은 클래식입니다. 방이 너무 좋습니다. 우리는 엘리베이터에 가까워서 소리가 좀 들렸습니다. 30년대 지어진 건물 치고는 모든 것이 정말 깨끗하고 좋은 상태입니다. 건축 디테일이 훌륭합니다. 유일한 단점은, 할 일이 많은 동네에 있는 것이 아니라서 끊임없이 식당, Central Park, 시내, west 등으로 여행을 해야 했다는 것입니다.

SOHO에 살았던 적이 있다. NYC를 사랑한다. 5월 21일 ~ 24일까지 2명의 10대 아들들을 데리고 갔다. 최고급의 “감동을 주는” 숙소를 잡았다고 생각했다. 리노베이션 비계에 가린 입구(배너 플래그도 없나!) 바깥쪽은 정말 외관이 좋지 않았다. 안쪽의 로비는 우아했지만 우리가 만나려고 하는 사람들을 거의 알아볼 수 없었다. 너무 어두웠다! 호텔 방은 끔찍한 냄새가 났다(페브리즈도 안 쓰나?). 10시간 동안 비행기를 탔는데 따뜻한 물도 없었다. 저녁 11시에 스위트와 룸을 낮은 등급의 더블 룸으로 바꾸었다. 두 침실 모두 좁았다. 테이블 표면은 더러웠고, 액체와 유리 마크가 있었다. 가구들은 우아했고, 침대는 좋았지만 […] 벽지가 세월, 냄새, 곰팡이로 변색됐다. 변기나 화장실 통풍 시스템은 작동하지 않았다. 도착하자 마자 빨리 체크인을 했습니다. 방은 정말 표준적인 방입니다. 그러나 에어컨이 동작하지 않았습니다. 방은 80도였습니다. TV도 동작하지 않았고, 인터넷 접속도 되지 않았습니다. TV를 빨리 고쳐 주었고, 에어컨은 한 시간 걸렸지만, 인터넷은 결국 고치지 못했습니다. 숙박하면서 처음 한 시간 동안 방에 수리공이 있었습니다. 큰 로비를 원한다면 Waldorf에서 숙박하세요. 큰 방을 원한다면 다른 곳을 찾으세요, Waldork Astoria에서 숙박하기 위해서 하룻밤에 100달러를 추가로 부담할 가치가 없습니다.

이런 역사적인 호텔에서 숙박할 수 있어서 정말 흥분되면서도 방의 장식에는 약간 실망했다. 나는 전통적인 것을 기대했는데, 이건 "Nana's House"같은 분위기다. 우리 방은 정말 오래됐고, 수리가 필요했다.

저는 온 세계를 다 여행하고, 다른 호텔들에서 숙박해 봤습니다. 하지만 이 호텔의 매력은 정말 대단하다고 할 수 밖에 없을 것 같습니다. 우리는 Towers으로 업그레이드했습니다. "와우". 다음 날은 어머니날이었습니다.. 남편과 딸은 산책을 갔습니다. 아들과 저는 호텔과 호텔의 역사를 탐색했습니다. 저는 아직도 이 호텔 때문에 흥분됩니다. "곧" 다시 가고 싶습니다.

방은 아름다웠다. 하지만 엘리베이터 축 옆에 있어서 엘리베이터가 올라가고 내려가는 소리가 거의 항상 들렸다. 여전히 전반적으로는 긍정적 경험이었다. 다만 인터넷으로 예약한 사람들에게는 가장 인기 없는 위치에 있는 방을 줬는지 궁금하다.

Even in their starting base rooms the waldorfastoria's elegance shines. With the beauty of this historical building and the more then helpful staff, I will be choosing no less then waldorfastoria's for the rest of my life! In a word. Tired! Public areas fantastic but rooms in desperate need up refreshing. Check in process far too long and this is my second visit and the room was not ready till after 4pm. A spacious room in a quality establishment, in need of refurbishment. Noticeably absent from earlier stays was the afternoon tea service now missing from the lobby. The Internet charges were high compared to the free or nominal charges incurred at other hotels.

You read about the Waldorf in books, but I had always figured it was out of our price range. Booking thru an online site we found a reasonable price. I was still concerned after reading reviews, that maybe it was a mistake. It was beautiful! Grand, elegant & altogether lovely. My mom & I were impressed and my daughter was mesmerized. Be polite at check in, explain your concerns, and you'll probably get an upgrade. We had reserved a dbl luxury room (two dbl beds). Upon check in I mentioned that it was our 1st trip & we really hoping for a high floor (for the city views) & a renovated room. We got a complimentary upgrade to a king suite. It was amazing!! Everything I'd read told travelers to be prepared for the tiny rooms, so we were. But we walked into a 2 room, 2 bathrm, 2 walk-in closet, CORNER suite! It was huge, by anyone's standards. No, it wasn't newly decorated but it didn't matter. Very classy! Even though we were on the 21st floor, our view was marred by scaffolding right under our windows, so asking for a high floor doesn't necessarily get you a fantastic view. Still, it was fine. The beds - even the pull out couch - were so comfortable. Room temp was easy to moderate. Staff was superb. Location was excellent. (Note: be prepared to eat elsewhere. The Hotel itself was great. I had a problem when checking In. They could not locate my gold card. The person that checked me in was not very accomodating and rude. My only major issue was I did not have a closet in which to hang my clothing. Overall the experience in all other areas was great.

Make sure you ask not to be placed in the smoking Floor. They gave us a room in the 17th floor and the smell of smoke was unbearable. Make sure you ask for a non smoking room as they have an entire floor just for smokers. They moved us to a different room the following night but the first night was a nightmare.

Only issue was old carpeting gave me allergy issues in the room but rest was fantastic. Older crowd (45-70) in the bars but cant beat the location and old NY flavor

Hotel really needs maintenance my room tub was pealing ugh,rugs smelly furniture not closing well or hard to open or close,hall reminded me of the hotel in the movie The Shining. Really scary do not take children there. But hotel staff was very nice. But will not stay there again,or recommended. The. ChAtwall hotel was so much better .

Noisy, cramped, dirty, expensive. Stayed in another hotel for the first 3 nights, and never should have switched to the waldorf astoria. Such a huge waste of money. I can't believe how loud this hotel was. Nothing in the room worked, and the walls seemed about to come crashing down.

I was very disappointed in the stay here. The hotel is completely run down and the prices for what they offer you are absurd. We had to switch rooms 3 times!! We wanted a Park Avenue view and we got that, but there was no hot water in our room. When we called the complain, they told us to wait 20 minutes for the plumber and it was 11PM. It is not my […] home, I shouldn't have to sit with no hot water waiting for the plumber. Then after 10 minutes they switched us to a different room. The room was smaller with scaffolding cover our window. We complained about that then finally we got switched at around 11:45PM. It was a horrible experience for a hotel with such a reputation, well they did not uphold that at all. I thought the rate from hotel.com was decent. However, both my daughter and I have feather allergies. We called well in advanced to be sure the room was feather free. In addition, I am a Hilton Honors guest and my profile states that I require a feather free room. We drove 4 hours to NYC, and had to wait 1/2 hour after checking in because our "room […] was not feather free ready." Disappointing. We were tired and had to get ready for a Metropolitan Opera performance and dinner before--so we were rushed. I loved my stay! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The hotels history had me in awe! I loved just walking around looking at the pictures on the walls, and the lobby was nothing short of magnificent! Everyone must stay here at least once!!!!
