I frequently stay at hotels at least twice a month and I have to overall rate the Allentown city center holiday inn very accommodating especially for a downtown hotel environment. The staff was very professional and took care of any problems we encountered. They offered an indoor pool and exercise facility which was very maintained and we also enjoyed […] the dinner at Made in Brazil all the items were delicious and accommodating to all types of eaters. We visited this hotel on New Year's Eve; the location was great for walking to various restaurants and bars, and parking was very convenient.

Considering this hotel is right in the center of Allentown's busiest area, you might not expect to feel nervous about the neighborhood. During daylight hours, that's entirely true. But when darkness falls, the Holiday Inn even closes one of its entrances, and the surrounding streets are dark, deserted, and a bit creepy. Inside, everything is as it should […] be--decent service, clean rooms, comfy bedding, even free wi-fi. One last criticism--breakfast is not included. Oh, come on. Seriously? 더 보기

No central heating. Heat controls not accurate. Heat kept going on & off all night long. Fan made alot of noise. Had to pay $6 to park. Breakfast at the hotel was extremely expensive. Hotel not in a nice part of town.

Very nice hotel and staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Would stay again the next time I am in Allentown.

This hotel is a well managed hotel. The staff is friendly and gracious. There are several restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel offers shuttle service, which is most welcome when a car is not available. I definitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Last minute trip over night to Allentown poped up and we needed an affordable place to stay. For the price in the area, this is a great stay. Pool, food, drinks, nice big comfy beds. Its not glamourous, but it was a great stay!

Hotel is located in a ruff part if city. Paid extra for breakfast with reservation and still had to pay $25 extra for breakfast. No one said or mentioned until check out that you have to pay for your parking at parking garage!!! Room only had two towels for 4 people and was a pain to get more! No impressed with all the hidden fees will not stay there […] again! 더 보기

Booked double room ahead of time, checked in after 4pm - bathroom was not fully stocked - housekeeping walked in on us, no knock, to deliver kleenex. Needed to launder softball uniforms overnight - washer/dryers not available. Room well air conditioned, hallways and restaurant extremely hot. No coffee carafe - didn't notice till morning. My 2 night stay was HORRIBLE and I ended up leaving in the middle of the night before the end of the second day. It started with the room keys not working. That was quickly resolved. Then I called for some extra towels and they told me to come down to the ffront desk to get them. ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!! The following morning, I called the front desk to […] find out what time breakfast was over (since I purchased the additional breakfast package) and they informed me it ended at 9:30am (the exact time I was calling). 30 seconds later, I received a call from the front desk asking me my name, room # and check out date. I found that strange so I went down to the front desk and they informed me they did not have anyone registered to my room so they had to fix their system (strange cause the room key worked after I got it fixed). I left for 9 hours and came back to me room at 7:30pm to find the room was not cleaned at all. This was the last straw and went down to the front desk to complain. I spoke with the front desk supervisor and she tried really hard to accomodate me but it wasn't enough for me to stay a minute long so I checked out at 8:30pm and drove back home. Air conditioning was not working in the room. Two men came to "fix" it. Problem was never fixed. Called to lobby, after 50 rings front desk picked up the phone. Told me they would switch my room and have someone come up to help with my bags. No one ever came to help. After about 30 minutes, I went to lobby to be told that the man who helps out had to […] go do an errand! No one ever called my room to let me know this! Very poor customer service. Allentown is a charming town. Loved all the architecture and culture downtown. The hotel is located on the corner of busy streets. Parking is difficult. We had a dog so had to stay on the 4th floor. We ordered room service and the meal was mediocre. I would not recommend room service for the price. Our television didn't work, and they brought an old […] one in to replace it. Over half of the channels were very grainy and could not be watched. It was fun to see Allentown, but I would choose a different pet friendly hotel next time. 더 보기

Location was good but surrounding neighborhood was a little suspect. Noisiest AC ever made it hard to get to sleep. Room smelled a bit of mildew. Pool was dirty. Only stayed one night and wouldnt go back

The elevators ares supposedly being replaced but in the meantime don't seem to respond to call buttons for the higher floors. Their laundry facilities have been stopped. Used to be a great place when it was a Hilton Garden Inn; not so much anymore,

Old hotel, poorly renovated. Front desk clerk very unhelpful finding nearby restaurants. On site restaurant was very poor.

This hotel is nice for price. the location is in the center of most things to do in allentown/bethlehem area. I would stay again. The staff folks were very nice and accomodating at all times.

Stayed for Parketts Gymnastics Meet...excellent choice. Close to gym, nice hotel...will stay again next yr!

It was clean enough but a bit on the shabby side and outdated decor. The bed was soft and uncomfortable as well.

We had a wonderful stay, the hotel was close to the cafe where we attended a concert and the hotel staff were friendly. It was a great experience and I would stay here again whenever in Allentown

a A home away from home.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE The service was horrible. They put me in a smoking room which smelled like it was not cleaned in over a year. Then they tell me that no other room is available and that they do not return money or give discounts. I am traveling with an asmatic wife and son. They told me that if i was not happy that i could leave or call hotels .com. […] This was at 10pm in the evening. they refused to help me in any way. 더 보기

Hotel is OK - nothing special, nothing bad. But downtown Allentown is absolutely dead. We arrived on Saturday evening, and downtown was dead - what few restaurants are still in business were empty (or closed), almost all stores were closed, etc.

We ate in the restaurant, but the meal was average...the menu was lack lustre...I would stay at the hotel, but find a better place to eat. Most of the service staff was very good. Place was very clean.

Very convenient to all downtown Allentown destinations. Very clean, comfortable. A little pricey, but otherwise good.

Då är detta ett bra och prisvärt "riktigt" hotell till priset av ett bättre motel. Jag saknade kylskåp på rummet. Enligt spec så skulle det funnits. Parkering var gratis trots att det enligt spec skulle kosta pengar. Varför man ska bo i Allentown kan jag dock inte svara på. Gatan utanför hotellet kändes öde trots att det var downtown. Man ville inte […] gärna röra sig där på kvällen. Vi var bara där som en hållplats under en längre roadtrip på väg till NYC. 더 보기

Hotellet ligger mitt i city, nära till Bus Terminal, jag hade ingen bil. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Rummet helt OK. Det jag irriterade mig på att det finns ett enda datarum till 9 vån, vet inte hur många rum -och detta kunde vara upptaget av barn som spelade.
