QUALITY INN AND SUITES - 드 모인

We arrived late and still received a room exactly as we had asked for. It was as clean as any we have stayed in. Breakfast area was well maintained and food was good.

Overall- not impressed. The complimentary breakfast is very limited and they only make available a set number of each item (like coffee creamers), and when we asked for more the attendant said "you too late". The only english speaking staff member was the front desk clerk. The pool is very small. The condition of the hotel was not great either.

Convenient location, right off the interstate, but noise from the traffic could be heard in the room.

The room was great, however the toilet could have used some mechanical attention, but overall very nice. The indoor pool was an awesome addition. The staff allowed us to lounge and soak past the closing time which was very nice since the concert we attended that evening was a total dud. Kudos to Quality Inn and Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were traveling from Minnesota to Kansas and as the evening wore on, we tried to book a room in Ames, IA or DesMoines only to find that most were full due to the state fair, college registrations and some other big gatherings. We gave up on Ames and headed to DesMoines. It was around 9 by the time we hit town and decided to stay here. It is an older […] facility but we found it to be very clean and the room and bathroom were good sized and had a comfortable recliner. It is basic but clean. It does not have an elevator however so if you don't want to drag your bags up a flight of stairs, ask for ground floor and I would recommend asking for a room facing the courtyard as the others face a busy highway. This hotel is in absolutely no way a 3 star..not even a 2 star... and I felt like I was disceived! It is most likely the worst hotel I have ever been at. I did not even want to be there. I felt like I wasted my weekend and my money. Tiles would come up and stick to my feet in the bathroom...there were webs..dirt..bugs..etc throughout the halls and under […] the vanity area...it does not have a restaurant attached..only a completely dumpy closed down place attached...etc... 더 보기

We stayed while attending the NCAA Track Meet and were very satisfied.

We checked in and then went to our room and found out it was a smoking room instead of non-smoking. It definitely smelled like a smoking room and I had specifically asked for Non-Smoking on our reservation. When I asked about it, there were no Non-Smoking rooms available, so we returned the keys, checked out and left the hotel and went to another h […] otel. 더 보기
