Great room layout. I had the King with queen sofa pullout. The room was well appointed, and very comfortable. The A/C hvac was loud, but it cooled the room with ease. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste--but no lotion! But the hotel was quiet, and overall, it was a good stay.

Very enjoyable stay, but don't count on eating anything special for breakfast here.

The room and hotel were extemely clean and well kept. The shuttle service was great to get us to the shopping centers and restaurants. The customer service was good. I would definitely come back to this location.

just terrible

Comfortable, clean and convenient -- what more needs to be said?

Chosen for location and airport shuttle. Room was adequate but had a musty odor which I reported. Staff were less than concerned and it didn't appear that they intended to discuss it with cleaning staff.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms are exact like the pictures. View is not great.

Large room. Comfortable bed (I like soft tops with a firm base, to provide the best support for my body). All of the staff was very friendly. Great for the price we booked it on Hotels.com!

Stayed here for the Cowboys game and enjoyed the hotel. Nice breakfast, helpful staff and spacious rooms. Free shuttle within 3 miles of hotel and nice malls and restaurants within that radius.

I bought a room at this hotel for my husband and his father for the Bucs game. They spoke nothing but great things about their entire experience with the hotel. They were very happy with the shuttle service, and of course the huge flat screen TV! The price and quality was the best we could find near the airport since we had an early flight out the next day. We liked that we could get a wine and a beer to take up to our room. The breakfast had sufficiate selection. Rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated and clean.

Very helpful with hotel transportation to and from cruise ships! Clean and comfortable place in a great location. Friendly staff.

I was here on business and had made my reservation several days before I arrived. My room was prepaid, I arrived at 6pm to check in and provided the same credit card for incidentals. At 1 A.M., I received a call from the night manager telling me the credit card was not approved. After I was fullyl awake, I gave her a different credit card and when I […] provided the zip code, she realized it did not match with the one she had on the other card. She apologized. They had from the time I checked in at 6 PM well into the night to obtain an authorization. To wake me up at 1 AM is unbelievable. No comment was made the following morning when I checked out. This particular hotel was not the best, I love the hyatt and all the other HYATT CHAINS, but this by far was my worst Hyatt experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Great location, comfortable room and helpful staff especially Kevin.

Its not easy to find at first, but its close to the airport and the international mall. Night can be troublesome because of the area, but nothing to worry about.

Room was spacious and a convenient layout. Location was perfect - close to shopping, airport, and the beach. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was clean, but could use some "deep cleaning." Dust was noticeable along the back of the couch the bathroom tiles could use a good scour. Otherwise, everything was great.

This was a great deal to stay at this hotel for one night. The pick-up and drop-off from the airport was awesome, and the employees were very professional. Great continental breakfast, and the staff were outstanding. The room was very spacious with a 42" flat screen TV, and couch. Unfortunately one drawback was that the AC unit was a little loud. My Husband & I stayed here, the staff was very nice and welcoming. The hotel itself was clean.The bed in our room was very comfortable but the pillow was not at all comfortable other then that.I give the Hyatt a 5 star for my visit on 9/03/11-9/04/11

Nice rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Their shuttle will take you to and pick you up from anywhere within 3 miles so you have access to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.

I needed 3 rooms because we took my daughter and her friends to Busch Gardens for her bday. I chose this hotel based on cost and the free breakfast. I was not disappointed. The Ritz it is not, but the people were all very friendly (including the front desk guy who chased me down in my car because he gave me wrong directions). The Hyatt was great! I had to drive in to town for one night. My room was immaculate, sheets cleaned of course, and a nice big TV to make me feel as if I were home. So many positives for this hotel.

We checked in after a week at the beach, getting ready to fly out of Tampa Airport the following day. The room was incredible. Spacious, comfortable, it had everything we needed to unwind and get ready for a long flight home to California. We will definitely stay there again.

I loved everything about this hotel; the non-standard decor and furnishings, the super-friendly staff, and the delicious menu. More importantly, I appreciated the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on (bar NONE), the fact that food was available 24/7, and the bright idea to partner with another hotel chain, so that even though my flight arrived after […] midnight when Hyatt Place's shuttle stops running, I was still able to get a shuttle ride to the hotel. Excellent hotel for the money. The staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

My only reservation with this hotel was that there were a lot of topless and nude bars in the area. But it was close to the airport, the freeway, and numerous really good restaurants.

Liked the hotel. Offers good breakfast and free ride from the airport. For 20 bucks you can get a taxi to the port

The rooms were very well laid out, with an ample seating area, work area and sleeping area. The pool was tiny and the patio was not really very nice. If you are travelling on business or have an extended stay, this is a perfect hotel. If you are looking for some relaxation by the pool, not really reccommended.

Room was dirty, cleaning was terrible. Halls had odor, and way too much carpet freshner was used in the room.

We were to arrive late night and didn't want to drive far so looking for something convenient and not at the airport. Barely two miles from the airport we found Hyatt Place/Westshore and so glad we did. Rooms are very clean and up to date with amenities. We only needed to spend one night at the Hyatt Place but I would totally recommend to others. The hotel may be older but they've done a fantastic job on updating it. The room was spacious and beautiful. We were very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier.

I made a mistake when i did the reservation I call just to switch hotels and the did no wanted to help me even after telling them i will pay extra if i had to. i don't think i will ever use hotels.com again.
